"We weren't informed before check-in that the public hot spring bath was undergoing maintenance. To make matters worse, the maintenance schedule posted on-site didn't even match the actual situation, which was a real letdown. The complimentary bicycles were quite old and dilapidated, a slight minus. However, guests could sign up for the mochi pounding activity, and a buffet dinner was also available for an additional charge. These two aspects were quite good and added some positive points back."

The food truly stood out. The variety was impressive, and the taste was exceptional. Fresh ingredients and thoughtful presentation made every meal a pleasure. And the freshly made Danzai noodles? Simply fantastic.

"The selling point of this hotel should be its hot spring. The equipment of the hot spring pool is very new, and the water is clear. He seems to be very responsible and I had a pleasant chat with him! It is a restaurant with very high CP value! The breakfast was better than expected! Next time I pass by, I will visit again~"

"The ocean view from our room window was beautiful, making this a truly relaxing place to stay. At night, enjoying the sea breeze while lying on a lounge chair and stargazing was a wonderful experience and a true pleasure.
Upon arrival, the manager would introduce guests to Green Island's scenery, recommend local spots, and suggest restaurants. This thoughtful service helped first-time visitors get a good overview before their trip.
Check-out was at 10:00 AM. With our ferry scheduled for 12:30 PM, we thought checking out by 10:00 AM would leave us enough time for breakfast before heading to the pier. So, around 9:50 AM, we went downstairs to check out, but there was no staff member available to assist. We later found a staff member casually patching walls and watering plants. This is definitely an area for improvement. Given the scheduled 10:00 AM check-out time, it would be advisable for the front desk to have dedicated staff available to process check-outs. This would prevent guests who might be in a hurry from having to search for staff and needlessly wait. Even after sending a message to customer service, we received no reply."

"There are a few parking spots in the basement, so you'll have to be lucky to find one. Otherwise, park along the white lines on the road. There are small cookies and popcorn near the lobby, but the popcorn is quite sparse. Aiyu and millet porridge are available at 8:00 PM.
The room on the third floor was nice, as the water dispenser and ice machine are located there. It was clean and spacious for four people. The bathroom had separate wet and dry areas, but the hot water took a long time to get hot. The sleep was comfortable, with a nice quilt and pillow. The water, cookies, and drinks in the room were complimentary, and the complimentary beer at check-out was a nice touch.
The hot spring on the first floor consists of two pools, but there's no shower area, which is a shame. I was so wet I just wanted to shower, so I had to wrap a towel and walk back to my room.
The breakfast was average, but the fly infestation was a concern. Many items were uncovered, and flies also flew onto the food on the table, which was a bit annoying."

Route 8101A and Express A (ferry harbor) bus stop is not too far from the hotel if east coastal attractions and the Green Island are your destinations. 8101A departs once a day at 8:30 to major sightseeings along the coastal highway in a cruise ship style ride with 30 to 60 minute stay at each attraction and then returns to the departure stop in a close loop. Express A to the ferry harbor in 20 minute ride with a 30 minute bus interval."

JJamie C JamieThe Lude Hotel is about a ten-minute walk from the transfer station near Tiehua Village. The atmosphere inside the hotel is quiet and comfortable. The public space on the ground floor is ample and well-lit, allowing guests to sit back, relax, and enjoy the plants in the courtyard. It's a truly pleasant experience.
The single room is small but has all the basic amenities. There's an elevator to all floors. I would choose to stay here again in the future.

GGuest UserPool was under maintenance during the period of stay. Location though at night market was still a distance away from railway station. Taxi fare abt TWD220. There was hotel shuttle service but no clear instructions on how to book in advance. Info not available on trip.com. Concierge staff did not readily offer the service also. Was told only available to members. Not for 3rd party booking. Am disappointed.
Room was spacious. 2 queen size beds. But toilet and bathroom were small. Head will hit the door if I sit at toilet bowl and lean just a bit forward. The bathroom door hits the rain shower head, so if not notice, and open the door with force may break the glass door.
Yellow lights in the room were very dim. Make ambience cozy and classy but very straining to the eyes.
2 out of 3 laundry machines out of order. Laundry powder did not dispense from vending machine. Hv to change coins at lobby when laundry is at 6th floor.
Overall, not quite up to expectations unfortunately.

The decoration of the restaurant has a homey feel. The room is not big, but it is just right for staying in. The mattress and pillows are very good for sleeping!

LLolitaI was very surprised as from the few pictures I have seen it looked small but in fact I found the small room they offer rather enough. The bathroom was huge. The bed is nice too. The reception and the breakfast rooms are well decorated and very enjoyable. Great location on top of that ! Nearby night market. And a great thanks to the young man at the reception who took time to help me park my big car.

The room was spacious, with a separate wet and dry bathroom. The outlet next to the bed was located under a wooden platform, so I had to search for it. The hotel itself is old, and the facilities feel very dated. While it boasts a large swimming pool and spa areas, they were unusable during our stay as they were running with cold water. We didn’t see anyone using them. The “beauty pool,” which was advertised as having heated water, was disappointing due to a strong sewer-like smell. Additionally, the sauna is not complimentary for hotel guests, which felt unreasonable.
The dining experience was also underwhelming. The à la carte food in the restaurant was below average in quality, the portions were small, and the prices were high. However, the atmosphere was pleasant, though it felt odd being the only customers at 8 p.m. On a brighter note, the breakfast was excellent. I would rate it four stars for its variety of local and aboriginal food, which was a highlight of the stay.
The timing of activities for kids was inconvenient as well. While kids could play pool and ping pong for free in the evening (after we arrived at 7 p.m.), all other activities were scheduled for late morning or early afternoon, after checkout time.
The hotel’s location is another drawback. It is far from restaurants and busy areas, making it necessary to have a car or take a taxi.
The one positive aspect of our stay was the room. We booked the premium family room/suite, which provided separate sleeping areas for parents and kids—a feature we appreciated. However, this came at a premium price, costing 25% more. I had requested a room with a view, and the front desk clerk was accommodating, which I appreciated.
Overall, while the room and breakfast were nice, the rest of the experience didn’t justify the cost or the inconvenience. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel unless significant improvements are made to the facilities and services.

The accommodation is the best value for money and is friendly to non-smoking guests. The bathroom appliances are functioning properly and intact. The only drawback is the lack of hooks and countertop space.

GGuest UserThe location is quite close to Tiehua Village, and it is convenient to eat out. It's a pity that the soundproofing inside the hotel is not good. The children next door were too noisy on the night of my stay, and the sound of cars passing by on the road could also be heard, which affected my sleep quality. However, the breakfast has vegetarian and meat flavors, which makes people feel warm!

Yyona vanI had booked a room in the “hostel” section, but it’s actually more of a hotel pretending to also be a hostel. The cleanliness in the room left much to be desired (from what i could see the window sill is clearly never cleaned, hair on the clean sheets, etc.). On top of that, the lockers are fake in the sense that they don’t lock, so they’re basically just cupboards that anyone can open.
As for the bathroom, some of the shower doors are broken and were literally left abandoned inside the shower. What was my surprise to see that there were cockroaches ?? The next day, I came back to the room to take a shower and there was no electricity in the bathroom anymore.
I asked for compensation because the price I paid was completely disproportionate to the state of the facilities. The receptionist was friendly and offered to move me to a private room (in the hotel section), but the problems continued: when I opened the bathroom door, I once again found cockroaches. Moreover, the humidity doesn’t seem to evacuate properly, and there’s a nauseating smell inside. The lock on the door leading from the room to the hallway doesn’t work. The finishing of the construction work is terrible, nothing is right.
In short, my advice is : do not come to this hotel.
