"Booked a bit late so didn't really have many choices in Salzburg. But I was surprised by the service and cleanliness of the room. I messaged the hotel directly to ask for direction from the station and was told to take Obus No 2. It was easy to get there with the pre-arrange Salzburg Mobility Card. Location wise it is not near to the station of Ler the main area. But it is ok since there is couple of supermarkets nearby (Billa, EuroSpar and Aekshea - Asian mart). The bottled water is only 1 per stay. Free flow of tap water is highly recommended."

"Hotel is fairly new. The room was clean with bright linens. Pillows could have been better. Aircond and shower were great. Just a reminder to bring your own dental kit and bedroom slippers as they are not provided. For those coming from Salzburg train station, just follow the route by Salzburg Mobil for bus lines. You can also use this route to go to town and visit tourist spots and food venues. The hotel being slightly out of city centre will also provide guests with the mobility pass to enable you to travel freely within the city on transport mode such as buses and trolley buses. Do use this strategic location to visit nearby attractions via train to Hallstatt and regional bus to Konigssee. Both outstanding places. The check-in and check-out staffs were friendly and helpful. Keep up the good team work everyone."

"Nice room and shower in the hotel, breakfast was excellent and the staff stayed later than usual to allow us to check in in the evening. Please be warned the desk is not 24 hours so make sure you’d arrive in time for check in."

"The room was satisfactory; it was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and two large suitcases could easily be laid flat. The bathroom had heated towel rails. Breakfast was clear, and the staff were very attentive. The hotel is located on the slopes of Kapchina Hill, near Zweig's birthplace, which I wanted to visit—I was delighted! There are various restaurants nearby, and it's just across the bridge to the other side, which is very convenient."

"We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Goldglasse. It is a very small hotel. There is no lobby just a little room where we checked in by a delightful lady (sorry I didn't catch her name). She offered us a glass of sparkling wine or tea and then showed us to our room. The room was very spacious with a separate seating area. The bathroom was clean, bright and modern and the shower was great. The little details sometimes make or break a hotel stay for me and there was such great attention to detail here. There were luxury feeling products in the bathroom including conditioner and body lotion which you often don't get. There was a kettle as well as a high quality coffee maker. Even the hairdryer was of a much better standard than normal hotel hairdryers. The bed was very comfortable. The location is great - right in the old town and not more than 10 mins walk from all the main sights. Lovely bakery at the end of the road (turn right out of the hotel). Overall a great little hotel that I would highly recommend."
