It is 1/2 mile uphill the whole way and there is 300 feet that is steep and would be considered a strenuous hike with the most gorgeous views! The Blue Ridge Mountains in one direction and the tallest mountain in the opposite direction is Yellow Mountain which is one of the top hikes in all of Western North Carolina and very close to us. Elevation 4300! There is gorgeous landscaping on the property including rhododendrons planted all the way to the top of our private hike.
