"Booked a pool-access room this time. The hotel is right by the pier on Koh Lipe, so close to the sea that the tide comes right up to the restaurant entrance. The room itself is quite new, and you can step out directly into the connecting pool. Adding an extra bed for a child cost 307 RMB (sofa bed + buffet breakfast), which was decent service. Right outside, to the right, are the pier and Koh Lipe's main shopping street. I'd definitely choose this hotel again for my next visit."

I really enjoyed the hotel's layout—it's only a five-minute walk to a 7-Eleven, which is super handy. The hotel's beach area is pretty small and often has boats around, so if you'd like to go snorkeling, I'd suggest walking about 10 minutes to the east side of the beach. For calm, beautiful turquoise water, head to the north tip of the island—it's about 30 minutes from the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The resort offers massage services, a diving club, and yoga classes. A quick note on the bungalow I stayed in: there was no hot water, quite a few mosquitoes, and the lighting was fairly dim since it's nestled among gardens and other houses.
