The room was spacious, quite a long rectangle – it felt like a little trek from the door to the window! The shower pressure was excellent, and the washing machine and dryer were both brand new. Plus, there's a swimming pool for kids to enjoy. There aren't many dining options nearby; you'll need to drive about 7km to the nearby Pingyuan Ancient Town for food. We went to Zhijin Ancient City for a 'laoguo' (hot pot), and there's also a Temple of Wealth to explore. It's a decent choice for a stopover on the way to Zhijin Cave."

The owner offered free transportation to the visitor center, just a few minutes' drive away. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. We upgraded to a mountain view room by paying an extra fee; the view was great. It was quite clean and provided disposable towels. The hairdryer worked well. The lighting was well-designed and functional. It's a very good guesthouse in town, though its appeal is somewhat diminished by the ambiance of the entrance and lobby.

From check-in to check-out, everything was seamless. The front desk staff were wonderful, very friendly, and even helped with our luggage. Check-in was quick, and they personally escorted us to the elevator. The room was spotlessly clean, with no unpleasant renovation odors, and had an elegant, ethnic-inspired ambiance. The hallway diffuser scent was lovely, the room layout was well-designed, and the toiletries were high-quality. Breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, and the noodles were absolutely delicious. The attentive service made for a fantastic stay! They even kindly offered complimentary fruit. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to everyone!

I didn't expect to stay in such a unique Tangchi Hotel in the middle of the city. It is located at the gate of Pingyuan Ancient Town. The environment is very good, the parking lot is very convenient right at the door, and there are local specialties in front. The hotel is newly opened, and the facilities inside are very high-end. All the rooms are smart, and each room is decorated differently and has its own style. The Tangchi room has a unique charm. We are a family traveling together, and we love the parent-child room we booked. The ethnic-style room is more distinctive. There is also a large lounge in the atrium where you can drink coffee, read books, drink tea and chat. A group of us listened to music in it, and the breakfast was also very delicious.
