The restaurant is fairly priced, some dishes even cheaper than on larger beaches. Plus, there are restaurants walking distance from the hotel.
The staff is nice and can arrange transportation and bike rentals.

The resort has several pools, and the main infinity pool was even bigger than it looked in the photos. Everything is beautiful and spotless. After two days, we extended our stay by an extra day. The breakfasts are excellent. In the evenings, the poolside bars are open with pleasant music playing. In July, there were strong low tides, making swimming at the hotel beach a bit challenging.
!! It's better to arrange your transfer from Phuket independently from Bang Rong Pier. A one-way boat trip costs 400 baht per person (tickets can easily be bought at the pier, for example, for 1:30 PM, and you'll be on the other island by 2:00 PM). From there, you can take a taxi to the hotel (Bolt works) or use the hotel's paid transfer service.

"It feels like a brand new 8 villa resort. Or just perfectly maintained. A warm welcome at the pier for a complimentary 25 minute ride to the resort. Welcomed as if we were royals, by Bambie and her team at the resort. The villa had everything you wished for. A plunge pool with jacuzzi. An amazing sunrise view. And tasteful furniture and amazing bed. Every day the staff made sure it was spic and span. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. During our stay there was limited occupancy, but the resort was fully operational. The beach bar was open and so was the restaurant. Their Thai Seafood salad plus extra white rice was to die for: a light, but tasteful dinner.
Nothing to complaint we’re already looking forward to a next stay. Thanks Barbie and team, we wish you well!"

"Our room was absolutely gorgeous, really spacious and spotlessly clean. The jacuzzi bath was fabulous and the view from the resort was magical. The food in the restaurant was OK, there are other cheaper and tastier restaurants within walking distance though. We hired a bike for the day which was hassle free and cheaper than the rental place next door. The pool area was beautiful and we even saw a couple of water monitor lizards. The owner and staff are super friendly and helpful, I would 100% recommend this place to anyone who wants a quiet, relaxed and authentic Thai island experience."

"This hotel is located on a side street off the main road. We particularly enjoyed the friendly welcome. We had a standard room, which was very clean, had a safe, and fresh towels were provided daily if desired. It was a good size, and we were lucky enough to get a corner room, which meant we had an extra window and a small private terrace. The hotel is right on the beach, but also has two pools. Additionally, the hotel offers a free shuttle service to what is supposedly one of the most beautiful beaches on the island.
The hotel restaurant offers a very extensive breakfast buffet; the only downside is that the coffee machine takes a while. The food selection at the restaurant is also excellent.
For those who are very sensitive to noise: since there's a pier directly on the hotel beach, it's often used by scooter riders to zoom around – it's actually quite fun to try yourself! :) I generally recommend always having earplugs for Thailand (also for speedboats) – we were able to sleep perfectly well."

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Blue Bay Resort. The highlight was definitely the room with direct access to the pool—so convenient for a morning swim. The beach is great, and the complimentary canoes made it easy to get out on the water. We also loved the daily happy hour featuring smoothies and cocktails.
The only downsides were the restaurant, which was a little average, and the staff there struggled when it got busy. Also, note that the balcony is shared with the next room, so your neighbors can have a big impact on your experience. We were lucky to have friendly ones!"

This accommodation is set in the middle of a lush, jungle-like environment, offering a very peaceful and private atmosphere. The sound of running water adds to the calm setting in the common areas, and there are small touches like fish you can feed and hornbills you can observe, which make the experience feel special and connected to nature.
Sin is a kind and helpful host with a warm personality and a good sense of humour, which makes the stay even more enjoyable. The traditional Thai breakfast is delicious, as well as the fruits, especially the fresh mango.
There is also a large 15m infinity pool with a beautiful view, which is a great place to relax and take in the surroundings.
Overall, a calm and well-kept luxurious place, ideal if you are looking to disconnect and enjoy nature.

We spent a few fantastic days at Secret Garden Homestay and we can fully recommend this place! Everything was at the highest level – from the wonderful atmosphere, through comfortable accommodation, to the hospitality of the hosts.
The hotel is located in a quiet green area, which makes you really relax and feel the island's climate. The rooms are clean, spacious and very climate-friendly, and the proximity of the forest adds this unique charm to the place.
The biggest assets of Secret Garden Homestay are, however, – hosts hearty, helpful and always smiley.They were happy to advise us what was worth seeing at Koh Yao Yai, helped in the transportation organization and made sure that we didn't miss anything.
This is a place with the soul we would love to return to. If you are looking for a quiet corner in the surrounding nature, Secret Garden Homestay is the perfect choice!

