"The location is excellent, just a 5-minute walk from the South Terminal. The room is spacious, well-equipped, and impressively soundproofed, with a comfortable bed and lovely Crabtree & Evelyn toiletries. My only room-related note is that as a solo traveller, being assigned a connecting room was not ideal. The check-in process could benefit from greater consistency. With multiple staff members handling the front desk, guests currently receive a different experience depending on who serves them — standardising procedures for luggage storage and paperwork would go a long way. That said, the front desk staff member I encountered in the evening was a genuine highlight — noticing I had a camera, he struck up a warm conversation and asked about my visit to Seven Sisters Cliff. That kind of personal, attentive interaction is exactly what makes a stay memorable, and I appreciated it. I do need to raise a more serious concern about my checkout experience. When I approached the desk a couple of minutes after checkout time, the staff member Natalia addressed me in Mandarin. When I indicated I didn't speak that language, rather than apologising or switching to English, she appeared amused and questioned why I didn't speak Putonghua. When I explained I was from elsewhere, she giggled. I want to be direct: assuming a guest's language or origin based on their appearance or booking platform is not appropriate, and the response when corrected made the experience worse. As an airport hotel serving an international clientele, guests deserve to be greeted without assumptions and treated with consistent professionalism regardless of their background. I hope management will take this as constructive feedback and address it with the team."

"Absolutely awesome location! The rooms are located on floors 5 to 8, accessible by lifts located close to the airport security screening area. It could not be more convenient 😃 The rooms are comfortable and offer a choice of lighting from bright lights to gentle colour. Great heating/air conditioning system. Shower room is a wet room and the shower was wonderful (it has incredible water pressure 🚿 😍) . Everything was spotlessly clean. 😇 TV with good choice of programmes. 📺 🥰 Check in was so easy! I just tapped the link on the email, which led me to an app advising me of the room number. 🚪When I arrived outside the room I simply opened the app, tapped to confirm I was there and the door automatically opened. This would prove difficult for someone not accustomed to using apps or without a compatible phone, but I saw a computer screen near the lifts to assist with checking in (obviously there to assist guests who might have issues with their phones) I’d definitely stay here again. Was very impressed overall 😁"

"It's a no frills hotel. Got the job done. I booked as I have an early morning flight like many others who stay in this hotel (or those arriving late at night) Story: so I came to the hotel about one and a half hours early, around 1330-ish. The front desk staff said I can ”check in early” for £50. That's almost what I paid for the booking for a mere 90 min of stay. Point no 1. Point no 2. Context: I haven't read through the hotel policy prior. So I asked the front desk staff if I could leave my luggage there so that my wife and I plus our baby could go grab a bite in the town while waiting for 3 pm. The staff could have easily said no and I would have understood. No biggie. But then he said something ridiculous, that I can store my 3 pieces of luggage for £3 each as a donation for a children's hospital. Now if the hotel policy is no storage just said so, no need to try guilt trip customers into paying for something when it's clearly your KPI to achieve, not mine. Stop deceiving and guilt tripping costumers."

"The location is quite tricky, it is not really a road but an alley. But other than that the hotel is really good, really clean, quite new and big, the bed is comfy, theres also good meal deals. Staff are friendly and nice. Highly recommend it as it’s relatively cheaper than other hotels. You can follow Google map for the route to hotel, don’t doubt it cuz I did and wasted some time haha. Oh, You can book the shuttle bus too."

"I would not be giving this a 4 star rating for the hotel. The lobby was clean and tidy. Check in staff great. Rooms dated and lacked fine detail in cleaning. Scum around the baths and shower screens and fridge seals. Tea and coffee complementary in your room so long as you didn’t want any choice, as for two of us only one English breakfast teabag and then 5 camomile!! Used the restaurant in the hotel for dinner. Due to an early flight we decided to eat as a family at 5pm. The staff couldn’t figure out which menu we should be using and three times swapped the menus out. Once food was ordered it come out very sporadically (not all in one go as a family to eat) with one of us waiting 20 minutes from start of meal. The food came out warm and not hot and the staff messed the drinks order up. It is a quiet hotel from airport noise, but if you have someone in the room next door who likes their TV loud then take earplugs as no sound proofing from room to room or room to corridor."

"Small and cozy room with a perfect location for an early flight. Slept remarkably well and was not disturbed by other guests, will book again next time I have the misfortune of an early flight out of LGW!"
