"After spending a night on Sanqingshan, I made my way down the mountain and checked into the resort again. Whilst my room was being cleaned, I opted to wait by the area by the lobby and it was shut. I asked a young female waitress to let me in so I can sit on a comfortable sofa whilst waiting for my room and she let me through when she realised that I was so knackered after coming down from the mountain and there was no where else to sit in the lobby. She fastened the rope behind me so no-one else could get through and left me there to rest. 10, 15 or maybe 20 minutes went by and approached the reception again and this time was given my room key and gestured where to go. I was a little annoyed for not being told that my room was ready. It was in a different wing of the resort to my previous room. This resort is huge. The room was so spacious and beautiful with a double bed. I then went downstairs to the area by the lobby to order an early lunch but was told by the young female waitress that it was closed until 12:30. I asked if I could order a 3 course meal from the menu and they can bring it up to my room. They said it was fine and I also managed to speak to the chef to see what was available. I was forewarned that it might take a while to cook. I placed my order anyway and went back to my room. The wait was worth it and all the courses were so delicious. Despite the feeling of being disorganised, most staff in this resort are really quite helpful."

"For our two-day trip to Mount Sanqing, we chose Walker Mountain Villa. Their butler service was incredibly warm and welcoming. The hotel's atmosphere was excellent, and breakfast was generous. **Cleanliness**: The room was spotless and tidy. They thoughtfully provided disposable bathtub liners and toilet seat covers, making it wonderfully comfortable to take a relaxing bath after a long day of exploring."

"Our stay at the Junlan Resort Hotel was a wonderfully restorative interlude during our trip to Mount Sanqing. After a full day of hiking and climbing, my body was exhausted. Returning to the hotel, the refreshing mountain air immediately washed away most of my fatigue. The entire hotel is nestled beautifully within the natural landscape, with its garden layout thoughtfully arranged. Strolling through the grounds in the evening, with a gentle breeze blowing, felt incredibly peaceful and far removed from the city's hustle and bustle. The guest rooms were meticulously clean, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, allowing me to fall asleep soundly after a busy day. The service was discreet yet attentive, with every staff member I encountered being polite and helpful, and any requests were promptly addressed. Breakfast offered a good mix of local specialties and standard options, leaving me feeling satisfied. The hotel's convenient location near the cable car saved us a lot of travel time. It doesn't aim for excessive luxury, but its tranquil environment and comfortable stay are its greatest strengths. If you're looking for a place to truly relax and rejuvenate after visiting Mount Sanqing, this hotel comes highly recommended."

"I had a wonderful stay at Yueshia Hotel! The facilities are excellent, and they even have a parking lot. The self-service laundry room on the second floor was a real lifesaver. The location is easy to find and very prominent. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the service was incredibly warm. The front desk staff, especially the lady at reception, was super helpful, answering all my questions and even suggesting travel routes and restaurants. It's fantastic value for money. If you're coming to Yushan for business or a trip, don't hesitate to book this place! 💯"

"We left Sanqing Mountain and headed straight to Yushan County. We arrived at the Hilton Garden Inn in the heavy rain. The room was very large and clean, the breakfast was rich in variety, parking was convenient, and there were charging stations. The front desk clerk Xia Xia was warm and thoughtful, and gave me a free room upgrade. I will stay here when I come to Yushan next time."

"The hotel's location is excellent, really close to the Jinsha cable car. After a day of sightseeing, you really appreciate how convenient it is – a 3-minute walk, no more than 5 minutes, and you're back at the hotel. The fish in the set menu at the restaurant was, well, hard to describe. When I first entered the room, there was a bit of a smell, probably due to the plum rain season. The welcome fruit was just two small pastries and two plums, which felt a bit perfunctory."

"I went hiking in Sanqing Mountain with friends during summer vacation and booked Qiyun Starry Sky Campsite on short notice. I initially thought it was just a last-minute place to stay, but it completely exceeded my expectations! Now, a few days later, thinking back on this amazing campsite, I've decided to write a heartfelt review 🙆🏻♀️🥰 because the overall experience was absolutely fantastic. First, their starry sky glass room offers an incredible view. It was very clean, and all the amenities were new, probably because it's only been open for a few months. You can directly face the continuous mountain peaks. During the day, you can watch the clouds drift among the mountains; in the evening, you can quietly watch the sunset paint the mountains red; and at night, you can look up and see a dazzling starry sky. Luckily, I saw all of these! The staff specially reserved a room with a mountain view for me 🥹. The rooms were all spotless and fully equipped. Our starry sky room didn't have a private bathroom, but they have a separate public bathroom, though the showers are individual, and hot water is available 24 hours a day. The staff were exceptionally attentive, responding promptly to any needs and even thoughtfully providing information on the best times to watch the sea of ​​clouds and sunrise. We also had dinner at another guesthouse downstairs that evening, just a two or three-minute walk away. The food was pretty good, making up for the disappointment of not having food at the campsite, haha ​​🫰🏻 So if you're planning to go hiking in Sanqingshan, you should check out this place, because it's located on the mountain, near Yixiantian (a narrow gorge), and very close to attractions like Yutai Shenlong Xisong (a scenic spot), so you don't have to get up early to queue for the cable car. Highly recommended!"

"Coming from Inner Mongolia with my kids and elderly parents, this hotel was a fantastic find. Its location is superb, right near the Jinsha cableway, and the service was absolutely amazing. Hiking was exhausting, but the hotel provided such a comforting atmosphere. Our room was clean and cozy, and we all got some really good rest. A special shout-out to the young lady at the front desk with glasses – her smile was incredibly sweet, she was so patient and just radiated warmth. She definitely deserves a promotion and a raise!"

"We were traveling with kids, and I figured a day trip up the mountain would be too tiring, so I booked the Goddess Hotel. From the Jinsha Cable Car, it's about a 30-minute to an hour's walk to the Goddess Hotel, which isn't too strenuous. Behind the hotel, you can hike up to Yuxutai, Yumikawai, and Yixiantian (One-Line Sky). It takes about an hour to get to Yixiantian, which is also manageable. It's cooler on the mountain, so the rooms don't have air conditioning. The rooms are small, but the beds can be pushed together, which was enough for us to sleep comfortably. Since all supplies have to be carried up manually, the higher prices are understandable. The room water is from a mountain spring and can be boiled and drunk directly. The stone mushroom and old duck soup at the restaurant was delicious, though it was pricey at 298 for a pot. But the kids all said it was good, so it was worth it. If your budget allows and the weather is good, consider staying on the mountain. You can catch the sunset at West Coast in the evening and the sunrise from the hotel or Yuxutai in the morning. However, we encountered a typhoon, so the weather was bad this time. It started raining in the evening, and the cable car was even shut down the next day. We had to hike down, and my legs felt like they were going to break! From behind the Goddess Hotel, you climb down ladders to the Waishuangxi Cable Car, which takes about 1.5 hours. From that cable car, it's another 1.5 to 2.5 hours to walk down to the foot of the mountain, depending on your pace. For those with strong legs, it's 1.5 hours; my legs were hurting, so it took me 2.5 hours."
