"It is a gem. The service is remarkable. We have issue with parking fine and do not know how to resolve it. They went an extra mile to find a parking warden to settle it for us. The hotel also has a lot of free service, even though we didn't have breakfast. There are free flow bread and spread and coffee and fruit juices and packet drinks for you, enough to fill your stomach. What's more, it is located just in front of the beach. Oh, last but not least, our room comes with a massage chair which is handy to relieve your aches from all the walking. Definitely going to go back if there are opportunities."

"Lahan Hotel had a great view of the East Sea and Pohang Space Walk and was very clean and well furnished. Shower amenities (shampoo, soap and body lotion) have a stronger scent than most hotels (tabacoo scented) and may be a hit or miss for travellers. Location was also convenient, with just a short walk to Yeongildae Beach and eateries along the beach street. Many buses also have routes along the Main Street which made it easy and convenient to explore Pohang. The reception staff were also very helpful and gave us helpful advice for our itinerary and plans based on their local knowledge (:"

"Easy to find location, clean exterior, friendly reception area, in the middle of a motel district. Clean room and bedding, delicious abalone porridge, and even breakfast were great! However, the noise from the next room and the hallway, where people were drinking and talking until dawn, was indiscriminate. This made for a difficult sleep, making it difficult to relieve fatigue. For long-distance travelers, this was a challenge!"

"I was very impressed! The room was incredibly beautiful, absolutely stunning the moment I walked in. Everything was excellent. The room was new, the furniture and bedding were new and clean. The bathroom was also new and clean, with separate wet and dry areas. The location was great, breakfast was included, and there was parking available. All for an affordable price.
If anyone is visiting Pohang, I highly recommend this hotel. I'd give it 100 out of 100!"

"I was embarrassed by an umbrella that I had not prepared before in the rainy evening, but thanks to the kindness of the staff, I was able to go to the appointment place comfortably.

"The service was excellent! The young owners went over and beyond call of duty to help and accommodate me during my stay. I stayed for a few days and loved the room. The whole guesthouse was very interesting. The decor was great. Also, the young owners love animals and fish. This made the first floor very interesting. SSergey K.Good hotel in live night life area, spacious room with all amenities, private parking under tents and simple ”self service” breakfast - really self - I noticed noone on front desk while breakfast :-) Love this kind of Korean hotels doing everything to be the most hospital and warm welcoming. However, maybe it won't fit for you if you are looking for West-style hotel, but anyway worth trying!

The room was huge! It was a 10-minute walk to Jukdo Market? The location was great!
The staff were all friendly, helped with parking, and the breakfast was excellent!
More than anything, the beds, blankets, and pillows were all comfortable! Thanks to them, we had a great time and rested well!
I would definitely come back.

Unfortunately, the room smelled of chlorine, which soured our stay. There was no additional charge for parking in the adjacent tower.

GGuest UserJust accross the sea and about 1km plus from Homigot, you can just stroll along the beach road and it will reach the Homigot square.. love it.. they have tools for outdoor BBQ.. the staff cannot speak English but they did provide you with English version for rules to follow and use phone translation to communicate and thats not an issue for me.. if you driving you can go to seafood market they are popular with snow crab or Japanese house street for cafe and history just few KMs from the place..

GGuest UserThe hotel is a five minute walk from the intercity bus terminal, but it takes about a 30 minute bus ride to get into the city centre. The room is very clean and comfortable, however there was no hair conditioner provided. Check in required a phone call to receive room information and passcode, but staff were very helpful and guided me through the whole process.

AAnonymous UserIts a pity that the upper floor rooms got occupied so we were assigned to lower floor and the room was facing n pretty close to a construction next to the hotel and so we were worrying abt the dust and noise and a bit disappointed with the ‘seaview’ outside the terrace… luckily the front desk lady offered us another room on the same floor facing the carpark instead so the sea is really just one car away and it feels so much better :] she even offer us to check the rooftop family that comes with jacuzzi but we didnt bring out swimsuits so its out of our consideration.
The room is huge and the view is superb, except 1. it d be better if theres a door/curtain for the toilet/bathroom area for privacy and also noise isolation; 2. The fridge and rubbish bin are a bit too small for a family-sized guests; 3. Lacking racks/hooks to hang clothes and towels when u shower, a bit inconvenient…
However everything else is awesome, they hv clothing disinfectant machine provided in the room, a giant size tv which is good for family, amenity kits come with most of the things u need including facial cleanser/toner/moisturiser. Theres a coffee machine and ice making machine at the lobby so u can het ur everyday coffee free. Also the public terrace on 10/f is super nice n chill with the sea view, its both nice both day n night, highly recommend!
There are tons of restaurants mostly grilled meat/seafood dishes in the neighbourhood as its right next to the famous beach where ppl comes here for the yeonglidae pavillion, which looks nice at night! Space walk is also nearby. The locals all do their morning exercise walk by strolling along the seashore bare feet! Theres a shoe rack storage and feet washing facilities provided so u can come enjoy bare-foot walking in empty hands and leave clean and dry!
Its a nice stay and i would recommend to others!

EEffyOhhWe only stayed for one night. The check-in was early so we could leave our stuff there and go travel around. Close to bus stops so convenient. Cleanliness was OK but very old shower and amenities.
Only 2 plugins in the entire room for a fridge, a TV, our phones, the WiFi box, etc.. so we couldn't use the TV while charging our phones overnight
