It's a shame the weather wasn't ideal, but I'm planning to come back again in the summer!"

"I never expected to find such a wonderful guesthouse on this island. The landlady was incredibly kind, like family. She prepared a delicious breakfast for me every day and readily agreed to let me get up early, getting up at 5 a.m. to help me out. I was truly touched. The room was spotless and made me feel incredibly safe. Unfortunately, the weather prevented me from exploring properly this time, but I look forward to my next visit.

For me was really big surprise that near Shanghai have such a small and cute place.
We choose this hotel because of the pool. It’s was so amazing to open balcony and see u private pool. Actually one pool is sharing between 2 room but nobody swim, so everything was only for us.
Also the staff in the hotel is helpful, helped with booking tickets, explained about islands, took us to show bioluminescent plankton.
Could be nice if hotel provide one free coffee for breakfast (now need to pay) and some international food (was traditional chinese breakfast)"

"The first time I gave a hearty evaluation on the Internet to a hearty hotel. Before I came, the hotel just went online. There was no evaluation. I couldn't bear it. My wife really liked it. The mentality of trying it was decided. The temporary Guanlan was left.
The luckiest thing to come to Flower and Bird Island is to grab the scarce Guanlan room type.
There are only three rooms in the entire hotel, and the location is really irreplaceable. The housekeeper informed the sunrise time in advance before check-in. In the early morning, he slowly opened the curtains by leaning on Xiaodu and crashing into the sunrise on the sea in his eyes. It was a great surprise for this trip.
If you can't grab Guanlan, you don't have to regret it. The cornerstone in the hotel is the commanding height of Huaxiao Island, and it is also an excellent sunrise viewing point. We have also visited other room types, facing the lighthouse, the sunset atmosphere is directly full, each is a real sea view room, each has its own scenery.
It must have taken a lot of effort to build such a hotel on the cliff. The boss treats people sincerely, and the butler team is meticulous and warm.
The hotel has prepared sea fishing tools and fish rafts, you can go to the private beach to catch the sea to pick up fun; the infinity pool is slow to play in the water, and the days are relaxed and healing.

"The hotel is located in the core area of Shengsi Island, adjacent to Qin Park. It takes only 5 minutes to reach the beach by electric car. It is very pleasant to take a walk in the morning and evening. There are complete restaurants and convenience stores around. It takes about 15 minutes to take a taxi to Lizhushan Pier, with convenient transportation.
The room is spacious and clean, and you can watch the sunset. The latex mattress and down pillow are really comfortable, and the shower water pressure is sufficient.
The front desk staff is very enthusiastic and professional, and gave away fruit, which is very sweet. The 24-hour free laundry room and dryer are very practical for island tours!

I have always wanted to have a chance to visit Shengsi, the easternmost part of the motherland, to see the sunrise and sunset. I chose Wind Villa because it only takes ten minutes to walk to the East Cliff Cliff to watch the sunrise, and it is very close to the No Man's Village and Xiyang Bay to watch the sunset. In addition, you can watch the sunset and the waves of the sea by sitting in front of the floor-to-ceiling window in the room. As soon as I entered the hotel, I was attracted by the pure white decoration style, which was full of Instagram style. I felt that I would not feel lonely drinking coffee here for an afternoon. We brought our kids to Gouqi Island for the weekend and stayed at this guesthouse – it was fantastic! The location is super convenient, right by the sea with several free beaches downstairs, perfect for kids. You can enjoy sea views and a sea breeze right from your room. The room was clean and tidy, very comfortable to stay in, and the soundproofing facing the sea was excellent. The owner was incredibly warm and thoughtful. Before we even arrived, they recommended sightseeing routes and helped us arrange a driver. When we got to the guesthouse, they even helped us with our luggage. We could ask them anything we needed, and the whole trip was completely hassle-free.

