"Location is perfect! Room is fine: its not big, but Japan travellers must know this is common and fine. We slept well. Small restaurants by station, minimarkets close by. Beautiful sauna, cold plunge and hot soaking tubs on roof, separate male and female. Perfect, and rare. The exercise room is joke: way too small, treadmill was functional, elliptical machine inoperable. Not going to get in a full workout here, if that is important to you. Price was fair. We did not use the restaurant, but two of our party took their evening meal at he Western-style food restaurant on same floor as the hotel lobby but just across from the hotel doorway. They spoke well of the food and service and it was busy (if you're craving Western food). I would stay here again, not hesitate."

"Located at the north exit of Mishima Station, a 5-minute walk away, it's right there as soon as you exit the station. The breakfast buffet is quite extensive, but it only runs until 9 a.m., so it can be quite crowded at the same time. You can bring food in boxes to your room. There's a self-service laundry and dryer at your own expense, which is quite affordable. The small room was quite comfortable. My only complaint was the height of the shower head; it only has two positions, high and low, with no middle position. I'm a bit short, so it was a bit awkward to use. JR trains run to Atami and Ito. There's a bus stop at the south exit of the JR station, which goes to Kawaguchiko and Gotemba. It's convenient for getting around. There are many restaurants near the south exit, but there's a ¥150 entrance fee to walk through the passageway from the north exit to the south exit. If you take a detour, it takes about 15 minutes."

"Let's start with the downsides: The room was tiny, and the shower equally cramped. At 185cm, I found it impossible to bend over comfortably. The 1.4-meter double bed was also minuscule; it was far too cramped for a family of three. I'd strongly suggest the hotel rethink allowing two adults and one child in a single room! We had to pay an additional 3,000 JPY cash per night for our 8-year-old upon arrival, which essentially only covered some basic toiletries. It felt like a hefty charge just to be squeezed into a tiny space. I urge everyone to consider this carefully before booking. Personally, I found the situation quite illogical! This seems like a straightforward system issue that should be easily fixable. Right outside the hotel, there's a bus stop for the Mt. Fuji climbing route. Be sure to check the return times, as the bus fare is quite pricey compared to JR train tickets. We went up the mountain in the morning under bright sunshine and pleasant weather. However, by the afternoon, it suddenly turned foggy, rainy, and windy, making it incredibly damp and cold. Definitely bring a jacket; the weather is highly unpredictable. On a side note, I have to commend the bus driver – they were incredibly skilled, driving quite fast even on mountain roads that were slick/covered! Very impressive. Our stay happened to coincide with a Japanese national holiday and the Mishima Grand Festival, a major event for the city. Mishima was incredibly lively and bustling. There were many Japanese families with young children staying at the hotel, which suggests it's a popular choice among locals. Ramen is served from 9:30 PM – it's basically freshly prepared instant ramen, haha. The broth was a little salty, but it tasted good, and you could ask for seconds if you wanted. Unfortunately, I cut my leg this trip and wasn't able to try out the 12th-floor onsen. I heard they offer popsicles in the evening and Yakult in the morning there. I'd still consider staying here on my next visit to Mishima, hoping to experience the onsen then."

"I often stay here when I go to Mishima Taisha Shrine. The rooms are small but clean, and while the toilet is inside the room, there is a shared shower on each floor. However, laundry is free and detergent is provided, and there is drink and breakfast service in the shared space on the first floor where you can relax. There is a bakery and convenience store nearby, and it is close to the station so you will never have trouble finding restaurants. I would like to stay here again next time."
