"I chose their 270-degree sea view room online because it was significantly cheaper than similar rooms. So, I gave up my original plan for a twin-bed room. When I got to the room and opened the curtains, I was pleasantly surprised! It looked exactly like the pictures on the platform – what you see is what you get. It would have been even more perfect if there wasn't a rooftop in front, haha! 😂 The room was very clean, and there was plenty of space for luggage. There's a mini-fridge, and they even provided complimentary iced Coke! They offer port pickup and drop-off, and the owner was already waiting for us when we disembarked. The guesthouse's location is also very convenient; it's perfect for strolling from one end of Mazu Temple towards Ewei. The guesthouse has small electric scooters available for rent, but we tried one, and my driving skills weren't great, and I accidentally broke a small flower pot belonging to the guesthouse. I offered to pay, but the landlady insisted on not taking any money... She helped us find a reasonably priced mini-scooter rental and even warned us about the risk of scrapes since the rental scooter wasn't insured. The service was exceptional! At night, we felt an earthquake due to the tremor in Taiwan. I went downstairs, and the owner told me their guesthouse foundation could withstand a magnitude 4-5 earthquake, which immediately put my mind at ease, haha. It was a really great stay, definitely worth the two days I spent carefully choosing it!"

The service is very good, the front desk and the boss who drinks tea next to you will chat with you and provide information. The shuttle service to and from the island pier: very convenient, the master is very good. The picture and the house actually match. "The proprietress is attentive and thoughtful, and she does everything! On the island, the car was arranged to pick up, and the driver waited at the pier on time; I checked in and tasted Mazu cake, and also presented free guides and arranged car rental services. The whole process made people worry-free. The recommended food is also super tasteful, and the car is arranged intimately when leaving. It is really a super reliable good homestay, highly recommended!"

"Like this homestay 😄👍🏻 The boss family made our three families feel the simplicity of the island, and sent Mazu cakes after check-in. See us go out to play and get us water and pick up and drop off on the island. After playing in the evening, the boss was enthusiastic and cut us watermelon. While drinking tea with the boss, he chatted with them to understand the customs of their side. Weizhou Island will definitely come to play with people around Amway, a big Amway homestay."

"This B&B doesn't look like much on the outside, but the interior decoration is very nice. Our family of seven booked the third floor. There are three bedrooms, one living room, four bathrooms, and a very large living room on the third floor. It's definitely a good deal to book this set for 6-8 people. A simple breakfast is provided in the morning, and the porridge is delicious. There are battery cars for rent at the door of the B&B. We booked a sightseeing car. The owner of the B&B provided us with a phone number for renting the sightseeing car. The driver was very polite and patient. I highly recommend it. If you need to borrow a sightseeing car at your accommodation, be sure to ask the B&B owner for his phone number."

"The room had a fantastic view, a large and incredibly soft bed, and was very close to the Mazu Temple. Facilities: Fully equipped; disposable towels were provided. Cleanliness: Very good and clean. Environment: No elevator, but the view was truly beautiful, and the price was very reasonable. Ferry terminal pick-up and drop-off service: Excellent and prompt. The owner was very kind and even provided free breakfast."

"This place is relatively new, and living by the water makes me feel great every day just opening the curtains. Charging stations and restaurants are conveniently located nearby. The one-bedroom apartment is spacious enough. However, I have a few suggestions. Perhaps due to its recent opening, the service isn't great yet; the room wasn't cleaned the next day, and the breakfast was a bit too simple – just a vegetable bun, a tea egg, and a cup of soy milk. It wasn't filling or satisfying enough. Luckily, there's a decent breakfast option nearby. Overall, it's a great place to stay, and I hope the owner continues to improve it."

"The overall feeling of staying in is very good, it is a very pleasant stay experience. The space layout of the homestay is very reasonable, the lighting and ventilation effect are very good, and staying in the house is not depressed at all. "We visited with our kids during the Dragon Boat Festival holiday. We visited Mazu Temple and explored many places based on recommendations from Xiaohongshu. The sunsets by the sea were incredibly beautiful and so therapeutic! We didn't have much time during our holiday; otherwise, we would have loved to stay a few extra days. The slow pace of life here is truly delightful! The guesthouse is newly renovated, impeccably clean, and blissfully quiet at night. It's conveniently located near Mazu Temple, Rainbow Road, and Meiyu Chaoyin. The free shuttle service to/from the ferry terminal was very convenient, and they even provided complimentary tools for beachcombing. The service was excellent, and the guesthouse offered fantastic value for money. We were very satisfied!"

"The B&B I found on Ctrip was small but well-equipped. The entire booking process was very friendly. The owner proactively informed me about the ferry ticket reservation, confirmed the driver's pick-up, and the front desk lady even helped carry my suitcase to the third floor. Since we avoided the summer peak season, there weren't many guests, so the room was very quiet. What you see is what you get. The cleanliness was quite good, and disposable towels were provided. The location was particularly convenient for morning prayers, just a 10-minute walk away. Breakfast at the B&B includes steamed buns, fried dough sticks, scallion pancakes, corn, side dishes, and soy milk, but I usually missed breakfast during morning prayers. Takeout is very convenient and fast; the driver will even walk up the stairs to my door! There are many small eateries and convenience stores near the Mazu Temple, as well as many skinny cats. You can bring your own cat food or buy fish intestines locally. The farmers' market is just over a 20-minute walk from the B&B. I enjoyed the mixed fruit and fried oysters. The area around the farmers' market is full of restaurants serving a variety of cuisines, including fried skewers. All the statues at the Mazu Temple are photo-friendly, which is incredibly friendly. Furthermore, believers can even walk up to the temple platform to place their offerings. The openness and equality of the people really impressed me! The stone temple where you can whisper to Mazu is open 24 hours a day, which again astounded me! Furthermore, you can redeem a free airport shuttle from Fule Airport to Fuzhou South Station with your plane ticket and high-speed rail ticket. Fujian is truly wonderful! Although the layover from the plane to the B&B took about four hours, these few days made it all worth it. Before leaving, the elderly couple at the B&B gave me a Mazu cake, which was very chewy and I loved it. I hope to see Mazu again soon. 🙏"
