Veranda Natural Resort ★★★★
"According to the website, Veranda is “the perfect destination for those seeking tranquility…” and so we booked a night to escape the noise of a ceremony next to our house. Upon arrival we had to change rooms as there was also a very loud ceremony near the hotel. The second twin room was quieter but seemed like a downgrade from our original double room. Later that night there was also very loud karaoke in the vicinity, which was disturbing in our room; the hotel said there was nothing they can do if the noise isn’t from their hotel. In the morning we woke up to loud construction work noise about 100m away. There was quite allot of burning in the area, so it is quite smokey too, when you sit in the restaraunt or out in your balcony. Overall, not my idea of tranquility. Seems hard to find any peace and quite location with fresh air in Cambodia these days; which is very sad. Such a shame as the hotel is very beautiful, staff were friendly and the breakfast was quite good. In the end it was a waste of a trip, time and money :("
Legend Kep Resort ★★★
"Decent."
Serene Vita Retreat ★★★★
"This is a brand new boutique that just opened up a little over a month ago. Newly renovated (a few slight teething issues) with clean (brand new) bedsheets and in-room amenities. The restaurant is also very accommodating and the team even offered to bring breakfast in-room. I believe the hotel was full when we stayed there but the rooms were nice and quiet and it served the purpose of being a getaway in the middle of nowhere. The team gets top marks for communication prior to and post trip and did everything they could to make it a smooth trip. The only issue was that the hotel is somewhat remote so getting public transport or getting any form of transport in and out of the hotel is a bit of an issue."
Kep Sea View Hotel ★★★
"The plus side is that it's next to the pier where you depart for Rabbit Island. Breakfasts at the hotel are sometimes ordered individually from their menu, and other times they prepare a buffet. The food is so-so, and the drinks aren't great. They speak English very poorly. The hotel itself is clean, but it's next to a residential area and the roosters crow. After 8 PM, it's quiet and nothing is open around there. There's a pool, and it feels secluded and hidden from everyone. The rooms are spacious. We wouldn't go there a second time…"
Kep Bay Hotel & Resort ★★★★
"Good location close to Kep city but the price was a bit high compared to the experience we got from our stay."
PHKACHAN KEP BOUTIQUE ★★★
"The facility is good, but the environment is a little bit quite at night."
Try Palace Resort Kep ★★★★★
"I have stayed here many times and I am satisfied with everything. The only downside is that the bed sheets have a strong smell of detergent."
Mealea Resort ★★★
"No option for breakfast, only bread and eggs are available:-("
Sangkahak Mith Hotel ★★★
"The surrounding is very quiet; the swimming pool is relatively clean and large, and the temperature is just right for swimming at night, not too cold or too hot; the parking space is large. However, it is not easy to dry the washed clothes."

Kep Arunrass Boutique
"The owner is very friendly and supportive. The rooms are acceptable but not very satisfying. Location is good since it’s somehow nearby the market. You can have your own grill party there."
Raingsey Bungalow
"A very nice hotel in a tropical garden, a 10-minute walk from the market and very close to the national park. The continental breakfast is good but not very varied. The shower didn't work; the pipes were leaking and the tap was broken. It took two days to get it completely fixed. The Wi-Fi isn't very fast. I didn't like the traces of squashed insects on the walls."
Reachbut Sessor Hotel
"A good hotel, located a bit far from the beach and market. There are restaurants and a store nearby. There is no refrigerator in the room. There is hot water and the air conditioning works."
Knai Bang Chatt Resort
"I had such a great stay at Knai Bang Chatt. The place itself is beautiful and peaceful and the people are amazing. For example, The receptionist (I think his name was Samnang) went completely out of his way to help me find sunscreen—he took photos at the pharmacy, and brought it back without charging anything extra. Mornings started with a swim in the pool or sunrise yoga, followed by a long breakfast where you can have literally anything—from Vietnamese Pho (apparently steamed for 3 hours) to avo toast with perfectly poached eggs. The restaurant at the seafront is also a really good, local crab with fresh pepper sauce, Italian food, fresh smoothies or Cambodian food, it really has it all and the quality is absolutely fantastic! We took the boat trip to the nearby island where they do marine conservation work, which was really interesting and gave me more context about the area and conservation work they do. Seeing the pepper farms was also great! I also had a very good pedicure and massage at the spa. Each time I was able to go within 15 minutes of asking. Being here helped me unwind in a way I haven’t experienced in a long time . See you next time!"
Samanea Beach Resort & Spa
"This is my spouse’s favorite place. It is absolutely beautiful. Walking down the pier feels like walking toward the most beautiful edge of the world. The cool breeze and the gentle waves feel like they are purifying my soul. We also had a wonderful time at the Kampot pepper farm, which is not far from the resort. This is the second time I have celebrated my spouse’s birthday here. I am so grateful to the staff for the birthday cake, champagne, and the lovely room decorations. Dinner at the outdoor table was truly memorable. Also, the electric car tour to the pier was a very special experience. Thank you so much to the manager and all the staff."
KEP LODGE
"A very pleasant and well-located hotel. The pool is lovely, the breakfast is good, the à la carte restaurant has a limited but delicious menu, and the grounds are beautiful. The staff are both helpful and efficient; it's a real pleasure to stay here! The bathrooms could use a refresh; they're sometimes a bit dated (but that won't stop us from coming back, as the value for money is excellent)."
Kep Bungalows
"Good service beautiful room"
Q Bungalows
"The pool is great, a definite highlight. The gardens and breakfast are good. Location is an easy walk to the waterfront restaurants and national park. Room would benefit from maintainance eg broken mosquito netting on windows (so we had to keep windows closed), and needs a fresh paint. Large gaps around the door (partly where the wood has been eaten away) so mosquitos could get in even with windows closed. I appreciate maintainance can be difficult in hot climates, but for the price, you would expect better. More thorough cleaning would also help eg the floor needed a sweep when we arrived, cockroach and lots of ants. Provision of drinking water and coffee supplies was minimal, and restaurant has very limited vegetarian options. I'd recommend staying here if a good pool and green space is your priority and you don't mind rough edges in the room."
Bird of Paradise Bungalows
"This is the place to stay when visiting Kep. Stephen, his wife, and the staff are extremely friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the area and places to visit. The AC bungalow that I stayed in was extremely clean, and includes all the amenities you need. The location is near the marketplace, restaurants and Kep beach, all are within walking distance or a short Tuk Tuk ride. Don't bother looking elsewhere while in Kep, this property won't let you down."
Tara Lodge Haven of Peace
"Lovely, quiet place with bungalows surrounding an excellent pool. If you book a room on the upper levels of the bungalows, then you are high amongst the trees which is a joy. All of the rooms have balconies and areas to sit and relax. Lionel is the French owner who was super helpful … organizing a couple of days Remorque (tuk tuk) excursions around Kep which we really enjoyed. $40 / day with English speaking driver called Su Kim who was really fun and explained various things to us en route. Tara Lodge itself is about 10 - 15 mins walk to the crab market . Kimly restaurant which is a 5 min walk from the market is by far the best resto along the sea front. Get there early, grab a table on the open veranda looking out over the sea - and watch the sun set. Perfect evening. Just a couple of small things - bathrooms a little tired, and breakfast could be improved. But - definitely worth a stay and great value."
Rock Royal Hotel & Resort
"big hotel, big disappointemt, many things broken, will not return"
