Hotels with WiFi in Messina

If I could give this place 20/10 for service, I would. When we arrived at the location, we were in a complete state of panic as we thought we had been scammed by the gas station up the road. After checking us in (a few hours early), the receptionist kindly accompanied us back to the gas station and helped us translate between Italian and English, clarifying the misunderstanding of the situation. This was exceptional service and kindness we were not expecting. The room itself was incredibly luxurious - we actually had 2 bedrooms (family suite) for 2 people. The walk-in wardrobe was a delightful surprise, although we didn't stay long enough to enjoy it. As we were both working while on holiday, the study desk in each room gave us the privacy and space to do our meetings and work independently. The bar fridge was useful for us to store our salads, snacks and bottled drinks. The bed was super comfortable and we had a very restful sleep. The pillows were also the right height. Thankfully, there was air conditioning - our previous hotel did not. We slept like babies. The bathroom had all the amenities, including a hairdryer which is essential for me. Best for last - breakfast the next morning was an absolute feast. The continental style breakfast spread was generous and we indulged in pastries, yogurt, fresh fruits and marvellous coffee. I believe everything is baked fresh in house. As we checked out, we were even gifted a bag of pastries to take on our journey with us. ＜3 I highly recommend this place, and I am ever grateful to the wonderful hospitality we enjoyed here.

Nice homestay near the harbour. Easy to reach and within walking distance from the main spots.

The room is large, and the ventilation system is good. The host is very helpful and will tell you how to access to the building step by step by phone call. You can also contact her via WhatsApp. Overall it’s good with its location, as it’s located in the city center with a walkable distance to restaurants and train station. However, if you afraid of hot, the room isn’t suitable for you as they don’t have AC. But two fans are in the room which is also ok for us as it’s windy. It’s a shared bathroom apartment, but overall the bathroom is clean because two rooms share one bathroom which is also okay. They will clean the bathroom every morning so overall it’s not bad!

Location is very next just 5 mins walk from train station. Room is nice and aircon is ok! Staff are nice.

We were diverted to Falconieri hotel which had only been opened 2 months. A winner. Amazing staff and fantastic amenities. Location beautiful but an uphill walk from train station, however manageable and visually stunning through the Piazza.

Facilities: First of all, it is not a hotel level, it is a simple fishing village homestay, not a marked free parking lot, but parked on the side of the road. During the peak season, it is very narrow, driving in one direction, parking on both sides is very difficult. The location is really special, close to the beach, and the water quality is clear, there are hotel beaches and umbrellas, the scenery is still very good, especially the sunset. The quality of the restaurant on the second floor of the hotel is good. The boss seems to want to make himself a stylish restaurant. The waiter is very professional and the dishes are OK, but a bottle of water is too exaggerated to sell for six euros. I drank two bottles of water for 12 euros. The bread before the meal is four euros, and there is a service fee... The price of the overall dish is more expensive in this small fishing village. The older building has characteristics, but it is not soundproof at all. The party downstairs was noisy in the middle of the night. There is an open-air balcony, in terms of drying clothes, the hardware facilities are relatively old, especially the bathroom. But the overall area of the suite room is quite large. The swimming pool has diving and the children have a great time.
