Yuukaro Showa ★★★
"The breakfast was lavish and absolutely delicious. Thank you for the souvenir cookies. The sea was nearby, and the view was absolutely stunning!"
Shiosai ★★
"It's a traditional house with traditional management. It starts, as is customary in Japan, with taking off your shoes at the entrance. You're given slippers. The owner makes sure everything is done correctly. Only Japanese is spoken, but that's no problem since there's a translator. You sleep in a room on the floor with a flat mattress, a blanket, and a cherry pit pillow. Breakfast is also traditional: fish, rice with a raw egg and soy sauce, tea, and other items. There's a wonderful onsen (hot spring). There isn't a bathroom per se, just a sink and toilet, each separate. The two owners of the guesthouse are extremely kind and helpful. We were driven to and from the restaurant free of charge. If you appreciate or want to experience traditional Japanese hospitality, this is the perfect place."
Minatokan ★★★
"Starting on August 21, I booked a house with private soup and bathroom. You can see a beautiful sunset for two consecutive days. Breakfast is Japanese cuisine, a variety of side dishes, tofu, eggs, salad, a fish, miso soup, rice, snacks, tea, enough. In the afternoon, a snack is usually given. At breakfast, the tatami is put away, and at dinner, the tatami is laid. Kaiseki cuisine at night is too rich, a variety of seasonal seafood, tempura, but horse beef, ice cream, value for money, eat delicious. The point is that the staff here is too warm. I feel like taking care of me like my mother. I am kind, enthusiastic, attentive, and thoughtful, as if at home. When I said goodbye, I was reluctant and I almost shed tears. Goodbye, everyone in the thirty-seven halls. I really hope that in winter in the snow, soak in hot springs, eat and live crabs, and see the kind and hospitable people again."
Minshuku Kazu ★★
"The crab was delicious. We enjoyed a full crab course: sashimi, grilled, boiled, deep-fried, crab hot pot, and crab miso. Everything was delicious. The crabs still had tags on them and were sparkling clean. They said they had been alive in the tank just moments before. How incredibly fresh! The restaurant is run by a husband and wife. Starting this year, drinks are self-serve and all-you-can-drink. There's beer, of course, but also sake, whiskey, canned chu-hi, plum wine, juice, tea, and sparkling water. There was so much to choose from, I couldn't decide. They commented that we shouldn't expect too much, but it was more than enough. The bath isn't a hot spring, but it's available for private use. If it's free, you can use it anytime. Actually, this was my third visit. I'm definitely feeling like a regular customer now."
Satsuhana ★★
Iwaya ★★
"This was my second stay at Iwaya because I was impressed during the first visit a year ago. The inn is just a short walk from Shibayama station. Dinner was delicious with fresh and sweet crab done a few ways. Breakfast was wonderful as well. The whole inn and the rooms are full of charm. Thank you for the wonderful stay and the mikan. I hope many more people will know about this place and visit it."
Sadasuke ★★★
"Both morning and dinner were very delicious. I will visit you next time in winter."
Nukumori No Yado Ishida ★★
"The station is not far away. There are many places to eat and a supermarket nearby. After arriving at the station at 11 o'clock, we left our luggage at the station. After dinner, we went to Okami Park to drink tea and enjoy the scenery until 2 o'clock. Then we returned to the station to pick up our luggage. When I was ready to check in, I was told that the check-in time was at 4 o'clock. I could only discuss with the owner to store my luggage and then go to the supermarket and walk around until 4 o'clock. I checked out at 10:00 the next day and waited in the station rest room. The sound insulation facilities were poor. There is no small refrigerator in the room, which is inconvenient. I hope Ctrip’s information is correct. The Kinki Nature Trail at Jibibi Observatory is worth a walk. There is a bus in Shimohama on the return trip to Xiangzhu Station."

Hotel Hinodeso
"I used it on a ski family trip! It was a very cold day, so the room didn't warm up with air conditioning alone, and I was saved with a kotatsu. I was stuck in the key, but I was relieved to respond by phone."
Sasaya
"The hot spring I was looking forward to was broken so I couldn't use it. Instead I was given a coupon for a nearby hot spring. There was no refrigerator in the room so be careful when using it in the summer."
