"Seriously, I can't find a single flaw with this hotel! It should be highly recommended. All the staff are incredibly polite, and there's absolutely no racial discrimination – white guests and Chinese guests are treated equally.
Facilities: Everything is super new, and the minimalist style is very soothing.
Hygiene: Still my favorite, the wet/dry separation in the bathroom is great, and the bathroom itself is spacious and new.
Environment: It's a 5-minute walk from the subway station, and there are plenty of convenient dining options nearby.
Service: Breakfast is served at the Muji Cafe downstairs, as pictured. There's a wide selection of food, and the quality is excellent."

"The hotel's location is fantastic, just a 3-minute walk from Kamakura Station. The breakfast is a set meal, and while the variety is a bit limited, the tomato soup is absolutely delicious! The overall decor has a green, nature-inspired theme, which unfortunately means it attracts insects easily. The biggest issue in the room is a step right at the entrance, which is a tripping hazard. There are no other tea bags, coffee, or water provided in the room. "The reception staff were very friendly and helpful.
The public bath was large and relaxing.
There is no convenience store nearby - you need to walk towards the station to visit the closest (Family Mart) which takes about 5mins one way.
There were 2 things that bothered me:
1. Position of TV. You can’t be on the bed to watch as you cannot turn the TV towards the bed.
2. There were 2 chairs and a table and the height of the table and the part you sit on the chair was same. Therefore I had to bend so much to reach down to eat which was quite frustrating"

"Everything was good. The location is right next to the beach and not far from Enoshima Island. However, large towels aren't included. There's a lot of noise from the road, and you can hear the neighbors clearly. The bed creaks, too, haha. Other than that, everything else was fine. It's okay for a one-night stay."

"The hotel's location is excellent, right by Ofuna, JR Ofuna Station, making it very convenient to get around on foot. The Shonan Monorail is also right next door, which is super handy. I think the price of 800-900 per night for this accommodation is reasonable. It feels newer than the Sotetsu hotels; this hotel doesn't look like it was renovated years ago, it seems quite new. The room size is also bigger than the Sotetsu chain hotels I've stayed in before, with enough space for two or three suitcases."

"原本訂了一家老牌酒店，後來看到這家位置更好，就決定更換。非常慶幸自己這個選擇，真的非常滿意！
首選位置極佳，江之電腰越站下來三分鐘就到了。對面就是腰越海岸。往前一站是鎌倉高校，往後一站江之島，都可以步行可達。早上吃好飯去海邊跑步的感覺，太爽了。
房間又新又大又整潔，設備也是現代簡約風格，不是普遍日本酒店的那種。淋浴房好高級，洗浴用品齊全。
細節非常精緻，綠茶、紅茶、咖啡品質都很不錯，房間飲用水充足（兩瓶常温兩瓶在冰箱），毛巾非常柔軟，床也超級舒服，餐廳的早餐是套餐式的，很好吃。晚餐吃過他們的蕎麥麪，價格也不貴。
還有房頂的露台，天氣好時眺望遠方心曠神怡。
總之如果要在鎌倉逗留一晚的話，非常推薦住這裏。就是有一丟小貴，希望下次再來的時候別漲價哈哈哈～"

"I learned the charm of the guesthouse. It seemed like many people came here to rest for a while, and I really liked the guesthouse's unique culture that welcomed even first-time visitors. Since it's an old building, the windows shake when cars pass by and the wooden stairs creak, but I think that's its own charm. The shower facilities are also well-equipped! There aren't any large lockers, but I felt safe because I could leave my valuables in a place where I could use the key. I really liked the atmosphere of meeting and interacting with various people. It's a short walk from Hase Station, so it's easy to access, and if you walk a little further, there's a beach. The price is reasonable, so I think I'll come back again next time I visit Kamakura."

GGuest UserI really like the location that Yuigahama is close. It's just the right size to spend alone, and the amenities are fashionable and substantial. It's nice to be able to drink coffee on the water server. Unfortunately, the bathtub and the washroom are not separate, and when I come to such a place, I still want to relax in the bath, and it is very very disappointing that the bathtub cannot be filled with hot water. I wish I had a public bath nearby. After that, towels and bed sheets were a little damp. As with us, when drying with a drum dryer, it seems to have been dry at that time, but it is not dry enough, and I think it is better to extend the drying time a little more.

