"Staff are generally very friendly. Breakfast buffet was also good. Both light and heavy options. Room was clean, the beds/mattresses were sagging. The bathroom could be treated with antifungal spray. A few cracks in the toilet could also be better closed because of the cockroaches, which fortunately quickly hid again."

"Friends compared many restaurants and finally decided that its location is very good, it is within walking distance to important attractions, nearby is the pier where cruise ships disembark, sightseeing facilities are available, transportation is very good, about 20 minutes drive from the airport, breakfast is a simple buffet style, But cost-effective. Because it is in the equatorial region, there is no hot water after staying in a few hotels, maybe these tropical countries are like this!"

"A perfect stay in a fantastic location. The resort is a solid 10! The breakfast is fantastic, leaving nothing to be desired. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Friendly staff, plenty of loungers on the beach, snorkeling opportunities on site, and free water and sunscreen dispensers."

"The Ritz is a former ice cream factory and there are three types of accommodation on site (hostel, rooms, apartments). While staying at the hostel, I was able to use all the pools of the entire complex. There are two small communal kitchens in the hostel with basic dishes and a kettle. Breakfast can be purchased at additional cost. Downtown Punda can be reached within 10 minutes. There isn’t much of a hostel crowd, so expect things to be quieter."

Malgré que nous partagions le parking de l’hôtel nous y avons trouvé chaque soir de la place. Seul petit bémol dans la salle de bain, elle manque d’un pommeau de douche ou d’un robinet dans la douche. Je recommandecet hôtel."

"Location is the star here. The hotel sits right at the doorstep of the Queen Emma Bridge — the iconic floating pontoon bridge — with easy access to the Handelskade waterfront and Rif Fort Village. It’s immediately recognizable as part of the Willemstad skyline, easy to find, and walkable to the historic canal area and fort. If you want to be in the heart of it all, this delivers. The rooms and hotel overall feel dated but functional — comfortable enough for a base camp, nothing more. The one notable issue: the shower had a periodic sewer smell that was hard to ignore. Breakfast is included, which is a nice perk, but don’t expect variety — the selection is limited and won’t wow anyone. Bottom line: The location alone makes this worth considering, especially for travelers who want to explore Willemstad on foot. Just go in with modest expectations for the rooms and breakfast, and you’ll leave satisfied."

"We really enjoyed staying at The Rif. The hotel seems to be new and has excellent facilities for a family. We only went to one restaurant outside of the buffet and we liked it. I recommend that you make a reservation as soon as possible (10am), because I got the time wrong and when I went to make the second reservation at the end of the day, there were no more vacancies. My mistake! These are two resorts that work as one. From what I understand, guests at The Rif can freely access all the facilities of the other, but not vice versa! But honestly, I didn't see any control. The Rif is more intimate, has better drinks than its sister hotel and the pool is much calmer than the other one! That's just one characteristic. If you want more excitement, go to Mangrove. If you want something more calm, go to The Rif. The Rif is newer too! It has a water park that is really cool, for all ages! The buffet restaurant is the same for everyone. I actually found it very good, with an absurd variety of food that leaves us confused when choosing what to eat. Outside meal times, you can get quick snacks at a couple of kiosks, especially at Mangrove. The beach, while not the most beautiful compared to the rest of Curaçao's beaches, is more than enough for the hotel, and you can swim as much as you want in its comfortable waters! Many people complain about the view, because the cruise ship dock is right in front of it. We were lucky that there were no cruise ships on any of the three days we stayed there. The service... Well! This is its Achilles heel! In fact, the service is not bad, it is just dry, grumpy and most of the time, even if you thank them, they don't even give you a slight smile. It seems like everyone hates working. I must point out, however, that this is a general rule in Curaçao. It seems like everyone is always in a bad mood! I don't understand why! So, at the Riff it would be no different! There is draft beer, sparkling wine, wine and other drinks available all the time! In short: When I return to Curaçao, I will certainly stay there for 3 or 4 nights to rest!"
