I am extremely disappointed with my stay at this hotel. Honestly, this is one of the worst hotels I have ever experienced in my life. First of all, the bed is unbelievably hard — it feels more like sleeping on a wooden board than a mattress. On top of that, the air conditioning is extremely noisy, making it almost impossible to fall asleep or stay asleep throughout the night. What made it even worse is the pillows. They are excessively hard and uncomfortably high, causing serious neck discomfort. I genuinely do not understand how any guest is expected to get a proper rest under these conditions. I even called the front desk to request a different pillow, but was told that all pillows are the same and cannot be changed. This kind of response is completely unacceptable for any hotel that claims to provide comfort and service. Overall, this stay was a terrible experience. I will definitely not return, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who values a good night’s sleep. ------------------------------- Saya sangat kecewa dengan pengalaman menginap di hotel ini. The capsule hotel is managed by an elderly couple. The reviews were mixed, between they're being nice vs being mean. What about how I thought? ”They're being very kind and trying hard to run the business for travellers convenience”. It's never easy to run businesses and it's not a charity so some may think if youre in business you should be at least act like a pro. For those who said that..then can you be one nice customer to the business owners? Not to forget..they're elderly, yet they did their best to help you with your stay with certain in house rules, which is manageable by the crowds they're having - solo/friends travellers - gamersalike Personally chat and understand that they're constantly tired and wired to the place and it's a very tiring job. Leave some kindness to the world and be kind to people around us, you will find wonderfulness. The rest I'll leave it up to yourself to judge.

Chance to experience first class suites on airplane with full king size bed without paying a premium. This is the place where you should go with family! Small hotel with 2x Boeing 747 cargo planes converted into suites. Each plane comes with 10 rooms and hotel building block has another 20+ rooms. With less than 50 rooms, you won’t experience over crowding like other hotels with 100+ rooms. Other words quiet and more privacy. Which gives you the premium feel. Not to mention the high end finishing in common areas and in room. 5 star quality hotel in a secluded area which you rarely can find. Other than the airplanes main attraction, the children water park playground pool was a blast for the children. They also have 4 different swimming pools located at ground floor and 3rd floor. Children pool, beach pool with real sea white sand, adult pool, and jacuzzi pool. Food option was very limited. 1 Japanese restaurant in hotel and 1 Chinese restaurant outside of hotel, walking distance a stone throw away. Each room comes with 2 pax complimentary Japanese Ala carte breakfast. Airplane suite rooms design is too low the ceiling to floor height. At 178 cms I need to bend my head 70% of the time. Knocked my head a dozen times due to low height ceiling. Unsuitable for 175 cms and above height. Is like walking in hobbiton house or some tight cramped cave. Take note for slightly above average height people. Definitely not for foreigners. Phone in room wasn’t working. Could call front desk and house keeping. Had to manually walk out to front desk to ask for assistance. 90% of hotel staff cannot speak English. Security guard, cleaners, and pool towel boy. You’ll definitely have a tough time if you cannot communicate in Bahasa Malaysia. Only front desk staffs could speak English. Maybe their market cater for local Malaysians who speaks Bahasa only. Very poor directions. No signage at all for hotel and lobby. No hotel staff at lobby most of the time. They have 2 wings of lobby. A little confusing. All the Grab drivers got lost as it’s a new area. Use Chao Shan Lou restaurant as pick up and destination in Grab app. Check in was at 1st floor. You need to ask around and pray someone is at lobby to inform you. Don’t feel very welcome from first impression. Management ought to do something about this. Had bad experience with hotel cleaner at toilet in lobby area. Wet floor from washing toilets, the water flow out to common area outside of toilet. Both my wife and I slipped and almost fell. Very slippery fall hazard. Cleaner didn’t place wet floor signage at all when floors were still wet. On black marble tiles you cannot see the water. Management should look into their cleaning policies. This could have been very bad if it was an elderly who fell. Safety of guest must be the utmost priority. Plenty of parking around as all the shop houses within vicinity are still empty vacant.

Very convenient location with walking distance to Jaya Grocer, 7-11 and even 南阳街(at night). Slept very well in the bed and loved the blanket.

Room was comfortable with a spacious bed. Toilet was disappointing though. The shower had a foul smell and water pressure was bad. The toilet bowl flushing was bad and couldn't fully flush

The stay was amazing! One of the cleanest airbnb i ever went to. Checking in at midnight can be a bit scary for girls. The carpark to the room is quite far, and the corridor can be quite dark.

I had a pleasant stay at Miico Hotel @ Mount Austin. For the price, it offers excellent value for money. The room was surprisingly spacious and came with two comfortable queen-size beds, making it perfect for families or small groups. The air conditioning was strong and kept the room cool throughout the stay, which was much appreciated. The instant water heater worked well with consistent hot water, and all the lights and room facilities were in good working condition. Another nice touch was the lobby, where guests can enjoy complimentary drinking water, which is convenient after a long day out. Overall, if you're looking for a clean, comfortable, and affordable place to stay in the Mount Austin area, Miico Hotel is a great choice. I would definitely consider staying here again.

The hotel location is easy to access. No convenient store or minimart near to the hotel unless you drive to opporsite road, but no worries as there is vending machine at hotel lobby if you need to get some drinks or snacks. Fast check-in, room is clean and spacious. The room isn't well soundproofed, if you're sensitive to noise, you can bring your own earplugs.
