"I stayed one night at Hotel Route Inn Kyoto Maizuru with a late check-in, and I’m really glad I booked it—even just for a quick transit to another city the next day. Once you step out of Nishi-Maizuru Station, you’ll see the hotel right away. The location was super convenient for me, especially since I arrived from Hokkaido via ferry at Maizuru Ferry Terminal. Everything felt new and well-maintained. The room was surprisingly spacious for a solo traveler, super clean, and the bed was very comfortable. I wish I’d stayed longer! I especially loved their onsen/public bath, which I used just before it closed at 2 AM. The breakfast was good too. If I remember correctly, there’s a nearby bar, restaurants, a Yoshinoya, and a Family Mart—so even though I arrived late, I still managed to have a proper meal."

The shared kitchen and living space were also spacious and easy to use, with tables and sofas. The kitchen was equipped with a refrigerator, dishes, and cooking utensils, so it would be fun to stay for a few days or have a good time with friends or family. Drinking water was also provided. There was also a coin laundry. There was a large paid parking lot right in front of the accommodation, which was very cheap and convenient at 500 yen for 24 hours. For a hostel or guesthouse, the facilities are new and the rooms are spacious, so I recommend it!"
