"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at KSL Hot Spring Resort! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and comfortable. Our room was spacious, spotless and well-maintained. The air-conditioning worked perfectly, keeping the room cool and refreshing even on hot days. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the pillows and linens were soft and clean, ensuring a restful night’s sleep.
The staff at KSL Hot Spring Resort were friendly, attentive and always willing to help with any request, which made our stay completely hassle-free. The carpark was convenient and easy to access, making arrival and departure stress-free. Add on, the swimming pool is shared with other residents and the water was cold.
Overall, our experience at KSL Hot Spring Resort was pleasant and comfortable but we would note that this hotel may not be suitable for guests with very high expectations. It’s perfect for those looking for a simple, relaxing getaway without expecting luxury. The combination of clean and comfortable rooms, relaxing hot springs, convenient carpark and warm hospitality made our stay memorable. No convenient store or minimart near to the hotel unless you drive to opporsite road, but no worries as there is vending machine at hotel lobby if you need to get some drinks or snacks. Hotel toilet door is faulty, cannot close tight...
Hoping to have more storage areas for toiletries. The sink don't have space to even place rinsing mouth cup.
Also the embedded hair dryer when turn on emits bit of smoke, I forgotten to inform reception when check out."

"Nothing obvious stood out for the room's cleanliness, so it works for a room at this budget.
Hotel is reasonably priced with a bigger sized room, which helps the comfort levels when staying in it. The toilet being bigger helps since there is more separation between the wet and the dry areas.
I thought that choosing a slightly out of the way location would relief traffic headaches but that was apparently not the case, guess the traffic around the Mount Austin area cannot be beaten so easily.
The hotel seems t only has the option of self check in and out via a machine just outside of the premises, but it can be a privacy concern when checking in at night, because the screen is so big and bright, and is flashing details for the world to see.
The screen should really be smaller or have varying brightness according to the surroundings. Or somehow flipped 90 degress so it does not face the street. (Photo taken from the hotel's Google map)"

"Positive Feedback
1. Location was superb, easy access to the mall.
2. Room is fully equipped with induction hob, microwave, fridge, kettle, dining plates, utensils, mugs, iron and iron board .
3. Room is spacious, bedroom, living room and dining room.
Negative Feedback:
1. Staff at the counter should be trained with customer service. No greetings nor smile during check-in.
2. Toilet has very bad smell. The edge of the shower room is slimy, probably not cleaned properly.
3 Deodorants were supplied in both the toilet as well as the bedroom but unfortunately all of them were empty (see pictures)
5. Toilet ventilation vent is dusty and drop of dusts occasionally fell onto us or the wash basin.
6. The iron provided isn’t safe for use as wires are exposed which is a SAFETY HAZARD (see picture). Someone might get electrocuted.
7. TV was provided but no ‘Live TV’ available as it always showed ‘No Signal’ (see picture).
8. ‘House Rules’ indicate ‘No eating and drinking in the room’ but the room is fully equipped with the dining cutleries/utensils and cooking equipment (see picture). So, is eating and drinking allowed?
9. In the bedroom, there is this thing hanging directly above the bed. Not sure what it is but, to me, it’s of no use.
We will definitely stay here again because of the location and the spacious room. If the negative feedback can be addressed, it would be a bonus."

"I booked a queen room with window but was not expecting it to be so small. First time staying here and probably also my last time. While basic amenities such as towel and toiletries are provided, my only gripe is that the sound proofing is really bad. Every night, I could hear people walking past, closing and opening their room doors, chattering and even vehicles noises along the roads outside the hotel. The bed provided is also very soft and not very comfortable. So sleeping might be an issue for those who need quietness. The good side is, drinking water and some snacks are provided at the lobby for guests use."

LLim Yap SengThe hotel is well maintained and the room is clean and quiet. It is also quite large at 25m².The staff are friendly and professional. The breakfast is basic but adequate. VIP parking is 50 ringgit ...just outside the lobby and sheltered. Parking away from tbe lobby is 30 ringgit but not sheltered. There is another carpark in the basement which is free for hotel guests. There is a big supermarket and a Mr DIY at basement 1. There are many eateries and restaurants around the hotel...and I really mean many. We felt safe and comfortable staying in this hotel.

The pod iteself is interesting and feel clean. There are different setup depending on your objective..a simple night sleep or to game the night away

The house is very good, and we had a pleasant stay.
In terms of communication, the team responded quickly, which we appreciate. However, we hope there can be better awareness of the surrounding situation. During our journey before arrival, several roads were closed due to a mall event. When we asked for alternative routes, we were informed that there was no information about the road closure, even though we had shared photos showing police and guards blocking the roads.
This situation caused us some panic, as we were stuck in heavy traffic with no clear direction. It would be helpful if the team could provide reassurance and practical guidance in such situations—for example, advising us that we could approach the guards to open the cones as we were guests checking in. Guidance like this would have helped reduce our stress.

The hotel felt a bit outdated, and the rooms could use some attention in terms of cleanliness and maintenance. It’s clear that the property could benefit from a refresh to improve its comfort and appeal.
On the positive side, the hotel is within walking distance of Aeon Shopping Mall, which is very convenient for shopping and dining. There’s also a convenience store right outside, making it easy to grab essentials.
Overall, if you're just looking for a basic, no-frills place to stay in a prime location, JS Hotel could work. However, if you're looking for a more modern or well-maintained experience, you might want to explore other options.

TThiam WoonCleanliness can be improved. The window in toilet was opened, wild birds like pigeon poop on the wall and not to mention spidey from trees nearby...
Distance wise is centrally located in middle of Aeon mall, Ikea and toppen mall. GT go-kart is also stones throw away with mininpasar malam.
Not encouraged if you are a light sleeper as crows start calling at 5am+ and a lot of noise from main road. It also depends on your luck that other stayers are no as noisy in the living/common area. Basically it is a house that has 4 rooms rented out as homestay with shared kitchen and hall.
If you are looking for a budget stay which is convenience then that's fine. Overall i am ok with the stay so would give an overall 3 stars as the owner is also friendly.
