"The location was in a small village outside of Mianzhu or Deyang. It was a beautiful place surrounded by farmland to the front and bamboo-covered mountains to the back.
The staff were very helpful with our requests. We mainly communicated through translation app, as they did not speak English.
The hot springs were available to us every day. You could easily walk or also ask for a buggy ride up to it. Some of the large hot spring pools were closed, we believe due to it being winter time. But there were still more than 12 hot springs open.
If you are a westerner travelling here, don’t expect a cozy residents bar. There is a bar area but not that equipped.
We did not try the hotel restaurants. We walked 1km or 2km into the village and had many cheap restaurant options and the locals were very friendly and accommodating with our lack of Chinese. The room had a torch also available, which made it easy to walk along the road when it was dark."

"I was with a friend on a road trip to Western Sichuan, and we took the newly opened Damao Highway. On our way, we visited Jiannan Old Street in Mianzhu and decided to stay overnight. We chose Minshan Youzai Hotel, a place I've stayed at before, and it was as good as ever. The bed was really comfortable, and they even upgraded our room this time. It was very quiet at night. Highly recommended!"

Everything is voice activated with Xiaodu... my chinese is a little... non-existent, but translation apps made it easy. 👌🙌 Amazing. Fantastic location not far from the cbd, within walking distance. Surrounded by little shops and restaurants, everything you could need. English-speaking is a little sparse, but the generous and kind staff, always aim to help. 💥💖💯

Unfortunately, there was no rice noodles. I don't know if I didn't see it or didn't. But it is because the summer vacation is the peak season, people live, the lawn of the hotel and the lawn garden of the front and back yard of the room have not been taken care of for a long time. The price of more than 500 on weekends is actually a little worse than the hotel of 300 ～ 400 in the city. The yard has not been created with a special feature. There are more than 200 square meters in space. The front and back yards account for most of it, but there is no way to sit down. The room is no different from the picture. It is very spacious, but the facilities are a bit general. The lights are very dim. We have set this room type. The toilet does not even have a faucet.
