"This is probably one of the best hotels in the area, and it's very conveniently located. The facilities are excellent, and the breakfast offers a wide variety, including hot and cold beverages and coffee. There are plenty of staff, and the bespectacled gentleman at the front desk was particularly helpful. He told us about some great local restaurants, and on the day we checked in, it was very foggy and humid. He kindly advised us to wear masks when going out to avoid inhaling too much moisture, which was very thoughtful. My only minor suggestion for the hotel is regarding the gym equipment on the second floor near the entrance. It gets hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Perhaps it could be moved to a different spot, as it was quite chilly checking in with the main doors wide open on such a day."

"Overall, it was a very satisfying travel experience. For a small county town, it's a very nice hotel, full of local flavor. After dinner, there was a road near the hotel lined with jacaranda trees, a truly dreamy sight. The next morning, I had some hot rice noodles near the hotel, then went back to the hotel for a hot shower, a nap, and then checked out (check-out time is 2 PM). Everything was very relaxing and leisurely. It's a pity we didn't have enough time to stay longer; I definitely want to explore more next time. However, since the main purpose of visiting was to see the rapeseed flowers, I still really enjoyed it."

"My stay at Hanting was fantastic! I casually mentioned needing extra toiletries during check-in, and the front desk immediately provided them and even thoughtfully added tissues. They were all incredibly friendly and helpful throughout. At breakfast, the restaurant staff proactively recommended their signature hot porridge and dim sum, and even asked if I wanted more when their plates were empty. The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was incredibly soft and comfortable. Excellent value for money! I'll definitely choose Hanting again for my next trip! The front desk service was excellent, and check-in was quick."

The hotel is just at the foot of the hill where you can watch the sunrise. It takes about five minutes to walk to Mu Mu in the morning. On the plank road, after checking out, the staff will take us out of the scenic area without turning back. We can just see the entire Jinji Peak Cong scenic area in a circle. Every room can see the sea of flowers, and we are truly lying in the sea of flowers; 2️⃣ The staff at the hotel are very enthusiastic. Everyone is very nice and comfortable. Both the language and attitude are very good. The two beauties also made an appointment for us to take photos and helped us carry our bags. Anyway, the service is excellent; 3️⃣ It is especially recommended to dine at his home. The chef is top-notch and the food is picked from the fields by the staff on site. Kuailededashu2067I booked this room during the blooming season, just like many other travelers who came to see the canola fields. The owners were incredibly warm and attentive. The guesthouse itself is surrounded by beautiful scenery, and the room offered stunning views at an excellent value. The home-cooked meals served at the guesthouse were also delicious, hot, clean, and hygienic. The only minor downside was that the village was completely packed that night, with all rooms fully booked, which meant the hot water supply for showers was a bit slow.

The room size was just right, the shower water was acceptable, and there was an elevator. The main advantage was its proximity to Luoping Bus Station and Railway Station. For meals, you need to go to the area near the bus station. There are several bus lines from the bus station to the county town. To get to the Jiulong Waterfall Group, you can flag down bus number 8 at the bus stop in front of the bus station waiting hall.

I wanted to see the sea, but I ended up seeing a sea of flowers. I was lucky enough to add the owner on WeChat at the Kunming book market last year. Looking at his WeChat Moments, I felt this was a cool and unique hostel, and the books he selected were also very distinctive. I'd been wanting to visit for a while, and on a whim, I came without prior notice. The first floor is a bookstore, the second floor is guest rooms, and the back is the hostel. Because I was traveling with family, we booked two rooms. The double rooms were very spacious and great value; my family loved them. Meeting the owner in person, he was very easygoing and friendly. In this small county town, he regularly eats at one or two delicious little shops and buys the most unpretentious chicken cakes. Wandering, freedom, music, unrestrained laughter—he finds harmony with the world in his own way. He said he was born in 1897, and the name of the shop is a number he likes, without any special meaning; he hopes the bookstore will grow freely and exist until the end of the universe. Such freedom and open-mindedness are truly enviable. His ”goodnight” to the guests warmed my heart. It's been a long time since I've traveled or written a review, and this has inadvertently turned into a jumbled mess. This time, time was too short to fully experience the excitement of '97. I'll need to keep an eye on my boss's WeChat Moments more often, and hopefully I'll have the chance to attend a music festival organized by Boca Juniors sometime.

Our primary goal was to visit Luoping's Jinji Fengcong (Golden Rooster Hills) and its vast rapeseed fields, so we meticulously chose and booked the highly-rated Xinyuan Dream Guesthouse on Ctrip, conveniently located within the scenic area. It was spotlessly clean, tidy, and comfortable, and our spacious view room offered direct views of Jinji Fengcong. After staying here, we realized that staying within the scenic area is absolutely the best choice, saving both time, effort, and money.
The guesthouse is run by a young, university-educated couple. The proprietress is a sweet, friendly, and charming young lady; her radiant smile is as captivating as the blooming rapeseed flowers themselves. They offer freshly prepared dishes and rice for all three meals, which are excellent value for money and taste wonderfully fresh and light. The owner even personally drove us to the scenic area entrance in his electric cart, which was incredibly thoughtful.
Right outside the guesthouse, there's a field of rapeseed flowers (Pic 2) where every casual snap turns into a stunning photo. Public transport is also conveniently accessible right outside the entrance. I've already recommended it to all my friends on social media who are planning a trip here!

The room facilities are new, similar to the quality of a fast hotel. Clean and odorless. The air conditioning and heating are sufficient and quiet. The shower head in the bathroom has enough water. The rice noodles and porridge for breakfast taste good. The homestay is close to the rapeseed flower scenic area, and you can also see the flower fields on one side from the window. Before booking, I was a little hesitant because I saw some reviews (reviews in early 2023) pointing out that there were some flaws in the homestay. I specifically called the homestay to ask if those problems had been solved. The person in charge who answered the phone told me with certainty that those problems were no longer there and I could book with confidence, and explained in detail the causes of the problems and the measures to solve them. It is a reliable store!

This stay was a very pleasant experience. The service was attentive and thoughtful, the rooms were spacious and bright, the facilities were complete, and the price was very reasonable. There was a yard in the back where you could park, which could probably fit five or six cars. The service provided by the front desk girl is very good, considerate and attentive. The environment is worth it, especially the beautiful cherry blossom mountain road to the left when you go out the back door of the hotel. You can walk to the Stone Forest of Weigu Village and drive a short distance to the beautiful Xiaolongtan Village.
