"Traveling solo, I chose The Landy Hotel, and it perfectly matched my aesthetic. The overall design features a simple, natural wood style with no excessive decoration. The room layout felt relaxed and comfortable, and the floor-to-ceiling window framed the garden view like a painting. The outdoor garden is meticulously maintained, with plants thoughtfully arranged and winding paths that make for a wonderfully quiet stroll, far from the hustle and bustle. The room was clean and tidy, the amenities felt high-quality, and the staff were very friendly. I felt incredibly peaceful staying here all day – it’s a great place to unwind and recharge alone. "We booked a suite with a sofa in the living room for playing cards. The overall decor and cleanliness were quite good by county standards, and the room was a reasonable size. The downside was that the hotel faces a street, a road with heavy traffic at night, making the noise quite noticeable. Of course, the hotel owner had called us on the day of check-in to let us know about the street frontage and the noise. I didn't think it was too serious at first, but it was actually quite loud, so I brought earplugs (they're included in the hotel rooms). Light sleepers should exercise caution."

"Surrounded by mountains and water, the environment is beautiful, a weekend away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We stayed in a tent room, and listening to the river and the chirping of insects at night was very relaxing. The boss is a man of taste. He spent his own money to build roads and keep the place beautiful. It feels like the boss really regards this place as his own business. There are many beautiful flowers and plants planted in the garden, as well as chestnut trees, hawthorn trees, and walnut trees. You can pick them in autumn, but now you can only admire them. Corn and vegetables are also planted. The coffee shop tastes very good, much better than the ones in the city. The boss is very attentive. He drove out to lead the way in the middle of the night for fear that we would not find the way. I heard that the boss used to be a director and can cook. He personally cooked barbecue for us and made delicious Chongqing noodles, which were awesome. 👍🏻 The place is still under renovation, and the two bungalows are being renovated so that people can live in it in winter. However, there are some unsatisfactory aspects: (1) There is no TV signal. There is internet, but the quality is average, so be careful if you bring elderly people with you. (2) The room design is not satisfactory. There is no door between the bathroom and the room, and the toilet is directly open, which is very inconvenient for multiple people to live in. (3) The door from the room to the small courtyard outside cannot be locked, which is a bit unsafe. (4) There are definitely some small insects in the mountains, especially mosquitoes near the water."

I chose it from the picture. I was relatively satisfied after I checked in. As shown in the picture, there is a balcony. Going to Xinglong Mountain and Honghe rafting around the convenient and cost-effective hotel, the boss family is very enthusiastic, coincides with the Mid-Autumn Festival, sent moon cakes, fruits, chestnuts, when checking in, the boss told the surrounding tourism which is worth a visit, which scenic spots are closed, and it is very wrong to go less. The farmhouse was lovely, a 5-minute walk from Xinglong Mountain Scenic Area. The courtyard was clean, spacious, and bright. A small slope opposite the courtyard led uphill, where orchards and cornfields lined both sides, creating a tranquil environment. I enjoyed a morning stroll with my dog ​​along the paths through the fields. The courtyard had no walls, but was surrounded by its own homegrown vegetables: scallions, chili peppers, lettuce, bok choy, and other greens. The owner's cooking was superb, far exceeding our expectations for farmhouse meals. All the ingredients were homegrown, purely organic, resulting in a unique and flavorful taste. The stir-fried pork with chili peppers was fragrant, the tofu and vermicelli casserole was delicious, the stewed chicken was tender, and the pork belly stew with green beans was flavorful. Every dish was delicious, satisfying, and generously portioned. We even made a special trip back to have lunch there on our second trip to Xinglong Mountain. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the place was quiet at night. Overall, it's a friendly, down-to-earth, and affordable farmhouse, highly recommended, and deserves a five-star rating.