Highlights
- The staff: Super friendly & helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. From the front desk, to restaurant waiting staff, to the housekeeping staff, to the managers… everyone seemed genuinely welcoming and there to support our every need.
- Ambience: The hotel was beautiful - from the pool & restaurant with their gorgeous sea view, to the thoughtfully decorated clean & bright rooms, to the gorgeous spa, everything felt designed to help you relax and unwind in peaceful surroundings. We loved the vintage cars parked outside too… and the beautiful flowers all around… The whole place was just 🤩
Other things we loved:
- It was my partner’s birthday & they put a cake in the room for us
- The food & drinks at the restaurant were delicious
- The musicians (restaurant had live music) were great
- The spa was beautiful & we both enjoyed a wonderfully relaxing massage there
- Easy to arrange transport (scooter rental right next door & local taxis available for getting back to the pier)
Areas for improvement:
- The pool in the room needed some maintenance, specifically the top rung of the ladder was missing, which made it difficult to enter and exit the pool

I visited over a weekend with my wife and three daughters. We booked a family beach villa and had a beautiful stay. Please note, that for those who are sensitive to mosquitoes, the rooms are infested with them. The property does their best in providing repellents of different types but good to know ahead of time. Also, to note, the family villa is one large open room with two king beds; perfect for families with small kids but not for two couples. The property’s access to the beach is ideal. We experienced the complimentary kayaking, and our long boat ride came to pick us up right off the private beach. The gardens, the swimming pool (1.2mtr), and the beach access makes It ideal for families with young children.

The hotel is not so big but very cute. Thai style room and with super welcomed stuff, they are so polite! Breakfast is nice, you have a lot of choice, western and Thai. I like to eat dinner here and watching sunset. The price is expensive then the local restaurant but also reasonable, and the taste is very good. Tiki bar has happy hour from 5-7pm. Perfect time to watch sunset. The beach and pool never crowded, a perfect place for get away and relaxing. In the afternoon there are a lot of crabs to catch. There are 3 very cute dogs in this resort. If you want to have a quiet vacation and only enjoy, relaxing, I recommend this hotel.

We would have liked to have stayed longer. We have never had such friendly staff. They even helped us rent a scooter and drove us there personally and we didn't have to worry about taking the scooter away. In general they were very helpful and we were given a warm welcome. The room was also super clean and we slept in very comfortable beds. If we come to Ko Yao Noi again, we would come back here straight away. Really a recommendation! Thank you for everything :)

Excellent beachfront location with beautiful views. Guests can walk down to explore marine life and mangrove forests at low tide.
The bungalows offer high privacy. The layout of the accommodation is interesting, with handcrafted details in the decor, providing a sense of tranquility and closeness to nature.
The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, the linens are of good quality, the air conditioning is new and cool, and there is a smart TV.
The bathroom has separate toilet and shower areas.
The swimming pool is located next to the beach.
Cons:
The hotel is far from the main pier, requiring a 25-minute motorbike ride.
Restaurants around the hotel are quite difficult to find.
During the stay, there was only 1 staff member providing service.
The cafe in front of the hotel was closed. The hotel restaurant has a limited menu and a 1-hour wait for food.
Facilities such as the beach bar were in a state of disrepair. Many rooms were closed and in a state of disrepair.

I recently stayed at Niramaya Villa & Wellness, and it was a fantastic experience. The staff were incredibly kind and friendly, always ready to assist with booking boat trips and providing useful information about the island.
The room we stayed in was huge, offering plenty of space for families with kids, which made our stay comfortable. One of the highlights was the private pool in our villa, complete with an outdoor shower—such a luxury!
Despite the premium feel of the villa, the price was very reasonable. This combination of luxury and affordability makes me want to return again in the future.

We had a fantastic time for a couple of nights. We were picked up at the speedboat pier, luggage brought for us to the hotel room, greeted with a welcome drink even before checking in, and able to enjoy the remote location and quiet vibe of the hotel. The swimming pool offers a great view, and was rarely in use.
This is a very well run, newly built, clean and well serviced hotel. We did not experience any resort activities, nor were we offered any. We hired a scooter for a day, directly at the hotel, at the cost of 300baht. This was a fantastic way to go exploring!
Food at the restaurant was very good, although not necessarily fine dining by western standards. Occasionally, some dishes would be unavailable due to missing ingredients, such as avocados - but I guess that is how it is to live on an island!
Otherwise a fantastic stay, with staff that really try their hardest for you. It was lovely.
