The chicken is chewy and sweet, the spring rolls are best eaten freshly fried, and the bread is just average (deep-fried, a little greasy). "This is definitely my go-to hotel whenever I'm in Dongxing. The location is unbeatable, right next to the border gate – I could actually see it directly from my room, which was amazing! 😱 The underground parking was a huge plus. The front desk staff, especially one lovely lady, was incredibly kind. Since I was traveling with elderly relatives, she went out of her way to make sure our rooms were close together for convenience. We only had breakfast included for two rooms, but she arranged for everyone in our party to have breakfast, which was incredibly thoughtful and heartwarming. 🥰
I visited the observation deck both during the day and at night, and I definitely preferred the nighttime view. The Vietnamese side looked quite bustling and impressive as well. It was a really great experience. I regrettably forgot my passport this trip; for anyone going again, I highly recommend bringing it along so you can cross over to Mong Cai – I'm sure it offers a completely different vibe and experience."

"Chain hotels are pretty good. I often travel around for business. It's hard to understand why some white-collar workers are so picky when they pay over 200 yuan. I forgot a bag of souvenirs when I checked in. I suddenly remembered that I was missing a bag of things after I entered the room for a long time. When I went down to the lobby, the PA lady said that she was afraid that we couldn't find it, so she didn't dare to take it away. She left it there for us to come back and get it. I give her a thumbs up!"

The surrounding area is incredibly convenient, with a wide array of amenities including restaurants, street food stalls, and wholesale markets. The rooftop terrace provides expansive views, where you can gaze across the Beilun River to Mong Cai, Vietnam. It offers excellent value for money, and the rooms are spotlessly clean. What truly sets this place apart is the owner's warm and genuine hospitality. He was incredibly helpful, proactively assisting with luggage and recommending delicious local food. the hotel has a beautiful view of the city at the rooftop restaurant. you can go up to admire the view day and night. the buffet breakfast is simple yet nutritious. the hotel staff is efficient and helpful. i asked for chili and it was promptly given to me. the room is very cozy and has a good street view too. the only setback is the hotel is located quite a distance from the border gate and ***** transport. it will not be a problem if you have your own transport.

The hotel should have been renovated in 2023. The furniture is new and the facilities are good. This is probably the best hotel you can find in Dongxing. There are about ten single-family villas in total, facing the mountains and streams. It is very comfortable to get up in the morning. The key is that the price is not expensive even on the National Day, which is rare. It's not far from Dongxing city, about twenty minutes' drive. Just look at the room map for photos, that's fine. The only small problem is that it comes with a gas tank for the kitchen stove, but not a pot haha.

Anonymous UserRoom: The room was more spacious than I expected, with modern and cozy decor, and it was very clean and tidy. The mattress and pillows were just the right firmness, ensuring a great night's sleep. The bathroom had a wet/dry separation, ample hot water, and good quality toiletries.
Facilities: I tried out the hotel's gym and pool (or breakfast, depending on what facilities you used), and they were all well-maintained. The Wi-Fi signal was strong, which was very convenient for work.
Summary: Whether for a business trip or a leisure vacation, this is an excellent choice. I will definitely stay here again next time I visit this city!

A young arrogant reception ( the one with glasses) refused to honour my booking, the advertised room with RIVERVIEW saying it was sold out and offering me a small room with no view. After calls to the owner she agreed to give me the room if I paid extra. After more discussion with her boss she relented after I threatened a poor review. This arguing took at least half an hour of stress and anxiety, the receptionist insisting my phone was the problem even though I showed her the screenshot of my booking confirmation. I went to reserve another night but had to agree to a higher price. I wanted to stay at least four nights but too stressful playing their game.

The price of the hotel is acceptable in terms of location. After all, the sea is right outside the door.
What is more difficult to accept is that there are many small bugs in the room, such as geckos, crickets, etc. Especially at night, crickets chirping in the room make it impossible to sleep. It is recommended that the store disinfect it regularly.
In addition, the processing restaurant next to the hotel is not very delicious, and there are not many dishes to order. It depends on personal taste!
Everything else is very good. It is very pleasant to enjoy the sea breeze in the small courtyard at night!

Anonymous UserLocation is 2 mins walk from Bus Terminal/ 950m from Dong Xing Port. Just a 600m walk to reach Town Central for Tourists must-see and Malls. Bus stop is just front of the hotel. Room is very spacious and clean comes with private bathroom, AC works well and TV is with signals for local channel. Wifi is of good speed and hot shower is always available. Staff at lobby is friendly and has a drinking water dispenser at lobby as well. Safe for solo female traveller.

The hotel is relatively old, and the hardware facilities are like those of a recruitment agency in the 1970s. The mattresses are relatively hard and there is no peculiar smell. It is convenient for travel and is close to the port, just a few minutes' walk away.
