"This hotel is in the same building as the Vienna Hotel, just on a different floor. I asked the front desk, and they said it's the same owner. The parking lot access, parking spaces, and management are all quite unsatisfactory. The room size is decent, but the layout and design are pretty average. While there's nothing explicitly wrong, the entrance just feels a bit off. The biggest letdown is that such a large hotel doesn't have a laundry room. For a family traveling during the holidays, not being able to wash and dry clothes is quite inconvenient. This seems like an easy fix that could be implemented. On the plus side, it's super close to the border crossing and the nearby old street, which is incredibly convenient. The hotel also helped us contact a travel agency to handle immigration procedures quickly – we paid 220 CNY per person on the 28th of the twelfth ***** month. Another major advantage is the hotel's 35th-floor rooftop observation deck, which offers absolutely stunning views and is the tallest hotel in the area."

"Dongxing Port is mainly for selling things, and the streets are full of Vietnamese snacks. According to the new policy, you must bring your passport to leave the country. If you want convenience in your diet, I recommend Sanjie Chicken Noodles, which include chicken noodles, spring rolls, Vietnamese bread, and flatbread. The chicken is chewy and sweet, the spring rolls are best eaten freshly fried, and the bread is just average (deep-fried, a little greasy). The main attractions are the boundary monument, war relics, and the ASEAN-style street. There is a Green Oriental Hotel next to the port, facing Vietnam, with a panoramic view."

"This is definitely my go-to hotel whenever I'm in Dongxing. The location is unbeatable, right next to the border gate – I could actually see it directly from my room, which was amazing! 😱 The underground parking was a huge plus. The front desk staff, especially one lovely lady, was incredibly kind. Since I was traveling with elderly relatives, she went out of her way to make sure our rooms were close together for convenience. We only had breakfast included for two rooms, but she arranged for everyone in our party to have breakfast, which was incredibly thoughtful and heartwarming. 🥰 I visited the observation deck both during the day and at night, and I definitely preferred the nighttime view. The Vietnamese side looked quite bustling and impressive as well. It was a really great experience. I regrettably forgot my passport this trip; for anyone going again, I highly recommend bringing it along so you can cross over to Mong Cai – I'm sure it offers a completely different vibe and experience."

"The room is at the elevator entrance, and the soundproofing is not very good. The children were woken up by the guests talking loudly at the door early in the morning. It is close to the port and convenient for taking buses and taxis. Next door is Huajie Chicken Noodles, which tastes very good! There is a Sino-Vietnamese Friendship Park nearby!"

The room was clean and odor-free, and the Wi-Fi was stable, perfect for getting work done. The mattress was super comfortable, definitely improved my quality of sleep. Check-in was quick and efficient at the front desk, and they provided a full set of toiletries. All this at a very reasonable price. "The hotel's location is excellent, and the service is perfect. However, the only charging pile, a slow charger, was consistently out of order. This meant I couldn't charge properly from 2 PM until the next day, having to repeatedly move my car to different spots. The main issue was that the first charging attempt always showed as 'in progress,' preventing any subsequent charging. I needed customer service to authorize the cancellation of this 'in progress' order. Ugh! 🤮"
