We had a wonderful stay at Kupu Kupu Phangan and can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. The grounds are beautiful, peaceful, and very well-maintained—ideal for relaxation and well-being.
A very special thank you goes to the fantastic team, especially Bank, AD, Micky, San, Aek, Lin, Ziny, Nonoe, and Foam. Everyone was always warm, attentive, and incredibly friendly.
We were particularly touched by the loving and patient way our son was treated. As a family, we felt welcome from the very first moment.
We would love to return and wholeheartedly recommend Kupu Kupu Phangan.

JorborI was very excited to stay at this hotel. The room had a wonderful atmosphere, and I was fortunate to receive a room with a high ceiling, which made the space feel even more spacious and airy. The room was also very clean. The only downside was that after spending some time in the room or using the bathroom, a strong sewage odor began to come from the drain. Even with the toilet lid closed, the smell was still quite unpleasant.
In terms of transportation, everything was very convenient. You can contact the lobby to arrange transfers around Koh Phangan (for an additional fee). Guests can also access the swimming pool and certain services at other hotels within the same group (additional charges may apply), which makes getting around easier and adds more activities to enjoy.
As for the breakfast buffet, there was a wide variety of options available. However, most of the dishes were quite cold, likely because they had been left out for some time. Only the egg station served freshly cooked and warm food.

Anonymous UserSo, the pros:
Price
Pick-up from the ferry
There's a pool and a diving school
The hotel is clean
Modern decor
Decent air conditioning
There's a great snorkeling beach nearby, 6 minutes by scooter
7-11 is close by
Cons:
Far from the island's nightlife
No beach towels, only in the room and by the pool
No staff after 5 PM
Overall, for minimal money, it's a decent hotel surrounded by forest. If you rent a scooter, it's excellent.

Beautifully maintained and peaceful bungalows in a garden right on the beach.
The staff is helpful (thank you, Sunny!) and offers great advice.
The bungalow has storage space. The bedding is very comfortable. A quick rinse with water before entering.
Towels are changed daily.
The beach is simply magnificent. There are massage services and restaurants.
We stayed for 5 days... I would definitely go back.

We had an amazing time there. I really have nothing bad to say about it.
First of all- the stuff. Always welcoming you with a smile and treating you with a personal attention. for example we told them we’re going to the beach and they offered us to borrow snorkeling masks for free. Also I got hurt in my leg and they really helped me to bandage it. The most appreciated thing is that they heard our ferry back is at noon so they offered us late check out for free!
Beside that, the room is very clean, the view to the beach from the balcony is a big wow. the coffee at breakfast is just perfect.
Thank you so much guys ♥️♥️♥️ hope to come back someday.

Guest UserGreat stay, all of the staff were hard working, and friendly but Catalina, Moe and Aaron were exceptional and a credit to the team. Good location, comfortable room, big pool, plenty of beds, direct access to the beach, fabulous sunsets snd a short walk to Haadrin Walking Street, restaurants and its beach. The only negative was that smoking was permitted around the pool, it would’ve been a more pleasant experience if there were smoking and none smoking areas and it was enforced by staff.

Guest UserBest hotel I've ever stayed at in my life! Don't hesitate for a second! How can I put it, everything is perfect! I've stayed there twice: the first time in a triple room, which was superb, and the second time in an economy room (the cheapest). The bed wasn't super comfortable, but I just opened the door and I was at the pool. It's not a huge hotel, so it's never overbooked! But there are enough people to create a nice atmosphere. The restaurant is really, really good; I highly recommend the 'pad kra pao' with pork! The staff are incredibly kind! You can even rent scooters at the front desk, and the owner provides information on absolutely all possible activities to do on the island. He'll book everything for you, whether it's taxis, activities, ferries, festivals, Muay Thai fights, and most importantly, he doesn't rip you off at all on prices. We checked online every time, and there were zero scams. They are truly darlings! What more can I say about the pool? It's magnificent, with breathtaking sunset views, and with the beach right in front, you can borrow paddles and kayaks for free. The ONLY drawback of this hotel is that it's not in the city center, but there's not really much point in going to the city center anyway. Just go to the festivals for fun and stay at the hotel the rest of the time. And if you do want to go to the city center or visit other beaches, you can rent scooters.

Anonymous UserWe had a pleasant stay at Beach Club by Haadtien, but with mixed feelings.
The location is beautiful: a lovely bay in a peaceful setting. The room itself was fine and we appreciated the daily fresh towels (both for the bathroom and the beach/pool) as well as the complimentary bottled water. The food in the restaurant is also good, although we found it relatively expensive by Thai standards.
At the same time there are several aspects that, especially given the price of the hotel, should be better. The sound insulation is very poor: you can literally understand what your neighbours are saying, and music as well as footsteps from the rooms above or adjacent are clearly audible. This makes getting a good night’s sleep more a matter of luck than comfort.
In addition, the sliding door to the balcony did not close properly, which affects both comfort and the efficiency of the air conditioning which I thought was a pity, especially on an island where energy use should be taken seriously.
Housekeeping and general maintenance could also be improved. In this price range, you would not expect to find squashed mosquitoes on the walls. The property and the room show signs of wear and tear in several places, such as broken tiles and damage to the floor. There was also quite a bit of plastic on the beach, although we realise this may not be entirely within the hotel’s control.
The shuttle service to the village is a nice addition, but having to reserve it a day in advance makes it less flexible than you would hope.
Overall conclusion:
A beautifully located hotel with a good foundation, but it falls short in several important areas given the price. For us, this would be a reason to consider other options next time. Overall, we did not feel it was worth the money.

71/60大BIs a small resort hide just offside of the road.
To enter wirh your car need careful driving as it is narrow and rough.
Only few parking lot and should be enough afterall not too many drive a car in the island.
Check in/out is easy.
Speak good enough.
Room at first glance is lovely but the first night is a nightmare since a lot of mosquitoes inbthe room and I need to but a mosquito coil to kill them and also the smoke killed us too.
Aftet that, it is fine and evan though sometimes we may be bitten agian by the strong mosquitoes.
No breakfast but you can use their utensils such as kettle, hot plate, microwave to cook.
30Thb to wash and a drying rack is located at the back of the room with sufficient hanger to hang and dry your clothes.
A small swimming pool but I would dare to try.
Walking distance to the night market/food stall.
