"This hotel is new, very clean, and affordable for a family trip to Panglao Island. The staff are friendly and accommodating. It's about a 10-minute Tuk Tuk ride to Alona Beach and only around 5 minutes to a lovely resort called Oceanica, where we paid for a day pass. If you're looking for some exercise, you can also take a 15-minute walk to Libaong White Beach early in the morning. While the hotel isn't located in the center, there are always Tuk Tuks waiting outside, and jeepneys are available if you want to go to Tagbilaran. For breakfast, we paid 350 pesos per adult, with kids charged half price. They offer both Filipino and Western dishes, but we especially loved the ”Champorado,” a porridge made with pure cacao. Everything is definitely worth the price, and I would certainly stay here again on my next trip to Panglao."

"Pros - the overall standard isn’t far off the lines of JW Marriot in the Maldives - great views from the sea view villa - attentive staff who are more than happy to help. - the beach is is combed every day and free from litter. - the ocean is shallow far out making it ideal for children Cons - A woeful number of loungers. You can’t get on one at all for the day if you aren’t up early enough. - Hit and miss food and room service ends at 21:30 - Drones and people filming on the beach making it surprisingly difficult to relax. - Buffet is just okay.. for example the only fruit available is papaya and watermelon."

"I lived in a mixed gender dormitory this time, I don't know much about other room types. The mixed gender dormitory is still very good, and I feel very quiet. If my English is good, I can make many overseas friends. The hotel feels very quiet and welcoming. Although the pool is small, I still use it for a long time and hope that I can pass SSI Level 1! I slowly started to like to travel, and slowly got used to travel alone. The hotel's Guest Book is especially heart-warming. Many tourists and friends have their best memories in Natura Vista. I hope the hotel will be better and welcome more and more overseas friends!"

"We were there from 26.12.24 to 30.12.24 and then due to bad weather on Barakai Island we extended it to 02.01.25. A nice family hotel. So new that the taxi driver who took us from the airport didn't know it. This hotel is for a quiet stay. All the fun at ”Alona Beach” is a 15-minute drive away. Taxi, tricycle, everything costs about the same ~ 200-250 pesos. There is a bike rental in the hotel itself. 500 pesos/day. Maybe you can find cheaper, but the bikes are new and it was so convenient for us. By the way, all the photos that are presented are real: rooms, pool, even a bike. Accommodation with breakfast (from 7 to 10). Quite tasty breakfasts, though the coffee is not very good, but I'm being picky here. Apart from breakfasts, we didn't eat at the hotel, fortunately there are a couple of decent restaurants nearby. The pool is clean, there is a shower. The rooms are cleaned on request (you need to hang up a card). There is a refrigerator, the air conditioner works, there is a fan above the bed. By the way, it is very convenient, we almost never turned on the air conditioner. The contingent is different: Koreans, Russians, Europeans. There are only 15 rooms. I can safely recommend it. I gave fours everywhere, because there is always something to strive for."

"What an amazing find! Location is quiet with good rooms and lots to do there. The views from the restaurant are fantastic and the food is also excellent. The breakfast is nice and we had an early check out at 4am and they even left a breakfast for us to take without us asking which was a lovely touch! The shop is great with local gifts made on site and the coconut ice cream is so so so good (spicy ginger especially amazing)! The rooms are a great size and comfy with good AC. Hot water wasn’t great but after a day in the sun a colder shower was welcome. The only thing lacking here is a beach but there are drivers outside the farm to take you around or they can organise a trip/ scooter rental. In this price range, this is one of the best places we’ve stayed. Will definitely be back. Thank you"

"Hotel is right in front of the beach. Even tho there is not much to do in the beach, there are some interesting restaurants if you know how to find them. First hotel to have a toilet seat, tho the toilet still gets smelly. Breakfast included is okay, but appreciated. Staff is friendly. Find your motorbike from elsewhere cause these ones are a bit too pricey. Overall nice place."

"We had the most amazing stay here at the Secret Garden Resort. We stayed in a lodge with private pool which was perfect. Nothing is overly fancy but everything is perfectly functional. Restaurant on site sells pasta and usual Philippino food. Breakfast is from a set menu, not a buffet. Perfectly fine. Staff were friendly, helpful and just a whatsapp message away if you needed anything. Not too far from Alona Beach, the airport or Tagbilaran Port so it was the perfect location for us. We were honestly sad to leave after 7 nights here and already want to come back!"

"The best thing about the place was the very friendly owner. Any question I had she answered patiently. I wanted to book a day tour and she literally did everything for me and had it ready. Same when I wanted to go diving. A sweet and helpful woman. The place’s location is right on the water. A beautiful place to watch the sunset. But, it is very far from anything and the road nearby is pretty terrible. The room was nice (they upgraded me for free), but the WiFi didn’t work in the room and there were many ants in the bathroom when I first arrived. AC was great. Bed was great. Not really any staff around ever which was kind of weird to be honest. The place has its ups and downs but owner is so lovely."
