"I stayed here for one night. The hotel is next to the main Eko hotel and a newer version. The ambiance is nice and hotel is located in Victoria Island of Lagos. It is a popular hotel and also very busy. Check in and check out was a breeze. Breakfast was ok, many options. My room was big but there wasn’t any hot water."

The Art Hotel

"Let me start by saying that the service was great despite the fact that the premises need some major work as the finishing details are totally missing from the moment you walk through the door, to the rooms, to looking at the walls and ceilings throughout the property. You can see the vision and effort made to get there but it is immensely lacking. I had issues with the AC which was remedied by moving me to another room. The internet connection was very unstable. There were 2 roaches in my room (one of the dining table and the other between the closet and the coffee shelf) which shows that the room cleaning is not properly done and I am not even sure if they actually wash down the shower door, walls and floors. Some of the furniture and bathroom mirrors were rusty and dirty. The toilet paper hanger was dirty as well, just out right nasty. To close, the Art Hotel is definitely not a 5-star hotel AND does not compare to the level and standing of the Lagos Marriott Ikeja, AT ALL! if you are looking for close to 5-star, clean, top notch service, I recommend the Marriott Ikeja."
