"This was my third visit to Jiuhua Mountain. The previous two times, I stayed at Arcadia in Zhubei Town. This time, I brought my parents and decided to try this hotel instead. It exceeded my expectations! We stayed one night and had breakfast, lunch, and dinner there.
Breakfast was pretty standard but filling, and it was quite busy. The Chinese restaurant for lunch is absolutely worth going to! The stinky mandarin fish was better than what we had at the lakeside restaurant on the first floor, though their hairy tofu was better there. The stir-fried pork with bamboo shoots and wood ear mushrooms was absolutely delicious, and the prices were reasonable with a nice ambiance.
For dinner, the Western buffet was 70 RMB per person for hotel guests, which I thought was a good deal. The seafood wasn't super fresh, but each person got a large hairy crab. After a hike, it was nice to have some hot pot. I'll definitely be back again this year and will stay at this hotel."

"During my pilgrimage to Jiuhua Mountain, I stumbled upon a wonderful hotel. The price was reasonable, and the service was excellent. The receptionist, Xiao Wang, was incredibly friendly and even upgraded us to a better room. We originally planned to visit the front of Jiuhua Mountain, but we mistakenly booked the back. However, it was definitely worth it because the hot spring resort was very vegetarian-friendly, with a dedicated vegetarian section offering a variety of options. For anyone planning a pilgrimage to Jiuhua Mountain, I highly recommend the Alkadi Hotel! And remember to look for Xiao Wang at the reception! He's a very kind and helpful person!"

"This was my first time visiting Jiuhua Mountain to burn incense and pray. The hotel I stayed at was excellent; the environment was great, and the hotel itself was new. The surrounding area had complete amenities, with many restaurants to choose from. Most importantly, it was right across the street from Exit 4 of the Dayuan Cultural Park, making it very convenient to reach the Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva statue. The lobby staff were very gentle and had a great attitude. When booking the hotel, I specifically noted the special needs of my elderly family member, and the staff made very thoughtful arrangements. Since I was traveling alone, they even suggested choosing a single room for a better price, which was very touching. The room was well-equipped and quite new. There was even a book that guests were allowed to take home, so I apologize for taking it with me. The hotel's garden design was novel and unique. The hotel had many guest rooms, and the breakfast was clean and plentiful. Overall, I had a perfect experience and will definitely stay at this hotel again next time. "I must give it a thumbs up👍 This time I went to Kuhuayaki and I couldn’t stay on the mountain for some reason. I wanted to give it a try and found a B&B at the bottom of the mountain. Unexpectedly, I found a treasure. The store is located near the visitor center and is convenient for taking the shuttle bus. , the first floor is its own small supermarket with rich items, the room is on the second floor, the decoration is very new and clean, there is plenty of hot water, the central air conditioning is also very powerful, all the facilities and equipment are good, and the most important thing is that there is an open-air balcony. You can see the 99-meter Buddha from the terrace. You must know that this is a room of about 160! ! !
The boss is also very enthusiastic. I have to leave at 5:30 the next morning, and the boss sets an alarm clock of 4:50 to open the store for me👍👍👍

"I originally booked for one night, but ended up extending for two more right after checking out! Pin Song Bie Yuan is just a 5-minute walk from the transfer center, and there's a supermarket and restaurants right outside, making shopping incredibly convenient. The room was so clean you couldn't find a speck of dust, and the solid wood decor exuded a sense of Zen. The owner gave us a tour route that helped us avoid crowds, making for a truly wonderful stay."

"This was my first stay at an Atour Hotel. The front desk check-in process was very efficient, and the staff proactively offered excellent suggestions for local attractions and transportation, which was incredibly helpful for planning my outings. Much appreciated!
I do have one small suggestion: It would be great if the room's entrance door could be adjusted. It tends to make quite a bit of noise when opened or closed, which can be disruptive and affect one's rest."

GGuest UserI went to Jiuhua Mountain in the fifth year. The homestay I had stayed in was fully booked, so I met Xiangli.
Although there were some unpleasantness at the beginning (actually it was probably caused by the pick-up and drop-off service they outsourced), everything was very nice afterwards.
First of all, the geographical location is very good, right next to Huacheng Temple.
Secondly, I asked the housekeeper on WeChat and the reply was very prompt and the problem was always solved quickly.
The afternoon tea provided was very rich and also took children into consideration. Because of the afternoon tea, we decided to have lunch at the B&B the next day, and we were not disappointed, the food was delicious. They also proactively provided an extra quilt and sheets, which could turn the tatami into a small bed, and the children were very happy.
In the end, because of an unintentional mistake, the cost of the chicken soup was waived.
Although they are all small details, what a B&B does is to present the details in a concrete way.
This time the stay experience was very good. Will continue to stay here every time in the future.
The magnolia in the yard is a big plus.

