"Very nice staff and good service. We received the Salzburg guest mobility card from the hotel the day before we flew to Salzburg so we can enjoy the free transportation right once we arrived to the airport. The heater, hot water and kitchen of Apartment Elisa are all workable without problem. We enjoy the time when we stayed there!"
"I had a wonderful stay at Leonardo Salzburg! The customer service was truly superb. I’d like to especially compliment the receptionists, Juliana and Mary — and a big shoutout to Juliana. I arrived at the hotel earlier than the usual check-in time, and they kindly allowed us to check in early with just a short wait of about 20 minutes. During the wait, they even offered us coffee and pastries, which was such a thoughtful touch. Juliana was incredibly friendly, polite, and patient in answering all my queries. Her warm hospitality really made my stay feel special. Thank you to the team at Leonardo Salzburg for such a pleasant experience. Highly recommended!"
"The location of this hotel is excellent. We feel very satified with the bath and the bedding which had enlightened our stay for 4 nights in Salzburg. We like the window blinds and the mountain view of the room given to us on the upper floor. The complaint is that there is no table in the room and not enough electric plugs which are important nowadays for travellers to chargie our electrical appliance and devices."
"The hotel is located nearby the Salzburg central station. The breakfast was nice and with a good variety of food. What impressed me a lot was that the drinks offered in the room’s mini bar were all free of charge."
"Not in the city but just 10 minutes trip by bus route no. 1. It's convenient and the hotel gave us a mobility ticket that can take bus free of charge. No shops are close but a few restaurants which are quite good. The staff are nice and the bar in the lobby opens until 10pm. The hotel is full of art, even on the toilet cover and the carpet outside! Room size is ok. Have air-con but we just opened the window then the temperature is suitable for sleeping. It's 15°C outside at night. Like the shower room as it can be covered fully and no water is splitting out"
"Booked a bit late so didn't really have many choices in Salzburg. But I was surprised by the service and cleanliness of the room. I messaged the hotel directly to ask for direction from the station and was told to take Obus No 2. It was easy to get there with the pre-arrange Salzburg Mobility Card. Location wise it is not near to the station of Ler the main area. But it is ok since there is couple of supermarkets nearby (Billa, EuroSpar and Aekshea - Asian mart). The bottled water is only 1 per stay. Free flow of tap water is highly recommended."
"Hotel situated near to the old town which is easy walkable within few minutes to the old town and also to the main town. It is easily access via bus, within 5 mins walking from bus station to the hotel. Overall is quite acceptable stay with the rate."

GGuest UserWe had an excellent stay in this gem of a boutique hotel in the Junior Suite with Executive Lounge Access. Help yourself to free beer, wine, mineral water, juices and soft drinks plus snacks all through the day. Some hor d'oeuvres are served from 6pm and some light breakfast items in the morning in the well furnished lounge. The breakfast buffet is of good quality, fantastic selection of coffees & teas, decent variety of hot & cold food with an egg station manned by a cheerful Afghan cook. I was impressed by the excellent English and kind hospitality of Anja at the front desk and the wonderful Julia M. in the restaurant / breakfast room. Julia is a very gracious and lovely young lady who is an asset to the hotel with perfect language skills and who went the extra mile for us, and always with a smile.
GGuest UserI like it very much here. It's close to the train station and has many Chinese restaurants in the walking distance. Reception girl is very sweet and pretty. My room is large and homes good condition facilities. I like the breakfast dinner best on the 15th floor.
GGuest UserWe stayed at Harry’s home in Salzburg city centre for 3 nights between 20/12/25 and 23/12/25. There were three of us, including our 5-year old daughter. The hotel itself is situated very centrally, just 5 minutes away from Salzburg’s main railway station, where one can also get access to most of the buses as well. There is also parking available right on the back of the hotel, which is owned by the city of Salzburg, but the hotel can help with booking. A 24-h pass cost me 15 Euros. When we arrived, there must have been some problem with the booking platform, as I was told that the hotel’s system had us down as two adults, but our booking included a child via trip.com-note to trip.com: check your platform and the kind of information it sends to hotels’ systems please! Anyway, the only problem caused by that was that the sofa bed was not made up as a bed, but they came upstairs and made it with my help. The room we stayed in was small; there’s no denying it. However, we did not need anything big, as we were out all day. Also, it was very clean and tidy! It was warm when we got there and we dialled the temperature down ourselves, which is always a plus. Moreover, there was a little kids’ corner on the ground floor with various plush animals, cards, etc. for the little ones. My daughter and I spent some time playing there. On the basement, there was a guest kitchen in case anyone wanted to microwave anything and eat it there, and there were also two washing machines and two tumble dryers, which I made use of; very efficient and economical! The staff were polite and professional, but In would have liked them to smile more! Overall, a very nice stay, a decent room to stay in and an overall enjoyable experience.
GGuest UserHuge family room however the room lighting definetely needs UPGRADING! We were given the 2 queen size beds which was great n comfy! Bathroom comes with a bathtub which is ancient n needs upgrading . But it has heater which is great during winter of -3c. Room lighting is yellow dim lighting like the 80s. If you book, the executive level room(my cousin stayed there), the room is new n is white lighting .
CCathyyC.I love this hotel a lot. it’s a small family owned one but very neat and tidy, breakfast tastes so good and the staff are all very nice. it’s around just 5 minutes walk to central train station which makes it so much easier for us after long whole day trips. It definitely worth staying!
GGuest UserThe hotel is clean and located in quite a good location as you can find supermarkets and places to eat nearby the hotel. The shower room is good with high jet flow of water. The breakfast is OK and worth the money.
SSKMCarmenDidn’t really have a good experience on this but thank god Trip did compensate a small fee. The room is good, the hotel is good BUT whoever that has booked please read this:-
1. Make sure they send you a pin code to enter the hotel at least 3 days before or else keep emailing and calling before you reach. There is no workers all automated if you reach and have no code to enter you are stranded! Yes there is a phone to call but Im not sure why the phone doesn’t work properly!! I called 7 times only to 1 time they pick up. And finally after waiting in the cold for 30 mins they let me know the pin code to enter. Its very hard to contact the hotel maybe because im not using local phone number. Contacted trip and they themselves couldn’t contact them in time. According to the hotel, there should be an email from them with instructions and code.
2. Yes, I do love the concept of having no one to check in but at least leave like an ipad or a screen for guest to check and contact???
3. Rooms were nice, blinds were automatic. Clean and have smart tv. They do have elevators thank god.
Besides the ‘PIN number’ enter check in, its all good.
