"Nice hotel and easy to walk around city to restaurants n see around town"

"Excellent welcome at this resort; the bungalows are very nice and all boast sea views. The beach is superb, and the sea is warm and quite calm. The staff are very kind and helpful. The restaurant offers more than fair prices for excellent quality. I highly recommend eating there; the price difference compared to the village is negligible when you factor in taxi costs and tips. The breakfast was varied, although during low season it wasn't a buffet, but anything you wanted was served to you. We did miss fresh bread, only receiving toast, but that's just our preference. Regarding the negatives: yes, off-season means better prices. However, the pools were inaccessible despite being advertised as open upon our arrival. The first one was undergoing full renovation. The second was accessible, but with workers operating nearby, it was impossible to stay there. I believe that since many beachfront bungalows were available, an upgrade would have been appropriate to compensate for the pool situation. There were no concrete suggestions offered upon arrival for excursions or tours; we weren't guided at all. I suspect the manager selectively engages with guests for discussions and offers, as we saw him assisting other clients with excursions, yet he didn't say a single word to us upon our departure, despite being right next to us. As for the surroundings, everything is within walking distance. Otherwise, a scooter costs 200 THB per day, while a tuk-tuk is 50 THB per person per ride, which can quickly add up compared to a scooter."

"My parents really like it. The nearby restaurants are delicious. Sitting by the sea, the atmosphere is very good, quiet and very chill. The staff also pays attention to details. When they saw that my mother had leg pain, they changed the room to the lower floor for her. 🩷🩷❤️❤️❤️ I recommend you to come and stay."

"All new rooms, very pleasant, ideally located on the island, nothing to reiterate. A huge heartbeat for staff and boss, adorable, super serviable and welcoming: they have answered all our requests, always doing what is necessary to meet us, before, during and even after our stay: My father lost his bag with passport and bank cards by joining our next hotel. The boss contacted all people who crossed us (tub tuk driver, port, boat manager and van company) to find him, and he found him!!!! He also generously dealed with sending it to our next hotel, so that we can get it back quickly and continue our journey without any problems. I absolutely recommend, a great thank you all !!!!!"

"We stayed at Sevenseas Resort for 3 nights with high expectations, hoping it would be as beautiful as the photos. While the resort still has its charm, it felt quite dated—especially the lobby and our room, which clearly lacked proper maintenance. For the price, it was disappointing… sticky floors, a TV that didn’t work, and WiFi that barely existed. Even the amenities and appliances felt more like a student dorm than a luxury stay. Breakfast was another letdown—cold food, very limited options, and not the quality you’d expect for what you’re paying. That said, the service truly stood out. The staff were incredibly warm and attentive, especially Jeeda—such a lovely soul who made a real difference to our stay. In the end, what saved the experience was the island itself—absolutely stunning, with beautiful snorkeling right in front of the resort."

"Shoenes Resort. You can relax well, it is quiet on the shoe beach. All you have brought in the room is all you have brought. Only on mucks you need to be careful, as the tuers to the toilet are not sufficiently close and there can fly from outside mucks. The staff is very friendly and helpful."

"This is a good hotel with a perfect location, right on the beach, and some rooms with a sea view. It's absolutely fantastic. The grounds are well-maintained and clean, with trash bins scattered throughout the resort and plenty of trees, which is great for keeping it cool. It's an older hotel, but it's clearly been painted and restored, and it's kept clean and tidy. There's a mosque nearby, and a mullah sings three times a day. The dogs sing along with him, which might be inconvenient for some, and some won't even hear him, but that's a common problem with this island, and there are plenty of dogs all over the island. The pool is clean and safe for swimming. Footwash stations are also available throughout the grounds, and there's a shower by the pool. Water is provided daily, and the rooms are cleaned daily. The rooms have a kettle and coffee maker, as well as a safe. There are no issues with water, showers, or toilets. The air conditioners are new and quiet. The staff is excellent, polite, and friendly; we've had no problems. Breakfast is a buffet, as is typical in Thailand (rice, fried eggs, omelettes, fruit, vegetables, fried sausages, fried bacon, pancakes, and cereal with milk). There's also a barbecue in the lobby for an additional fee (meat kebabs, seafood kebabs—very convenient, no need to walk anywhere). You can rent a bike. Some downsides: there aren't enough sun loungers, the lighting along the path at night is dim, and a sign at the entrance with lighting wouldn't hurt. The stairs to the second floor should be checked; some need replacing; they could be problematic for larger people. It's also advisable to spray the rooms for mosquitoes. There's a pond nearby. Overall, the hotel is excellent and highly recommended. Everything is close by, no need to walk anywhere: wake up, have breakfast, swim, relax, and bars and shops are a 2-minute walk away. Although there are dogs, they're no problem; they're very friendly and will meet you at the pier and walk you back."
