"Short rating 3/5: This is a rundown hotel, which is a shame because it is exceptionally beautifully located and has a large swimming pool. Pros: + beautiful location and view + large swimming pool, no crowds + good food (except for Asian evening) + grill, feta, olive oil and tzatziki + friendly service + Whisky quite OK + There are no ashtrays and people don't smoke by the pool Cons - not cleaned around the pool, algae on the edges, dirty tiles, tables and sunbeds - neglected garden and hotel grounds - rooms need to be refreshed and replaced witth part of equipment - It happened to finish a meal before someone came up to offer drinks - The smell of sewage by the pool Dear managers. In comments from months ago, you write that you have passed comments about cleanliness to respective staff, but it is still dirty. I've attached some photos. This is not what you expect to see in a 5-star resort."

"Our first visit to Kefalonia and our travel agent picked this hotel for us. After a week at this hotel we can highly recommend it. The location is great, close to the airport and close to Argostoli. Very nearby is a wonderful beach, one of the best on the island, and not too crowded. After a day of touring some of us enjoyed swimming in the hotel pool. Maria, the owner, supervises everything her self. She is a great hostess and made us feel very welcome from the minute we arrived. Her staff are very attentive and receptive to all our requests. Our rooms were large, with lots of chairs, comfortable bed, fully equipped kitchen, large bathroom and terrace with sea view. The rooms and entire facilities were very clean and quiet and we could enjoy a relaxing vacation. Lots of choices for breakfast, which we enjoyed on the terrace. During the day the bar was available for coffee, milkshakes, cocktails, etc. If you are heading to Kefalonia for a vacation come to this wonderful peaceful hotel."

"Location good. 10 minute up hill walk from town square. Staff were generally friendly. Room dated. Balcony door handle broke off when trying to open door, shower door kept falling off. Toilet seat loose. Room small. Bathroom smaller. Pool was good but did not open until 11am apparently due to start time of ‘life guard’ who was there sometimes not always. Lifeguard constantly telling people off for jumping in pool, depending on who was jumping in pool. Sun loungers old, tatty & uncomfortable, umbrellas old tatty . Breakfast poor . Food quality poor. Lunch menu & food round pool poor, drinks poor. Bottled beer was good. Receptionist was lovely Will NOT be returning…"

"Excellent location right next to the Argostoli seafront. Spacious, super-modern, and very clean rooms. Delicious breakfast. My only complaint is that if you had a bar open in the evenings, it would be great! Kudos to the great Vaggelis, who looked after us wonderfully throughout our entire holiday!"

"I had a great stay at this nice boutique hotel. Nice room with a balcony and appreciated all the little surprises in the room and the free mini bar. Breakfast is above and beyond with a lot of food. Location is a short walk out of the main areas, no issues with parking although Google Maps takes you a bit of an odd way here and I found an easier way on my own. I didn't talk to the hosts too much. Would definitely recommend."

"Our 3rd visit and still brilliant in every way. We enjoyed an excellent breakfast and great food in the restaurant. There are always plenty of loungers to relax and enjoy the sun. All bedrooms have an amazing Sea view and are so comfortable. The staff are so helpful and caring as always. We look forward to next year. Thank you again."

"Perfect location for visiting the island. There is an amazing restaurant at the bottom of the hill that does the best food and great service. The hotel was quiet, food at the buffet was ok, it stopped us from being hungry. But I’d recommend going out. It’s right on the bus route that’s €2 and takes your passed Lassi and into Argostoli. The sun loungers were really comfortable and the views from the pool are beautiful. You can watch the sunset from the pool, it’s stunning. Id definitely go back if I wanted to visit Kefalonia again, this is a great base and staff are friendly Also a little beach close by, not the best in Kefalonia but still nice as it’s close."

"All I can say is wow! Stunning hotel with beautiful views. Amazing pool area and bar. Staff can not do enough for you . Lovely clean rooms . The staff are mainly family and are all so polite and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. Super local tavernas and a beautiful beach front just 10 mins walk. If I could come back every year I would. Highly recommend if you like to just relax and chill and have a lovely quiet holiday in the sun x"