Getting around is inconvenient unless you take a taxi, especially in the sweltering heat! If you don't want to eat at the hotel or walk too far, there's a burger joint near the hotel you might consider. We brought some food from a convenience store to the hotel because it was too hot to walk.

GGuest UserThis was the most pleasant stay in Kamakura we had! Glad to have an opportunity to write a review. I went to Japan in beginning of November with my younger brother, the weather was warm. We were intended to stay in Kamakura for 2 days (1 day in beginning and 1 day in the end of our trip). A hotel near both to Enoshima and Kotoku-in. The service was incredible. The room was neat and tidy with AC, TV, balcony and matcha tea set, also we could see a sea from the balcony. Hotel has spacious bathroom with mini onsen. The hostess of the hotel was very polite to us. One time we were late to check in, so we called from reception, and she began to apologize politely and walked down from the top floor to give us the keys to our room. We felt a bit awkward)
Then she gave us 2 towels for free, when they cost 200 yen, it was nice bonus. Btw every time we checked out, a hostess was giving to us postcards =) We had lots of positive emotions. So, I highly recommend this place to stay in Kamakura.

XXianyun622The apartment is small but fully equipped with super functions and a sauna. The location is also good, near Enoshima Station, and you can walk to Kamakura Kokōgōmae Station, Shichirigahama Coastline, and Enoshima.
However, due to the lack of luggage storage, we checked in at 4pm and checked out at 10am the next day, which meant we had to wait an awkward time dragging our luggage along the seaside avenue, which reduced the advantage of the location.
It would be perfect if luggage storage could be set up.

GGuest UserThe hotel is conveniently located just one stop above Kamakura Station, making it easy to find. The room was even better than the photos, quiet, and the service was excellent and patient. It was convenient to leave luggage at the hotel after check-out, allowing for easy travel. Getting up early allowed me to catch the sunrise and see Mount Fuji with excellent visibility. Kamakura High School was practically empty before 9 am, but there were long queues on the way back. Staying here for one night is incredibly good value! However, I recommend exploring the city for a while before staying here, as most shops close around 6 pm.

GGuest UserI didn't want to say anything, but after I left the hotel today, I texted him that I didn't pay for the room, so I wanted to say something. The house is an early local residential house, a two-story wooden house with three rooms above and below, all managed by this samurai buddy. When checking in, a girl came to help introduce the room and precautions. After 9 pm, everyone got off work, leaving only the guests. Last night, there were two young people living downstairs, and the other room was empty. The two young people went out after storing their luggage at 9 o'clock in the morning, and did not come back until after 9 o'clock in the evening when the lights were turned off. They almost couldn't get in. In fact, the door was not locked, but the sliding was stuck. It was cold these two days, and because the sliding windows of the Japanese-style room were not tight, there was air leakage everywhere, and even the two young people downstairs couldn't stand it. I looked at the bathroom shower room and didn't go in again, and I didn't take a shower that night. Of course, it was also related to the cold weather. Breakfast was also very simple. This buddy came over at 8:30 with a backpack and processed it here. Before 9 o'clock in the evening, the people downstairs were very noisy. I was a little sleepy and went to bed early. This guy was dressed like a samurai. His ancestors must have had samurai traditions. He was also good at communication and introduced some samurai customs. I felt that the guy was pretty good and worked hard. I wanted to praise him. Because I saw that he seemed to sell wine here, all of which were opened, and also opened meals. There might also be tour guides, so I had to pay the bill at the end. I thought the platform required 8,500 to check in, so I took the initiative to tell the girl who showed me the room that I had to pay the room fee. She went downstairs and asked the samurai, and then took a receipt to check the amount. I gave him 10,000, and she gave me 1,500 in change. I think he should ask the girl again when he checked in at 4 pm.

The hotel receptionist, Umiya, was Japanese, and we communicated in English just like good friends. In the evenings, the common area was filled with people from all over the world – Filipinos even gave me snacks, and there were Koreans, French, and Argentinians. It felt like a crossroads, forming a big, temporary family. It's also incredibly close to Kamakura Beach, just a short walk away. This is the best hostel I've ever stayed at.
