"Just like everyone says, Nagarkot truly is the perfect little escape from the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu. Even during the monsoon season, the mountain views and fresh air were incredible. At 7 AM, it was often misty and cloudy, but then the sun would pop out intermittently in the afternoon. The rain mostly fell at night, which was great for cooling things down – coming here to escape the summer heat felt like amazing value for money! We stayed for three days. We almost canceled our trip before coming because when we called the front desk, they said they hadn't seen snow-capped mountains for the past month. But to our surprise, we suddenly saw them on the afternoon of the second day! My parents were absolutely thrilled. The room was clean, and the 1080P TV had Netflix and YouTube. The restaurant was also great! The menu had just been updated (talk about lucky, right?), with a variety of international dishes, so our 'Chinese stomachs' had no problem finding delicious food. The staff were all young and energetic; they occasionally made small mistakes, but they were incredibly attentive and took great care of us. On our last morning, at 8 AM, I attended a sound healing session. This was my fourth time experiencing it, but the therapist at Soaltee surprised me once again – their storytelling and atmosphere creation were so powerful, truly taking us on an amazing journey. And I absolutely have to mention the jacuzzi! We came during the monsoon, on weekdays, and in the off-season, so we often had it all to ourselves. Soaking in the hot water while looking out at the distant mountains and greenery was truly sublime! My mom is usually very picky about holiday destinations. Before the trip, I was worried she'd find Nepal too underdeveloped. But this time, she actually took the initiative to recommend Nepal and Soaltee to her best friends! So, a huge thank you to Soaltee for making my parents' trip to Nepal anything but a wash-out, haha. P.S. I heard Nagarkot has many great hiking trails, but with parents in their 60s, we didn't bother. We stayed at the hotel for three days and would go for a stroll every afternoon. About 20 minutes from the hotel, you can walk through nearby villages. My dad even bought a free-range chicken from a local family and had it braised and boiled at a guesthouse in town!"

"The location is unique with a great terrace and a wonderful view of the surroundings - weather permitting. 😅 The rooms are a bit run down in places, especially the bathroom, and could use a refresh. From the hotel, you can take short hikes in the area. You'll need a car or a driver to get there. The hotel helps with arranging transportation, including trips around the area. The staff is very courteous and helpful. The food at the accommodation is highly recommended!"

"Best luxury hotel in Nagarkot. Booked this hotel to celebrate my husband birthday and after our EBC Trek. We stayed 3 nights and spent our time resting in the room, watching Netflix. The room was so cozy. Bed was comfy. The hot water jacuzzi was god sent. After using the jacuzzi for 20 mins, the body felt so relaxed. I also went for their trekker massage and Gold facial. It was the best experience ever. Hot water heater works perfectly well. Breakfast was well spread with Asian and Indian fusion cruisine. The ala carte menus was god sent with so many varieties of snacks, alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks, different varieties of cruisine from Asian, western. You name it, they have it. And room services can be done via online. Even guest can schedule their room cleaning services via online. Booking of massage/ facial are done via online too. Every morning, I catch the sunset at our balcony. It was so magically beautiful. Highly recommended hotel!!"

"They are in a location where its very difficult to return from, unless you use their service of 4500npr to at least to return to main kathmandu for 2pax. with their pricing, and the guests count they usually have, they can easily afford a regular shuttle bus or transport, that they can provide which pick/drop visitors to a certain main location on Kathmandu. otherwise all good"

"It's a 20-30 minute walk from Nagarkot bus stop, but the view from the hotel balcony is excellent. If you want to see the Himalayas and the sunrise together, and relax, I think this is a good choice. In early May, I was lucky enough to have clear weather early in the morning and could see the Himalayas very well. There's also a spa, pool, and restaurant, giving it a resort feel. The staff are very kind and helpful, even with my broken English."

"What a stay! Wow, this hotel blew our expectations out of the water. From the moment we arrived, the location was beautiful overlooking the hills, valley, and mountains on a clear day. The atmosphere was so warm and welcoming, it was a delight to chat to the owner and be in his company. He offered us tea leaves fresh from the garden, and sat with us chatting away on a number of ocassions, Immediately we extended our stay by another night, as did another 3 people who were staying there. The place is very clean, the beds very comfy, and the rooms a great size, with hot water in specific hours each day. Also would love to recommend the lemon and honey tea, with wild honey. What a treat! More of a homestay welcome than a hotel, go there, you will definitely extend your stay. We will be back again to stay and throw some more acrobatics :D"

"We absolutely loved our stay here! The hotel is charming, with cozy wooden interiors that keep you warm and comfortable. The best part is the outdoor area—it’s so pretty, filled with flower pots and little nooks to just sit back and enjoy the quiet mountain atmosphere. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were super friendly and always ready to help. A wonderful place to relax and enjoy Nagarkot.🩷"

"To us, this was the most stunning view I have ever seen, in the right was the sunrise and in front of us was an ocean of clouds one in front of another on the top of a village on a valley, and the left of the hotel were the Himalayan mountains wearing their white pointed hats. The hotel rooms were believed to be newly renovated although they did not tell us so. The reason of our feeling came from the neat and new shower heads, and taps, etc. etc.. Our rooms were big enough and we can enjoy the sun rise from the room balcony."

"It is about a 2-minute walk from the end of the local bus from Bhaktapur. Access to the city center is better than any hotel. The entrance is a little confusing. The room is very spacious and clean, the wash basin, shower, toilet, all water pressure is strong, and hot water comes out. There is no heating facility, but there is no problem because the futon is neat. Both dinner and breakfast were substantial, and Talcalidalbert was quite delicious even though I ate in Nepal. The mother is also very kind."
