"A nice hotel, I’d say it’s a step up from Premier Hotels. Better facilities, good size rooms, clean and comfortable bed, two chairs and a large tv. Breakfast was virtually 1/2 of what Premier charge and plentiful with all the expected options. Nice touch to accept my case into storage free of charge whilst we went shopping after checking out.  Very Good  all round😁"

"I had a very good experience staying at Hilton Cardiff. The hotel felt extremely safe and well managed throughout my stay. One thing I noticed is that they are very strict about not allowing visitors after 9 PM. At first, it was a bit disappointing, but honestly, it also made me feel much safer knowing they take security seriously. The service was excellent from beginning to end. The staff were always kind, attentive, and always willing to help with anything I needed, which made the whole experience feel very welcoming. My room was comfortable, clean, and well maintained. It was also cleaned during my stay, which I really appreciated and added to the overall comfort. The location is another big advantage the hotel is just steps away from Cardiff Castle, making it perfect for exploring the city. It’s also only about a 20 minute walk from Cardiff Central railway station, which made getting there and around very convenient. One morning I decided to try the breakfast buffet, and it was definitely worth it. There were many options to choose from, including pastries, hot food, fruit, and drinks. They also had coffee machines with very good coffee, which made the breakfast experience even better. Another highlight was the bar downstairs it had a great atmosphere and was a really nice place to relax after a day of exploring. Overall, I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cardiff, especially if you value comfort, excellent service, a great location, and above all, feeling safe during your stay."

"The hotel's location is absolutely excellent, right in Cardiff city center. It's within walking distance of nearby malls, department stores, restaurants, cafes, markets, and the castle, making it incredibly convenient. Compared to other hotels of the same brand in different cities, this one offers better facilities and space. However, on my first day, I had an unpleasant experience at check-in with a female staff member who treated me unfairly, which left a bad taste in my mouth. I want to emphasize though that this was just one individual; all the other staff members I encountered were extremely friendly and polite."

"The bed was very comfortable, and the location is right on the liveliest street. While the location is convenient, it’s also quite noisy—there were people drinking and partying downstairs late into the night. Early in the morning, you can hear the sound of bottles being cleared from the street."

"Staying at the Parkgate Hotel was an excellent experience, I have stayed at other hotels in Cardiff City Centre before and previously always been a bit disappointed, however this hotel is classy right from the moment you walk through the doors. Check-in was very smooth. The room beautifully clean and well appointed with all of the things that you require. The breakfast was excellent and checkout was very smooth. Can’t rate this hotel highly enough, well done!"

"Hotel was lovely, great location really great staff. Restaurant was fabulous as was the Browns bar & staff. Unfortunately our aircon was ineffective and when reported to reception no engineers to review/fix and we ended up with 2 small fans in the room 🥺🥺. Safe to say our sleep was awful, the room was so hot and stuffy reaching temperatures in excess of 29 degrees (air con was set to 18). It would have been more cooler to sleep in the corridor 😟😟😟. So whilst this hotel was beautiful this issue certainly affected the quality of our stay."

"It’s about a 10-minute walk from Cardiff Station to the hotel. The location is very convenient. However, there is no parking available, so it may be inconvenient for those traveling by car. I think it’s fine if you just need a place to sleep. Please note that it is not the kind of hotel you would expect from Novotel or Ibis. The room was spacious and comfortable. There was a window, but it could not be opened. The room had a hairdryer and a safe, but no refrigerator. カーディフ駅からホテルへ徒歩10分ほどで到着できます。 立地はとても良いです。 しかし駐車場は無く、車で移動される方には不便だとおもいます。 ただ寝泊まりする分には良いと思います。 ノボテルやイビスのようなホテルでは無いのでご注意ください。 部屋は広く、快適に過ごせました。 窓はありますが開閉ができないタイプのものでした。 ドライヤーや金庫はありますが冷蔵庫はありません。"

"A bit chilly, but otherwise perfect. It's very close to the train station, making transportation convenient, and there are many great food options nearby. The restaurant's breakfast is excellent. It's a perfect retreat, quiet yet centrally located, and the service attitude is also very good."

"I arrived quickly as it's close to the train station. The location is excellent! It's on the main street but wasn't chaotic or noisy, which was a plus. The self check-in/check-out kiosks made things convenient, and the staff were incredibly, incredibly friendly. The room itself was clean, and the elephant and swan towel art on the bed was especially cute. It immediately put me in a good mood when I walked in. Although there wasn't a fridge in the room, I asked at reception, and they kindly stored my wine in the hotel bar fridge, allowing my friends and I to have an enjoyable night. I was worried the window might look small from the photos, but the view was so beautiful that it didn't feel small at all."

"I like to book Holiday Inn when I travel because it's usually reliable, although some branches can be a older/more worn out than others, but I expect would be up to standards. Room was comfortable and very spacious. Had a Big screen tv ehich was great to watch the match.The night team went above and beyond to ensure I had a good stay and responded to my request."
