Hotels with WiFi in Inverness

Im absolutely disappointed in the end. They owe me 17,95£ for a canceled whole breakfast. The man on the reception couldn’t give it back to me and they left him alone without any help… He even wanted to charge me 23£ instead. It was absolutely awful. I needed to leave for my flight so in total I got no money back. The Rooms are not well cleaned and even hair was in my bed. I want my money back! This is not over yet.

Overall feedback: We had a comfortable and pleasant stay. The property is spacious enough for a group of 3–4 people, and it was clean and comfortable throughout our stay. We really enjoyed how peaceful and secluded it felt — it truly is a hideaway away from the buzz of the tourist city centre. A small suggestion: It would be helpful to provide clearer directions and notes on how to find the property. The address on Google Maps directed us to a different house, which caused some confusion. In fact, the owner of that house mentioned that they frequently receive visitors who are looking for this Airbnb and have to redirect them to the correct property. Perhaps clearer driving directions, landmarks, or a note in the check-in instructions about the Google Maps issue would make it much easier for future guests to find the property. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the peaceful location!

First let me say that the owners were incredibly kind and accommodating. It pains me that to even write this but I thought fellow travelers should hear my experience. First, there are two aye stays in Inverness. My gps took me to the wrong one first. That was awkward. After I finally figured it out, the place was very cutely decorated with Scottish and Loch Ness decor. Contactless check in was easy however a board with everyone’s name and room numbers does not feel super safe for me a solo female traveler. But over all easy enough. Next I stayed in room 7 which is up a flight of stairs so make sure you pack light! (Which you should do anyway in Scotland.) My room had just been renovated with new carpet but it smelled like off gassing and I had to open the window (which was broken) there was a radiator for heat which I had no idea how to use. So it got a little chilly. Now here comes the problems: the rooms are very close together and the walls are paper thin. I was kept up until 3 in the morning hearing conversations and snoring. We were only given the choice of receiving breakfast between 7:30-8:30 in the dining room. So I woke up earlier than I would have liked to eat breakfast. Which was just okay. Nothing too outstanding to write about but again the hostess was very sweet. Overall I could see that they’re trying their best. But I would recommend sound machines in each of the rooms or something so people can have a good nights sleep. The location was pretty good and just over the bridge from the high street.

I have booked for 2night stay for 36 pounds it was budget friendly for me they have separate rooms and toilets for male and female guests shared kitchen and sitting area also available have to manage bit as 6 bed per room available have separate storage space for each individual to lock up things

Great location, room was big and clean and sauna, pool and steam room were fantastic.

The hotel is from 1856 so it isn’t going to be ticking all your modern hotel boxes. It was clean, well presented and the staircase (that reportedly inspired Thomas’s Andrew’s design of the Titanic staircase) is a feature to behold. Our room was a good size, had comfortable twin beds and a good shower and bath. If you want to stay in a convenient location directly beside the train station and a stones throw from the bus station and local amenities, then this is well worth a look. It is very much like stepping back in time.

Evening event dinner was at best poor. Starter which should have been hot was cold, main course just warm, the desert had run out by the time our table was served.  The hotel toilets were in need of an attendant checking regularly .  We ended up laughing about it with references to faulty towers.  However our room was beautiful, clean, well presented, the bed was very comfortable.  We had a great night sleep.  At breckfast the arm of my chair was loose and lifted up when I would go to move my chair in/out from the table.  When I was looking around the continental breckfast counter I could hear a male member of the kitchen staff shouting and swearing using the F word, not at all what I expected from any Hotel.  Lasting impression I would not rush back.

We arrived later afternoon Andy received us with biscuits what a warm welcome. It has a homely feel with old school locking key, had a fish supper which compliments to the chef Peter was fabulous, great dinner atmosphere with other guests at restaurant and bar/lounge. Spacious clean room, quality linen and warm enough one minus next door guy snored through our walls (not hotel's fault). The hot breakfast was served to order which is fab as it gets to you hot and fresh also avoiding waste and dry dull food. So keep it up guys. And keep getting everyone up early enough.

Hotel is located outside of the city centre. It takes 5 mins by bus and 25 mins by walk to reach the city centre. The bus stop is nearby. Not much food options near the hotel, only there are KFC and a fish and chips shop. The hotel is clean, room is cleaned every day. Breakfast is English style with same menu every day. The breakfast is served from 7 am which is late as we had to catch coach for daytrip which starts from city centre at 7:30. Though I had booked room with breakfast from Trip.com, the receptionist was asking to book the breakfast again as it seems trip.com doesn't share the breakfast booking with hotel. So receptionist asked to show the proof of breakfast booking which was awkward. Other than this minor issues, overall experience was good.

Hostel hotel. Very quiet nearby. Walk 15 minutes to the downtown area. There is a parking lot. Breakfast is to be done by yourself and the hotel supplies all materials and equipment. Overall feels good
