"The hotel is a little far from the train station especially if you need to bring luggage as well and the path to the hotel is a little rugged. Probably similiar to others of the same grade and room especially toilet is very small so only space to put small luggage. Having said that room is well equipped with what most travellers need except no bottled water. Service / front desk staff speaks ok English."

"The hotel is integrated with the train station. The hotel does not have its own café or restaurant, so the breakfast is at an external Cafe at level 3. The hotel room is big enough for 2 persons. So for our family of 2 adults and 2 children age 10 and 12, we have to book 2 rooms. There is room amenities such as comb, shaver, toothbrush and body towel at the hotel lobby situated at level 4. The hotel is very centralized and well linked to other parts of tachikawa. The famous ramen chain Ichiran is about 10 minutes walk from hotel. The hotel check out time is 11.00 am. Any extension is at 1000 Yen per hour. We took the JR rail via Chuo Line to Tokyo station. It cost 660 Yen for adult and 330 Yen for child. We would choose this hotel again? Yesì"

"When I was researching, I only needed accommodation near Ajinomoto Stadium, which is actually 35-45 minutes away (but it takes almost 2 hours from Narita to the hotel). The actual stay exceeded my expectations. Tachikawa Station, where I got off, has many shopping malls to choose from. The station itself also has many restaurants, cafes, and dessert shops, so I didn't even need to go to Shinjuku/Shibuya (which I've been to many times already). There's plenty of food, shopping, and branded goods. If you walk to the lower floor of LUMINE Tachikawa (right next to the station building; you can ask at the information counter on the 3rd floor of the station building, they have many fluent English speakers. When I mentioned I was from Thailand, they even greeted me with a ”hello”!), you can access a convenience store (similar to Tops or Big C) or a sushi/sashimi area with many shops to choose from. The prices are reasonable, and the sushi is delicious – great value for money. The hotel is also not far from the station, a 5-6 minute walk. You'll pass Lawson, Family Mart, and Newsday convenience stores along the way. 7-Eleven might be a bit harder to find, but there are some. For those who like bars at night, you might see a lot of drunk people/smokers if you return late, as there are many bars and restaurants. As for the hotel itself... I arrived at 1 PM and was able to check in and go straight to my room. I got a room at the very end with a glass window that couldn't be opened (showing the street view), and on the other side was a glass balcony (view of various buildings). The reception staff were incredibly lovely. They were very helpful when I asked for directions, even though they didn't speak much English, but they were still very helpful – I was very impressed. It saved me a lot of time getting to the places I asked about. The room and bed were spacious. It had a hairdryer, kettle, TV, refrigerator, cutlery, plates, bowls, cooking pots, and a sink. The toiletries were all there, as expected for a hotel. I didn't even need to bring pajamas. If I wanted a dishwasher, I could ask at reception. I felt very private. However, the cleaning room starts at 10 AM every day. For someone like me who sleeps late, it felt like I was being woken up constantly (I put a sign on the door saying not to wake me, I want to sleep). But the cleaning noise was very loud, like they were banging on the door. It wasn't very pleasant, but I could tolerate it – I'd wake up and then go back to sleep. I didn't use the cleaning room for a day because I just slept all the time. Every day, I received a bathrobe/towel/hair towel/bath mat/bathroom amenities like shower cap, comb, brush, etc. from the reception. They also served green tea at the reception, with a hot water dispenser and green tea bags for me to make my own. However, I also received green tea bags in the room/or every day. (Some hotels serve coffee, some don't serve anything at all.) If I have the chance to go to that area again, I will definitely stay here again. I was very impressed. *I didn't take any pictures of the hotel, only pictures of the train station I got off at and the welcome message."

"The hotel's location is excellent. It's about a 6-minute walk from the JR station via the skybridge on the second floor, and along the way you can find Wendy's Burgers, Sushiro, gacha machines, yodobashi and Daiso. Donki is just across the street, and Takashimaya is a 5-minute walk away. Showa Park is also a short walk from there. The room, though small, was fully equipped. Amenities included a toothbrush, toothpaste, razor, hair tie, and cotton swabs. The mini-fridge had drip coffee and tea bags on top, and there were plenty of charging outlets. Ice and a microwave were available on the fifth floor. I checked in early November, and although it might have been the off-season, both nights were very quiet."

"The counter service is friendly and helpful to us that cannot speak Japanese. Even though their English is not fluent, but at least understand what we need. Their breakfast dish consider very good, a lot of choice for other. But slight crowded at early morning 630am. There is also free drinks session from 5 to 9pm. Good to taste different drinks in the Hotel."

"Absolutely fantastic! When I visited, other hotels in Tachikawa were severely overpriced. I had to choose between paying a few hundred for a tiny 12 sqm room or double that for a spacious 52 sqm room, and I'm so glad I went with the latter! It was totally worth it!! To get a room like this in Tokyo (even if it's the suburbs) for an average of 2100 yen (or around 1500 yen on weekdays) is incredible value for money! Plus, the Chuo Line from Tachikawa offers direct access to Kichijoji, Mitaka, Ueno, Shinjuku, and more, which is super convenient. Even if you just stay in Tachikawa, you'll find plenty of dining, shopping, and entertainment options. I can't believe this hotel is rated 3 stars on Google and 4 stars on Ctrip! If that's the case, then most 5-star hotels back home are severely over-inflating their ratings (bold statement, I know). And in Japan, where 10 AM check-out is the norm, this place lets you check out at 12 PM! How great is that?! They also have a hot spring and an infinity pool on the top floor, and the lounge offers a variety of free drinks and snacks. Seriously, it's really good!"
