"Overall it’s one of the better hotels in central Shanglin overlooking a man-made lake with a walk / run track around the perimeter.  Close to night market and restaurants.  Only reason I don’t give an excellent rating is that our first assigned room was dirty (sticky floor) and had some damage.  We got moved across the hall and the second room was very comfortable, clean, and quiet.  Not sure why we were such a poor room when the hotel had plenty of rooms available.  Breakfast buffet was satisfactory - good bowl of noodle soup and fried eggs available."

"This B&B is the most satisfying of my entire trip to Guangxi. The living experience is great and the scenery is beautiful. We arrived late that day. We drove from the mountain to the B&B and saw many fireflies along the way. The owner had already prepared dinner when we arrived. The ingredients were very fresh and delicious.
