The hotel is quite understated from the outside, but it is very nice inside. The staff are friendly and speak good English, and the rooms are comfortable and nicely finished. Seems very nice for the very reasonable cost. We didn’t eat breakfast but the dining room looked very nice, and I believe you can eat in their nice little terrace. I do know that their roof terrace is very nice for sundowners! :-)

Nice enough hotel and convenient for the town centre. It's rated two-star so one shouldn't expect too much but there is an air of - shall we say - money-saving about the place. Personally I was delighted to have a room with a bath and an overhead shower but there was no spare toilet roll, which is surely a basic courtesy to guests. Gentlemen please note: women use more toilet paper than men because our plumbing is less efficient! And a box of tissues by the basin means that women will use it to remove their make-up instead of the towels. In our twin room, there were two comfortable beds and a small wardrobe area plus a tiny, tiny table and a chair. This we had to use for a case because there was only one stand for a suitcase. But that is no particular fault of this hotel, it's quite common in most accommodation. The second person is presumably expected to grovel on the floor. Breakfast was a bit minimalist: small amounts of ham and cheese, yoghurts, granola and so on but just one small basket of mini-croissants and pain au chocolat, which ran out pretty quickly. I suppose we were spoilt at our previous hotel.

This establishment is run by two guys who do everything, from cleaning the rooms, providing the breakfast, etc. On the surface they are helpful and friendly, but it doesn't take much to see another side. I stayed for four days/nights as part of a cycling group. There were two issues. First, the towels were changed on only two of the days during my stay. Perhaps there is some unwritten policy to save money, or the environment, or whatever, but no satisfactory explanation was given. On one day, the bath mat wasn't supplied, making the bathroom floor slippery and potentially dangerous. It was a disagreement over a hand towel that caused the second issue. One of our group was left feeling humiliated after being told off for leaving makeup on it. Later, it led to a blazing row in front of everybody in the reception area, leaving her feeling very upset. It was so unnecessary and unprofessional. What was shocking, however, was that while we were out to dinner, someone had entered her room, switched off the a/c and drew back the curtains. It appeared to be an act of petty-mindedness to make the room as uncomfortable as possible on a very warm evening. Carpentras is a good centre for exploring Provence, but I recommend you think again before booking this particular hotel.

If I can offer any advice - stay FAR away from this hotel. They are unfriendly, terrible service, go into your room without reason, not enough food at breakfast, and terrible rooms. At the best it’s a one star. If this was the last place to stay in Carpentras I would go to another town. Consider yourself duly warned.

Lovely couple. Full of enthusiasm, kindness and welcoming. Marvellous breakfast with lots of choice from the buffet. Rooms are basic. Could do with an extra towel so you can wash your hair, although no hairdryer and some body lotion and small niceties.

Gutes kleines einfaches Hotel mit allem was man benötigt. Das Hotel wird von zwei äussert freundlichen jungen Männern geleitet. Die Zimmer sind klein und einfach aber sauber, genauso wie das Frühstück. Die Lage in Mitten der Stadt ist perfekt.
