If we consider that for some reason hotels and apartments in Belarus suddenly cost three times more than in St. Petersburg, although this is unjustified, then we were very lucky to book an inexpensive room in this hotel. Everything is clean and tidy. We walked around Minsk a lot, so we only spent the night at the hotel. It is ideally suited for this format.

I'd like to thank the Urban Rooms staff for a comfortable stay. I stayed for two nights at Osipenko-2. Comfort comes from the little details: a refrigerator and slippers in the room, dishes, cutlery, a kettle, a microwave, sugar, a selection of teas, and so on in the kitchen. Electrical outlets, USB ports, a work desk, and a toilet are all in the common area. Everything is done to ensure all basic needs are met. Clean, tidy, and polite. I highly recommend!

There are no slippers and dental supplies, and the hot water needs to be turned on and wait for 10 minutes to meet the hot water needs for the bath. Breakfast is OK

Overall fine, but there were some disappointments along the way. Good things: - excellent location, close to a convenience store and a great cafe - overall clean, except the shower. - very comfortable bed. - WiFi works fine, although you need to login with your phone number (which might be a problem if you’re not Belarusian or Russian). Bad things: - there wasn't a safe in the room, which meant I had to carry all the important items with me. - the shower is on the same level as a bathroom floor, which means it is constantly flooded with water. - could not get shower head to consistently output water with comfortable temperature - it was either colder than I wanted or burning hot. Overall shower has seen better days.

Amazing
FFanny fristhikaLocation is very strategic , near with some of recreational objects. You can buy groceries at supermarket around there, there's many good restaurant with affordable prices, and you can change your money to Rubel in the money changer at supermarket. The rate is good.
The room of apartment is good enough for 3 ppl. More than that will be cramped.
The bath room is so clean, hot and cold water is good , and the washing machine works properly.
The owner provides us transfer service to and from airport, with a good tariff. And the driver is so kind.
Maybe the only one minus poin, is no elevator to go to 5th floor 😄. But fortunately we were helped by the driver to bring up our luggage.
GGuest UserGreat hotel, super spacious rooms, clean and very friendly staff. Central location, free parking space and great food selection at breakfast. Would prefer to have a bit more modern shower and bathroom facility in general and some kind of coffee machine instead over instant coffee, but otherwise it’s a great hotel.
GGuest UserThe hotel is very decent, everyone tries, but is not intrusive. The location is the most central and convenient, there is a parking lot and a parking lot at the entrance/the restaurant is modest, the service is excellent. The price for accommodation is much more correct than other hotels. I recommend it!
EErhan B.Positive points:
Nice hotel, the room was big and quiet,
Location isnt far from the center,
Parking big and for free,
Spa and fitness included.
Less positive:
I couldnt use the central heatin in the room, so slept with open window,,
Some damages in the bathroom that could be repared.
GGuest UserI traveled to all european countries, mostly solo, but this happened to me first time. I arrived to this hostel without reservation, blond lady at the reception told me that there is no bed. She promptly offered me staying in some mini-hotel 5min by taxi drive = which is upsell, but that is OK. I politely declined, and asked again if the hostel is fully booked so I cannot stay there. She said, yes it is completely booked. It was evening, I was quite tired to look for a place, I went outside and checked Trip.com. I can see there same hostel with the place for 3-nights I requested - so I booked it. I came inside, show the lady reservation, she said ”yes, the place just appeared”. Again, I am OK with upsells, just please do not lie to me. No apologies from her, just playing dumb. The hostel and my stay was fine, the reception lady was an issue.
GGuest UserThe hotel boasts an excellent location. There's a large shopping mall right downstairs, with a wide variety of food and fast-food options on the third floor, making it incredibly convenient. Getting here from the airport is also very straightforward: take the airport bus to the transportation hub, and the hotel is just a short walk away.
QQAComplianceAuditorI stayed at this hotel (formerly a monastery and later a guardhouse) and had mixed feelings. Overall, I liked it, but it wasn't without its drawbacks. I think it's better here in summer than in fall and winter.
The first thing I really miss is a trash can in the room. The only small one is in the bathroom, and it's clearly not enough. There's nowhere to throw trash in the room itself.
The second drawback is the cold. The air conditioner is controlled remotely, and it's impossible to set the room temperature yourself. While in regular hotels you can turn up the heat or cool down, here you have to go to reception every time and ask for the temperature to be changed. They promise to do so, but in the end, the room remains chilly. It feels like they're saving on their customers.
The third drawback is the blanket. It fits the mattress perfectly and doesn't hang down the sides at all. It's fine for one person, but if you're sleeping with two people, the blanket is definitely not enough—someone will be left without shelter.
And the fourth point is the echo. Yes, the walls here are indeed thick, as befits an old monastery, but the sound inside reverberates so strongly that every word reverberates. It makes you feel like you're in an empty room—you don't even want to speak.
The fifth drawback is breakfast. While the hours are convenient—from 7 to 11 a.m.—it's very meager. I arrived around 10 a.m., and there were no desserts at all; fruit—a couple of meager orange slices, and that was it. Overall, the fruit and sweet options were poor. The main course included an omelet, an egg with a yolk, a sausage (which tasted distinctly chemical), and fried potatoes—and that's about it.
Overall, I liked the hotel itself: atmospheric, unusual, and steeped in history. But the price is clearly overpriced. For the amenities offered here, the price should be at least a third lower. Right now it's just not worth the money they're asking for it.
CChiaraThe property is well located (within walking distance of shops, restaurants and attractions) and does its job, but looks tired and in need of renovation. Reasonably quiet.
The room looked slightly gloomy, with dark decor and stained carpeting that had seen better days. Inconveniently located power sockets: at floor level both near the desk and near the head of the bed behind the curtains. A/C was old and difficult to adjust. Amenities included mini-fridge and electric kettle.
Reasonably comfortable bed and pillows. Comforter only without top sheet (not ideal in summer). Multiple mismatched lamps that had to be turned off one by one.
Bathroom with everything in working order. Low water pressure in the shower (on the 6th floor).
Poor wifi (room was at the end of the hallway).
Free parking for guests, although getting in and out is a little complicated.
Friendly staff; most of them speak English.
GGuest UserBeautiful soviet era hotel with modern rooms. Clean room with great amenities. Convent locations with most major attractions within a short walking distance.
AAnonymous UserBooked by a friend using my account. Overall, it was pretty good. The only real downside is the location, which is a bit out of the way – expect a 30-40 minute taxi ride. Check-in was smooth. Be aware that only towels are provided; you'll need to bring all your other toiletries like slippers, toothpaste, toothbrushes, shower gel, and shampoo.