This is what I liked:
- buying ship ticket for May holiday was mission impossible, starting with Tickets App not accepting foreign passports. Hotel helped me with arranging the tickets both ways, even after there were no tickets online (sold out in 20 min)
- they arranged a pick us up on arrival and brought us back to the pier on departure
- hotel has an excellent sea view location, very silent and sea centric rooms, same for restaurant
- everything is modern, I specifically liked ability to share Apple screens on TV in the room, great way to review photos and watch own movies in the evening
- good breakfast 8 to 9AM, you can come 8:45 and enjoy a late breakfast as well; we also had late lunch in hotel restaurant on arrival, great food, great to seat outside, flexible working hours (not closed 14-17!), actually I liked their meals more than what we had on the main beach top restaurant, finally reception can brew you a coffee though bit hot
- there is 20 min walk from the hotel for a great bay and coffee place to watch sunset, excellent experience and no need to wake up early
- hotel was always online on WeChat to address any issues or questions, including how to organize a day, fantastic services!
- hotel has own beach area, looks like good to swim, I will consider for summer, water is clean on the island, and this is just couple of hours from Shanghai
- small drawback: fishing boats pass by from early morning, this may disturb your morning sleep ;)
- other thing the bed is a bit too hard for my back, but where did you see soft beds in China?

happy4everzoeIf you want to drive with your dog and want a sea view, this is the first choice
Shengsi is not big, so it only takes 20 minutes to drive to the pier, and 10 minutes to various scenic spots (Jihu Lake, Donghai Five Fishing Village... and 25 minutes to Qicai Reef to watch the sunset)
The hotel also has a restaurant with meals, but it is also very convenient to drive to the county town to eat seafood or to the Donghai Five Fish Village Seafood Street.
The hotel has a private beach (with a lot of sand and rocks), and there is also a beach on the Left Bank Road a short walk away. There are very few people there, so you can rent the entire beach for yourself. It is very convenient to bring your dog to play on the beach. The hotel itself is on the Left Bank Road, built on a cliff, so you can watch the sunrise directly from your room.
The sanitation service is very good. You can consult the housekeeper for any questions. It happened to be my birthday. The room was decorated with some atmosphere. Although the breakfast was not a buffet, it was very rich. They also made coffee for me, which was very comfortable.
This time we happened to encounter a force 10 gale and were unable to return on schedule. The housekeeper was very considerate and told us how to book the next ferry ticket and even brought some dog food for the dog.
The only drawback may be that there are too many steps. We originally booked Building 4, which has an elevator in the lobby. Because of the water pipe problem in Building 4, we upgraded to Building 6 before moving in. Although Building 6 has the highest view and the best view, it is indeed the farthest building and has too many steps, which is not very friendly to the elderly. My dog originally had a ligament injury and it was a bit difficult to go up and down the stairs with my arms held the whole time. It is more suitable for young people to stay in. The view is also very good as it is a single-family building and quiet.

The location is pretty good, and the owner of Qunar B&B can also help call a taxi. The room was pretty good and clean. The sea view from the sea view room was beautiful at first glance. Guest UserThis guesthouse is a hidden gem! The room was spotless and incredibly bright, with all the amenities you could need. The host was incredibly warm and thoughtful, and communication was a breeze. The location is super convenient for getting around, and the whole place felt cozy and comfortable. Excellent value for money, a perfect stay, and definitely worth coming back to.
A special shout-out to the owner, who was so welcoming and considerate. Right after I booked, they called to offer travel tips, which was a huge help since it was my first time in Shengsi. There are also two adorable dogs in the courtyard. In the evenings, a few of us young people had drinks and chatted about life – I've never felt so relaxed. If I ever come back, I'll definitely choose this place again!

It is located in Shengshan Island Fishing Port, about 10 minutes walk from the passenger terminal. The windows of the sea view room have only single-layer sound insulation. If there are fishing boats coming back from fishing at night, it will be a little noisy, but it is really interesting to watch.