I have stayed in many guesthouses across China, but this one stands out in a very special way. From the very first moment, the communication via WeChat was friendly, quick, and reliable – even though my Chinese is limited and the staff’s English is not extensive. Still, everything worked beautifully. Warm, patient, uncomplicated. It already gives you the feeling that you are in good hands.
I stayed for two days, and throughout my entire time there, everything was perfectly organized. I was picked up right on time upon arrival – an invaluable service in a mountain area that can be a little confusing for newcomers. The guesthouse itself is extremely comfortable: warm, well-designed rooms with excellent facilities, a huge screen, electric curtains, cozy bedding, and all the small details that make travel easier. I immediately felt welcomed and well taken care of.
During my stay, the staff assisted me with everything I needed, always with kindness and without any complications. When it was time to leave, they also arranged transport back to my bus at exactly the time I requested. Truly flawless service.
But the most extraordinary highlight was something I did not expect at all: the free guided tour that the homestay organizes for all their guests. They drove us to the starting point, and then we spent the day walking through the misty mountain paths, visiting nine of the most important temples on Jiuhuashan. It was magical – quiet, mysterious, deeply atmospheric. Our guide took wonderful care of everyone, explained so much about the temples, the mountain, the history, and the spirit of Dizang Bodhisattva, and created a sense of depth that went far beyond sightseeing.
This was not a tourist activity.
It was a spiritual and cultural experience – something you can only receive from people who truly love their mountain and want to share it with others. In the fog, among ancient stones, incense smoke, and the sound of footsteps on wet leaves, one begins to understand why Jiuhuashan has been a sacred place for centuries.
My conclusion:
This homestay offers not only comfort, warmth, and excellent service, but also a genuine connection to the spiritual heart of Jiuhuashan. I can recommend Tanxiangyuan Homestay without any hesitation. For pilgrims, travelers, lovers of nature, or anyone seeking a meaningful experience, this place is simply perfect. I am grateful for every moment I spent there.

We were among the first to go up the mountain, so there was no crowding at all. I had originally planned my own itinerary to explore from top to bottom. On the day we checked in, the host was very thoughtful and recommended a great sightseeing route that perfectly leveraged the hotel's location. The Huangjing tea at the hotel was delicious, so I bought a can to take home.

They warmly opened the floor heating in the room in advance. The room was warm and comfortable. The quilt was dry and tidy and smelled very clean. Because I took the elderly, I lived for two days, most of the time I ate in the store. The kitchen was very clean and tasted good. It was no different from the outside restaurant. I also warmly helped us leave the chicken soup that was not finished to the evening. I used to come to Jiuhuashan every year, this time I lived the most comfortable time. AAnonymous UserI chose the family room at Yuanhang Hotel based on Ctrip reviews and its proximity to the Cultural Park. The room itself was decent.
However, the hotel seemed to have very few guests, resulting in no air conditioning in common areas like the lobby and corridors. It was sweltering hot the moment you stepped out of your room. Additionally, our room was quite a distance from the elevator, and we'd be drenched in sweat just walking there.
While I can understand conserving electricity due to low occupancy, the entire hotel felt deserted. Breakfast was also very subpar, with one of the salted duck eggs even being spoiled.
The only redeeming quality was the Chinese restaurant, which offered good food and generous portions.
Despite the staff being very friendly, the overall state of the hotel's facilities severely impacted our stay, making for an unpleasant experience.
I had initially hoped to walk to the Cultural Park, but it was too hot, so we ended up taking a taxi for a flat rate of 10 RMB. This effectively negated the benefit of the hotel's location for walking.
I believe this hotel might be more suitable for guests visiting Mount Jiuhua who prioritize being close to the visitor center.

Room is clean and functional .
Am an easy traveller and very satisfied with the hotel. Of course you can walk around and look for a hotel (there are many many hotels !!!!!!) but I think if u pre book u will make your life easier especially if u have a luggage.
He planned the itinerary for me. and it was a very fulfilling walking trip in nature visiting temples and paying respects to 地藏菩萨 .
So many restaurants too!!!!!!!!

We arrived by high-speed train, and the hotel arranged a pick-up for us directly from the scenic area's entrance. On our departure day, we could leave our luggage at the front desk. Later, after we came down from the mountain, a simple call to the hotel was enough, and they sent staff to deliver our luggage to us. Highly recommended.

It is said to be a ten-year-old hotel, but it does not look old. The overall hygiene is still very good. The breakfast is also good. There is no other problem except that there are too many people. There are also vending machines and ice cream in the lobby. If you are greedy and don’t want to go out, you can buy some snacks here.
Here I would like to especially thank the young man in the housekeeping department and the master in the engineering department on May 2. On that day, there was a problem with the password lock of my suitcase. I originally wanted the master in the engineering department to help me pry the lock open, and I could buy a new suitcase. The two of them helped me fix it after a long time. I am grateful.
