We totally enjoyed our stay in Cloitre des Augustins in Avignon! We had 2 rooms and stayed for 6 nights with family. Rooms are clean, spacious and stylishly furnished. Air conditioning is perfect and with all utensils for making meals. The location is wonderful with lots of cafes, supermarkets and shops nearby. Also walkable to all major attractions such as the Pont d’Avignon (the broken bridge) and Palais de Papes. About 15 minutes walk to Avignon Centre train station which is a bonus if you plan to travel to nearby towns like Arles or Nimes by train. Convenient location and nice rooms. Besides, the host Patrick and his wife are helpful and welcoming. Highly recommended

The owner and host Pascal is very warm, eager to please, excitable and very outgoing. There is a happy hour for guests and Pascal everyday and it is nice to make friends with other guests. A very nice breakfast is good included daily. A short 5-8 minute drive to the lovely but crowded town of L'Isle sur la Sorgue. Pascal helped us book last minute dinner reservations in L'isle sur la Sorgue, which isn't easy to do last minute in September. We especially enjoyed Le Jardin du Quai. Only a four course with no choices at 52 Euros pp. We enjoyed it so much we ate there our last two nights. The ”resort” is in an old Carmelite building that has had refurbishment. It is more rustic Provencal than contemporary. There is an outside covered fairly extensive exercise room, a nice pool, and a very peaceful feel outside on the property. The bees at breakfast were bothersome but nobody got stung and they seemed benign. The clientele was international, but more than 1/2 French. Pascal speaks and understands English well. Les Carmes is quite different than most other places in the region. It reminds me a bit of the Golden ages of travel in the 1950s. It is the opposite of sterile and has a real heart and center.

The anxious person remembered the same anxious person in the car outside, declined, hurriedly parked the car, returned to the room, solved the round, did not see the bed, was shocked, thought to sleep on the sofa. As a result, the cabinet door was opened, and there was a big bed inside. This design was really crashing. The first night was very quiet, the second night was attacked by mosquitoes, and I woke up in the middle of the night to fight mosquitoes, only to find mosquito bodies on the wall. I was bitten by 6 bags, and the other was bitten by countless. The bag on my finger was finally connected to a white line, looking scary. Stayed for two nights and no cleaning service. There is no living supermarket within walking distance. Fortunately, we purchased food from the last hotel and brought it with ice bags. The induction cooker is not enough, half fried and half stewed, and it can be considered to be able to eat. There is no serious kitchen knife and silicone shovel. The two men ran to the first floor for a meal, and finally gathered together the kitchen utensils and played pure water. The tap water can't be drunk when it boils, it's all water alkali The advantage is that parking is free and there are plenty of parking spaces. Closed management, there is a security brother on duty at night, full of security. There is also a cheap price. The day I came, I was roasted by fire, I was watered by the rain, I was shaking in my shorts, I was shaking, goodbye, Ah **

The hotel is very good. You can fail to pass the service of Trip.com. The hotel generally emails in advance to ask if the guests want to order dinner, but because Trip.com did not give our information to the hotel, we didn't have any food there. It is recommended that friends who see this evaluation go to the E or B website to book!

Our stay at the Mercure Avignon TGV Hotel et Spa was the perfect blend of relaxation and convenience. After a long day of travel, the hotel’s sleek, contemporary atmosphere felt like a breath of fresh air. The highlight was definitely the spa facilities. Having access to a pool and sauna right on-site allowed us to truly unwind and recharge. The room itself was impressively spacious and quiet, ensuring a deep and peaceful night's sleep despite being so close to the transport hub. We wrapped up our stay with a delicious breakfast in their bright, airy dining area. The quality of the coffee and the selection of artisanal breads and cheeses were top-notch. It is a wonderful choice for anyone looking for a touch of luxury and ease during their journey through Provence.

Easy to find, free parking, easy check in process, and a very quiet location.  Room was an apartment with lots of room. Bed was very comfortable, bathroom/shower ok. Breakfast was excellent, with a good choice of continental items. Front desk staff were excellent, friendly and helpful.  Only problem for us was that the nearest restaurant for dinner was 1 hour walk away (I wanted to enjoy some wine and not drive). Still, the walk back gave the wine plenty of time to be absorbed !

I initially thought this hotel would be noisy, seeing how close it was to the train tracks on the map. However, after checking in, it far exceeded my expectations. Here's why: The room was clean, the bathroom was large, and the room itself was incredibly spacious with comfortable bedding. But most importantly, there are two key points: 1. It was very, very quiet. 2. It's incredibly close to the train station and the main bus terminal, about 300 meters away. It's also very near the old town attractions, making getting around super convenient. Plus: If you exit the hotel, turn left, then left again, and cross the railway overpass, you'll find a large supermarket. This was the best hotel I booked during my trip to Southern France.

This hotel in Avignon offers a great location, with a short 10-minute drive to the city center. The availability of free parking is a convenient perk. The rooms are spacious and well-maintained, providing a comfortable stay. Although the rooms are located on the second floor, the hotel staff is helpful and assists with luggage. The highlight is the amazing breakfast served in the garden, where guests can enjoy fresh orange juice from an automatic machine. The hotel also features a spa with a pool, whirlpool, steam room, and sauna that are open until late, allowing guests to relax and unwind.

Overall satisfied! Service: The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom are very clean. You can see that they are cleaned regularly. Thumbs up! There is a simple breakfast in the morning, bread and hot coffee, which is simple to fill your stomach. Environment: Very convenient in the city center Hygiene: Very good, but there is no trash can in the room, which is inconvenient. I made a trash bag myself Facilities: The elevator was broken, which was uncomfortable, but everything else was good. The only drawback is that the elevator was broken. I had to carry my 29-inch oversized luggage up two floors to get to my room. If you need an elevator, this is not recommended. Everything else is perfect!

The hotel is close to the high-speed rail station and a 40-minute drive from Arles. A Carrefour supermarket is a 5-minute drive away. The rooms are quiet and clean, with a kitchenette for simple cooking. Purified water and sparkling water are available on the first floor of the hotel. There is public parking in the back.
