"The room was spacious and well-suited for business travelers, with a large bed, sofa, and a generous work desk. The hotel is also very close to the airport.
One thing to note is that the airport shuttle only runs every 30 minutes, so convenience may depend on your schedule and how rushed you are.
Service was somewhat inconsistent. Some staff members were friendly and helpful, while others seemed less polished in their customer service. One shuttle driver was particularly warm and welcoming, but another came across as less professional, which left a less positive impression.
The room and bathroom appeared clean overall. However, there was occasionally a faint musty odor in parts of the bathroom, possibly due to humidity. It wasn’t overwhelming, but it was noticeable at times.
Overall, the spacious room and convenient airport location were definite highlights, though service quality and some maintenance details could be improved."

"Most hotels pick up guests from P4 via shuttle, but the Marriott offers shuttle service from Terminals A, B, and C, as well as P4. The hotel email conveniently includes a link to track the shuttle's real-time location. For breakfast, there's a à la carte menu with a spending limit of just over 40 RMB; anything beyond that needs to be paid. We ordered the 40 RMB set meal, and even with the tip, we stayed within the limit."

"They charged me $190 without explanations. When I checked out they said $50 deposit will be refunded, but still charged me $140 for the room. At the time of booking with Trip was $137 tax and service included.
They did not even give me bottle water in the room. Only keurig coffee machine and water in there was dirty. I told them I only need hot water to make some tea, they told me to go to the gym but the hot water was not even working there, so I had to buy a cup of hot water for $1 + tax and a bottle water which the price was as high as airport price.
The only thing beneficial to me was airport shuttle every 30 min and run 24 hrs daily."

"I've stayed at the Courtyard in Colombo before and it was great, but this Courtyard is not the same as the other Courtyard. There are small shops all around, the speakers are very loud, the soundproofing in the room is poor, all kinds of noises are very noisy, it's hard to open the window in the room, the bedding is very average, there are no slippers, I don't dare to walk around, I usually don't write reviews, just want to remind my Chinese friends"

"This was a layover hotel for us and it did the trick. It is only about 15 minutes away from Teminal C at EWR and also has shuttles that can drop you to the airport. Remember to call ahead of time and book your slot because the shuttle runs at scheduled time and can be full. They have a decent spread for breakfast. The reception is very helpful as well."

I stayed at TRYP by Wyndham Newark Downtown on a Tuesday night and overall had a good experience. The hotel is in a very convenient location, an easy walking distance to Newark Penn Station, which makes getting around extremely convenient.
The room was clean and comfortable, and the property feels well-maintained. My only complaint is the water pressure in the shower, which was noticeably weak. Everything else worked well, but stronger water pressure would make the stay much better.
Overall, a solid choice for a short stay in Newark, especially if you need quick access to Penn Station.

BhatiaStayed here after a late night flight into EWR. The hotel had a free shuttle that picked us from the airport. The staff was very welcoming despite our late check in and short stay. Rooms were clean and comfy!

Guest Useroverall the hotel was not bad it smelled amazing as soon as you walked in…the room was beautiful only thing i didn’t like was this big white thing inside the room which was kind of weird.Bathroom was beautiful but my toilet seat was really loose.There was a centipede in my room that totally freaked me out…a couple hairs in my bed and in the shower.Breakfast says it starts at 6:30am i went up to the 9th floor exactly at 6:30am and the lady who made the breakfast said it didn’t start till 7am.So i waited came back and ate and the food was horrible literally the sausage was dry and the potatoes were not fully cooked.I give this hotel a 3.8 review just minor changes that’ll make it a full 5 star.The picture i attached is of the centipede that freaked me out.

This is the oldest Hilton hotel I've ever stayed in. At 179cm tall, I felt the bathroom sink was a bit high. There was no mineral water in the room, so I brought my own slippers. The second floor is the front desk, and there's a small shop outside. There are many businesses outside, but for some reason it's been closed 24 hours a day for the past two days. Transportation is very convenient, with a train station next door, which has a McDonald's and small shops, and is two stops away from Manhattan. There are some homeless people, so try not to go out at night. I prefer a quiet room facing a side street, as cars, especially motorcycles, can be quite noisy around midnight.

The smell of paint is indeed strong. I don't know if the furniture is painted or something.
The front desk service is good and the guy is very friendly.
I didn't have breakfast because I had an early flight. I guess there are only a few options. Breakfast in American hotels is quite impetuous.

管The price is a bit expensive, anything else is ok. Many black people nearby are real, but don't take care of them. The breakfast in the hotel restaurant was particularly good and the others had not eaten. The room has a coffee machine and free coffee, which is very convenient. . Some people also commented that there is no kettle in the room. I just want to say that the coffee machine can not boil water? No borrowing. The overall service is OK, it is expensive, and it is more expensive than my stay in New York.
