"After spending a night on Sanqingshan, I made my way down the mountain and checked into the resort again. Whilst my room was being cleaned, I opted to wait by the area by the lobby and it was shut. I asked a young female waitress to let me in so I can sit on a comfortable sofa whilst waiting for my room and she let me through when she realised that I was so knackered after coming down from the mountain and there was no where else to sit in the lobby. She fastened the rope behind me so no-one else could get through and left me there to rest. 10, 15 or maybe 20 minutes went by and approached the reception again and this time was given my room key and gestured where to go. I was a little annoyed for not being told that my room was ready. It was in a different wing of the resort to my previous room. This resort is huge. The room was so spacious and beautiful with a double bed. I then went downstairs to the area by the lobby to order an early lunch but was told by the young female waitress that it was closed until 12:30. I asked if I could order a 3 course meal from the menu and they can bring it up to my room. They said it was fine and I also managed to speak to the chef to see what was available. I was forewarned that it might take a while to cook. I placed my order anyway and went back to my room. The wait was worth it and all the courses were so delicious. Despite the feeling of being disorganised, most staff in this resort are really quite helpful."

"For our two-day trip to Mount Sanqing, we chose Walker Mountain Villa. Their butler service was incredibly warm and welcoming. The hotel's atmosphere was excellent, and breakfast was generous. **Cleanliness**: The room was spotless and tidy. They thoughtfully provided disposable bathtub liners and toilet seat covers, making it wonderfully comfortable to take a relaxing bath after a long day of exploring."

"We spent wonderful 3 days in the Sanqingshan Junlan Resort. The hotel’s territory is very nice, the room is spacious and clean, beds are very comfortable. Breakfast is great, good variety of Chinese and European food. The location of the hotel is perfect for sightseeing, it’s just 20 min walk or max 5 min drive from Jinsha cableway. I highly suggest to go up by Jinsha cableway and get down by Waishuangxi Cableway. You’ll see all the beauties of Sanqingshan without returning. It takes app. 25 min by taxi from Waishuangxi to the hotel. The way from Jinsha to Waishuangxi is much easier. If you start from Waishuangxi you have to go upstairs much more. We’re absolutely satisfied with our stay in the hotel and highly recommend it and the whole scenic area, it’s fantastic!"

"I had a wonderful stay at Yueshia Hotel! The facilities are excellent, and they even have a parking lot. The self-service laundry room on the second floor was a real lifesaver. The location is easy to find and very prominent. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the service was incredibly warm. The front desk staff, especially the lady at reception, was super helpful, answering all my questions and even suggesting travel routes and restaurants. It's fantastic value for money. If you're coming to Yushan for business or a trip, don't hesitate to book this place! 💯"

"We left Sanqing Mountain and headed straight to Yushan County. We arrived at the Hilton Garden Inn in the heavy rain. The room was very large and clean, the breakfast was rich in variety, parking was convenient, and there were charging stations. The front desk clerk Xia Xia was warm and thoughtful, and gave me a free room upgrade. I will stay here when I come to Yushan next time."

"I booked this hotel at the foot of Mount Sanqing late in the evening, solely for the duplex layout. I didn't even check its location before booking, only to realize the next day when buying tickets that it's right next to the scenic area entrance – what a fantastic location! The next few photos are taken from the hotel's rooftop terrace – so beautiful! Oh, and summer in Sanqing Mountain is quite cool, though it can be a bit rainy. Sometimes you go up the mountain and it's so foggy you can't see anything, like being in the clouds. Now, about the stay itself. Even though it's a duplex, the bed on the first floor is a small one, tucked by the window near the staircase bend. It really only feels suitable for one person. If you're traveling with more people, this room configuration isn't ideal. My family of four (including two grown children) felt quite cramped sleeping there for one night. Actually, the first-floor space is quite large, but the hotel has used the bigger part for the living room. The sofa and coffee table just look out of place with the rest of the furniture, very mismatched and frankly, a bit low-rent. I can't help but wonder why they didn't just put a large bed on the first floor. That way, both levels of the duplex would have a big bed, and it would still feel spacious – wouldn't that be better? Oh, and here's a crucial point: the hotel's room hygiene definitely needs major improvement. On the toilet seat in the second-floor bathroom, we found some unidentified excrement *before* we even used it. When I communicated this to the staff, all I got was a simple ”sorry.” I ended up sanitizing the seat myself. Honestly, such disgusting hygiene issues are quite off-putting. I really hope they can strengthen their improvements in the future! Aside from that, everything else was quite satisfactory."

"I went hiking in Sanqing Mountain with friends during summer vacation and booked Qiyun Starry Sky Campsite on short notice. I initially thought it was just a last-minute place to stay, but it completely exceeded my expectations! Now, a few days later, thinking back on this amazing campsite, I've decided to write a heartfelt review 🙆🏻♀️🥰 because the overall experience was absolutely fantastic. First, their starry sky glass room offers an incredible view. It was very clean, and all the amenities were new, probably because it's only been open for a few months. You can directly face the continuous mountain peaks. During the day, you can watch the clouds drift among the mountains; in the evening, you can quietly watch the sunset paint the mountains red; and at night, you can look up and see a dazzling starry sky. Luckily, I saw all of these! The staff specially reserved a room with a mountain view for me 🥹. The rooms were all spotless and fully equipped. Our starry sky room didn't have a private bathroom, but they have a separate public bathroom, though the showers are individual, and hot water is available 24 hours a day. The staff were exceptionally attentive, responding promptly to any needs and even thoughtfully providing information on the best times to watch the sea of ​​clouds and sunrise. We also had dinner at another guesthouse downstairs that evening, just a two or three-minute walk away. The food was pretty good, making up for the disappointment of not having food at the campsite, haha ​​🫰🏻 So if you're planning to go hiking in Sanqingshan, you should check out this place, because it's located on the mountain, near Yixiantian (a narrow gorge), and very close to attractions like Yutai Shenlong Xisong (a scenic spot), so you don't have to get up early to queue for the cable car. Highly recommended!"

"Coming from Inner Mongolia with my kids and elderly parents, this hotel was a fantastic find. Its location is superb, right near the Jinsha cableway, and the service was absolutely amazing. Hiking was exhausting, but the hotel provided such a comforting atmosphere. Our room was clean and cozy, and we all got some really good rest. A special shout-out to the young lady at the front desk with glasses – her smile was incredibly sweet, she was so patient and just radiated warmth. She definitely deserves a promotion and a raise!"

"The hotel's location is excellent. We booked a room with a view directly facing the 'Goddess' statue, which my child absolutely loved. The room was clean and tidy, and all the toiletries were provided. The temperature was comfortable. Although the breakfast selection wasn't extensive, the food was delicious. The hotel also offers free luggage storage. The front desk staff were very helpful and answered many of our questions. Overall, it's a highly recommended place to stay on the mountain."
