"The flight to the hotel was almost canceled from both Haneda and Fukuoka, but I finally arrived and took a 330 yen bus to Campana, where I could see the Tsubaki Hotel right away. The driver kindly told me to turn left at the road in front so that I could enter from the back without going around to the main entrance. I realized that there were no rooms on the inside of the single room, so I asked if I could upgrade for an additional fee, and they arranged it for me, and I got a room with a balcony facing the sea. It was very clean, and if the weather had been good, the view would have been even more amazing. It was sunny on the last day, so all was well! There were three beds, so I thought that if we took turns using them, we wouldn't have to worry about making the beds, so I asked the staff about this and asked them to only change the towels, etc. Despite the heavy rain that was as heavy as a disaster, I was able to go to the nearby castle ruins, the port, and the supermarket after the rain, and on the last day I was able to rent a local car and travel around the island, so it was great - I want to go again. At breakfast the main dishes seemed a little lacking, but you could choose only what you liked and it was quite sufficient as it was very Goto-like."

"I used this hotel for my first trip to Fukue Island. Unfortunately, the weather was bad. When I checked in around 4 PM, the parking lot closest to the hotel was already full, so I was directed to a parking space a few minutes' walk away. They ask about breakfast preferences at check-in, but it seems you have to go outside to get there, and they didn't recommend it because of the bad weather the next day, so I didn't use it. Although it's a business hotel, there's a large public bath, which was nice, and there's a free luggage storage area, which was reassuring. I was able to relax because I could go in my room clothes. The bed was comfortable, and I slept soundly. I think it would be nice if the weather was good. Also, I asked a question through this website beforehand, but I didn't receive a reply, so I recommend checking directly with the hotel."

Fukue Castle, a popular tourist attraction, is also nearby, making it easily accessible on foot from the hotel. Despite its proximity, it's quiet at night, ensuring a restful sleep. The facilities are clean, the room is spacious enough for a solo traveler, and I was pleased with the semi-double bed. While the amenities and services are simple, the staff are all very friendly and helpful. I visited Fukue Island to observe the migration of honey buzzards (a type of hawk) at Osezaki Lighthouse, so I had an early start and only booked breakfast once, but it was a healthy meal primarily consisting of vegetables. The linens are changed daily, which is a nice touch."

"The hot spring was good.. The kindness of the manager was really good. It's on the top of the mountain, so it's a good place to heal. But for those who enjoy walking around the city at night, it was a disadvantage because it was far from downtown if you didn't go by car. For those who rest at night, the resort atmosphere was good while enjoying the hot springs. The small manager is 1000% kind and friendly."
