"We stayed for six nights in Weston and had a mixed experience overall. Unfortunately, the room was not clean when we arrived late in the evening. The floors were dirty and covered in hairs, and it looked as though they had been mopped with a dirty mop. The porch area also had a distinct smell and very sticky floors, which made it uncomfortable to use. We also found several items left behind, including breakfast cereal behind the bedroom curtains and belongings under the cupboard. As we arrived very late and had cleaning supplies with us from travelling through the Keys, I cleaned the room myself rather than contacting the hotel. In fairness, they may have resolved this if given the opportunity, but housekeeping on arrival is definitely an area that needs improvement. Check‑in at the front desk was acceptable—nothing unpleasant, but not particularly welcoming. We were also charged more at check‑in than the price shown on Trip.com. I contacted Trip.com and they resolved the discrepancy quickly. The room itself was excellent in size. We stayed in a king room with a balcony, which was spacious and comfortable. The hotel’s facilities were a highlight: • The pool area was lovely and open until 11pm. • The hot tub was huge and kept at a perfect temperature. • BBQs and a fire pit were available and added to the overall experience. Location The location was brilliant. It offered easy access to the Everglades, Miami, and Fort Lauderdale, making it a great base for exploring South Florida. Despite the significant cleanliness issues on arrival, the hotel’s location, room size, and facilities were excellent. With improvements to housekeeping and a more welcoming check‑in experience, this could be a fantastic place to stay."

"Unfortunately when I got there I had to have my room changed because no one dusted any of the fixtures in a long time. When I got to my new room it was pretty much the same thing but I saw someone from housecleaning I. The hall and she came over and cleaned the fixtures on my room. That is the only issue I had with the room. Housecleaning turned down my room for me everyday, which I loved. The front desk and the staff in the lobby were great. I wish I could remember the 2 ladies at the desk that helped me with my room because they were amazing. The gentleman that worked in the lobby said hello to me everytime he saw me. Such a fine gentleman. The 2 young ladies working by the pool towel were ababsolutely the best. They need a raise. They bartender from Queens NY that worked at the Landshark was the best bartender in the whole place. Very personable, great personality, always smiling, and remembered my drink after meeting me only once. My friends were very impressed, they thought I was a regular there. Lol The restaurants in and around Margaritaville were good and we enjoyed just about every place we ate at. I can't wait to go back there. There were so many more things I wanted to do in and around the hotel. I hope the cleaning situation gets better. They need to add some cold water to the pool because it was way to warm to cool you off. I enjoyed myself and so did my friends. We will definitely be back soon with more friends. "

"We first stayed at Ocean Villas about six years ago and found it an excellent value for clean, basic accommodations near the beach. This time, we found the facility had gotten a nice exterior facelift, and the rooms were as before clean and serviceable. We had a pleasant and comfortable stay. Rooms have good-sized refrigerators, microwaves, sinks, and basic dishes. Beds are comfortable. Some rooms are much smaller than others for the same number of guests. Our room had only one small bedside lamp for lighting, though we found a second small reading lamp in the closet. There's a nice pool area with lounge chairs. There is no housekeeping (though one can have towels replaced by leaving them outside), and the office is only open briefly around check-in and check-out times (lockbox arrangements are made for those arriving later). Unfortunately, the price has increased significantly, while the facilities and service remain at the budget-hotel level, so the value for the money is not as good as in the past."

"This was my first time using the hotel, but the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. There's a fairly large shopping mall right in front of the hotel, so you'll be able to find anything you forget. There are also restaurants, a food court, and a Target, so it's perfectly adequate. The room was spacious and comfortable, but there was trash under the sofa, likely from previous guests, so it seemed like it wasn't very well kept. That was disappointing, but other than that I was happy with the service and location."

"The people were very kind and helpful.  However , it was 3$ for a small bottle of water in your room.  The toilet had the seat up and appeared to have been used and not cleaned for new guests.  The beds were very nice and for the most part cleaning was good.  Shower head leaked, shampoo dispenser was almost empty as well as the others.  And one small drink in the bar cost $16 and it was not well done.  It had no lime and the tonic was flat.  I was unhappy that I paid more than an airplane price for something far worse. So bottom line attention to detail and lower cost for amenities or get much better quality."

"I booked two rooms for my daughter's birthday. The first disappointment was the massage at the spa. We arrived 10 minutes late because there was no one in the luggage room. We had to wait about 20 minutes until someone arrived. The masseuse told me my massage would only last 20 minutes because of the delay (I had paid for a 50-minute massage), but she only gave me 15 minutes. When we returned to our rooms, there was no one at reception to give us our hand luggage either. We called our room to ask them to bring our backpacks. We waited 30 minutes and no one came. We went back down to reception and, after another 15-minute wait (again with no one there), they finally brought our backpacks. We went to our room to shower, as we had a dinner reservation at an Italian restaurant. The shower drain was clogged, and it was disgusting to shower with the water running. (They have old bathtubs) Towels were beige (Once were white). We have a nice dinner at the Italian restaurant, then we were at ****** for some time and went to our rooms to sleep, it was midnight. We were falling asleep when we heard a woman screaming louder and louder. We didn’t know what was going on… we waited and then the woman started to scream and said all kind of ****** words. We have a second show in the morning. So be ready to hear all kinds of things…"

"Our first stay at hotel 66 and this hotel complex was fantastic from arrival to leaving firstly on arrival the team at the door helped with luggage with kindness and respect a great start then George at the reception desk  another assist to the business kind helpful respectful always with a smile 😃 thank you 🙏 room was excellent not the best view but it was a basic room and far better than expected and it was immaculate again housekeeping great 👍 and wanted to help ,  breakfast again excellent on the first day exceptional and the young chef that likes football making omelettes again exceptional ( wearing a black chefs outfit ) kind respectful and thinking about customers needs again a great 👍 asset to any team thank you . On our second visit breakfast was a little more upside down 🙃 as it was so busy but still you could see the team in most was trying again great . The communal areas again immaculate- I’ve stayed now at the  Ritz , Conrad , Western , and Pier 66 is miles ahead . Thank you all for making our short stay so enjoyable and without doubt 10 out of 10  thank you Angelo Ianniello and Family stayed 26/12/2025 for two nights ."

The room was quite nice - sparkling clean! This is definitely the most important element for me, but this place didn't disappoint regarding cleanliness. One thing I found disappointing was that, while this is a solid place to have a family vacation, there isn't really a more quiet place to get some work done besides the desk in the guest room. The business center is right in the middle of the front lobby, which can sometimes get super loud. A quieter workspace area that is tucked away would be nice. One frustrating thing was the amount of gratuity tacked on to everything. We went to the Bar & Grill for some snacks and a beer one day, and despite only getting our order taken at the bar and one other person bringing out our food and drinks once, maybe twice, the resort has the audacity to add on an 18% service fee on top of the price automatically. I understand that inflation and cost of living are a problem, but it shouldn't give hotel chains like Hilton to pass on the responsibility of paying their employees to their customers. They should actually pay their people a fair wage. $40/day+tax for mandatory valet parking was also completely unnecessary. That being said, experience-wise, it's still a good place and seemed to be one of the lower-priced resorts in the area, but I hate how hotel chains tend to find ways to gouge just a little bit more money out of people around every corner.

I enjoyed my stay at Tru by Hilton in downtown Fort Lauderdale. The location was great. Downtown, easy access to everywhere, without feeling like you’re in the middle of a busy city. The staff was very warm and welcoming. Over all, the vibe of the place is very much like college dorm or summer camp for grown adults. I’d definitely stay here again. The free breakfast every morning was also a very nice addition.

Rocketstay is awful. Pain to use, slow, cumbersome, check in extraordinarily late so they can charge extra to check in early, extremely early check out. This place was advertised at $130/night, and at the end of the rocketstay fees it was $200/night. Not worth it.

2/12/26 In my experience, the customer service fell short of expectations and could benefit from noticeable improvement. A welcoming demeanor and simple courtesy—such as a genuine smile—can significantly enhance a guest’s experience. While I did not have particularly high expectations given the name “The Red Carpet Inn,” I still anticipated a reasonable standard of hospitality and upkeep. Unfortunately, the property did not fully meet those expectations. The overall odor within the facility was unpleasant and could certainly be addressed. Although the cleanliness was acceptable for an inn of this category, it lacked the freshness and attention to detail that would make guests feel comfortable. Aesthetically, the rooms appear outdated and in need of renovation. The addition of a few brightly colored furniture pieces seems to be an attempt to give the impression of recent remodeling; however, these accent pieces do little to disguise the overall condition of the space. The updates feel superficial rather than substantive—more cosmetic than structural. My wife and I only needed a place to rest for a few hours before catching a flight later that evening, and for that limited purpose it sufficed. However, I would not consider staying here for more than one night, and even that would be with hesitation. Additionally, the “closet” was not a true closet at all. It consisted merely of an exposed wall-mounted rod with no enclosure or doors, which further contributed to the unfinished and poorly designed feel of the room. Overall, while the property may serve as a very short-term stopover, there is significant room for improvement in customer service, atmosphere, and genuine modernization. Bright Spot would only be the Shuttle to the Airport that is included at checkout. This would be there saving grace.

This hotel was a distance from the Hollywood airport, but when I called and asked for a shuttle, a driver came within 20minutes to pick me up. He gave me rather poor directions as to where to meet him, so I waited and texted him off and on for another 20 minutes before I was actually picked up.I wasn't familiar with the airport, so I did the best I could with my two pieces of luggage. Once at the hotel, I had paid for a room with two queen bed, but told the front desk lady I really preferred a king bed.She told me she couldn't change the room because I paid through a third party.The manager offered to help me with my luggage and I then asked him if I could get a room with a king size bed after seeing several small, loud children in the room next to mine.He was very nice and placed me in a quiet room with a king size bed in the back of the hotel. I finally got some sleep after a long flight. There is a restaurant on the premises, but the only thing I could really order in the sandwich category was a delicious, thick hamburger that took over 35 minutes to serve.There was a comedian in the next room who wasn't funny and just three other people there and nobody else in the small restaurant.The service was slow and the humor was southern. The room was spacious, all the lights worked, and the bed was comfortable.The shower/tub area was ancient, but had quick hot water. I really can't recommend this hotel in good faith after all the inconvenienced I endured. During our trip through Florida, we had the pleasure of staying one night at the Ocean Reef Hotel, and it was truly a great experience. Upon arrival, we found the reception closed, but it wasn’t long before a very friendly lady came to assist us with check-in. She had just gone out to grab a bite to eat, which is completely understandable – everyone needs food! Once we got to our hotel room, we were pleased to find it clean, well-maintained, and above average in size. Although there were a few minor maintenance issues, what mattered most was that the beds were extremely comfortable and everything was spotless. After checking in, we went out for a meal, but upon returning, we discovered that the parking lot was nearly full, making it difficult to find a spot. Without even needing to ask, a very helpful staff member on the night shift immediately resolved the issue by assigning us a great parking space near the entrance. This thoughtful service made a huge difference. Throughout the night, this gentleman also conducted a round of checks, which gave us a great sense of security. The hotel itself was quiet, and we had a restful night's sleep. The bathroom facilities, including the toilet and shower, were also impeccably clean. In the morning, when we checked out, the same lady who helped us with check-in was there again, and once more, we were greeted with kindness and a friendly smile. This hotel is definitely a place I would return to during a Florida road trip. I highly recommend it and want to thank the staff for their excellent care. It’s absolutely a place to revisit.
