"This hotel is in the same building as the Vienna Hotel, just on a different floor. I asked the front desk, and they said it's the same owner. The parking lot access, parking spaces, and management are all quite unsatisfactory. The room size is decent, but the layout and design are pretty average. While there's nothing explicitly wrong, the entrance just feels a bit off. The biggest letdown is that such a large hotel doesn't have a laundry room. For a family traveling during the holidays, not being able to wash and dry clothes is quite inconvenient. This seems like an easy fix that could be implemented. On the plus side, it's super close to the border crossing and the nearby old street, which is incredibly convenient. The hotel also helped us contact a travel agency to handle immigration procedures quickly – we paid 220 CNY per person on the 28th of the twelfth ***** month. Another major advantage is the hotel's 35th-floor rooftop observation deck, which offers absolutely stunning views and is the tallest hotel in the area."

The chicken is chewy and sweet, the spring rolls are best eaten freshly fried, and the bread is just average (deep-fried, a little greasy). "This is definitely my go-to hotel whenever I'm in Dongxing. The location is unbeatable, right next to the border gate – I could actually see it directly from my room, which was amazing! 😱 The underground parking was a huge plus. The front desk staff, especially one lovely lady, was incredibly kind. Since I was traveling with elderly relatives, she went out of her way to make sure our rooms were close together for convenience. We only had breakfast included for two rooms, but she arranged for everyone in our party to have breakfast, which was incredibly thoughtful and heartwarming. 🥰 I visited the observation deck both during the day and at night, and I definitely preferred the nighttime view. The Vietnamese side looked quite bustling and impressive as well. It was a really great experience. I regrettably forgot my passport this trip; for anyone going again, I highly recommend bringing it along so you can cross over to Mong Cai – I'm sure it offers a completely different vibe and experience."

"We brought our family to Dongxing for the holiday, and this hotel has a fantastic location! Parking is a huge problem in Dongxing during holidays, but this hotel made it easy to park and go to places like the National Gate and the pedestrian street. Xuezhen Bakery, Meng Huo Fried Chicken, and Zhongyuan Coffee are all just a few minutes' walk away! Although it's an economy chain, the rooms are quite large and have smart room control systems, especially the TV which can be directly projected onto your phone. I think unless you absolutely need a brand-name hotel like Ramada, this hotel is perfectly adequate. The hotel also has a laundry room with dryers, which is very important in a hot place like Dongxing for quickly washing and drying clothes. Furthermore, the street above Huxi River (where the Taosu brand is located) transforms into a night market at night, which is also a great place to stroll and eat!"

"The hotel's location is excellent, and the service is perfect. However, the only charging pile, a slow charger, was consistently out of order. This meant I couldn't charge properly from 2 PM until the next day, having to repeatedly move my car to different spots. The main issue was that the first charging attempt always showed as 'in progress,' preventing any subsequent charging. I needed customer service to authorize the cancellation of this 'in progress' order. Ugh! 🤮"

The guesthouse is perfectly situated in the heart of the old town, offering easy walking access to attractions like Dongxing Port, Fengqing Street, and the China-Vietnam Friendship Park. The surrounding area is incredibly convenient, with a wide array of amenities including restaurants, street food stalls, and wholesale markets. The rooftop terrace provides expansive views, where you can gaze across the Beilun River to Mong Cai, Vietnam. It offers excellent value for money, and the rooms are spotlessly clean. What truly sets this place apart is the owner's warm and genuine hospitality. He was incredibly helpful, proactively assisting with luggage and recommending delicious local food. His thoughtful and attentive service made us feel truly at home. A big thumbs up to him! 👍👍👍

A rare environment and pet-friendly RV camp, with 5 puppies and 2 kittens to experience the towing RV, the boss is very enthusiastic about receiving so many hairy children, the towing RV is very clean, the space is enough, the day to go to Vietnam, the hairy children are locked in the RV is safe, Everything was arranged smoothly, I sincerely praise this pet-friendly hotel, I will definitely go again.

the hotel has a beautiful view of the city at the rooftop restaurant. you can go up to admire the view day and night. the buffet breakfast is simple yet nutritious. the hotel staff is efficient and helpful. i asked for chili and it was promptly given to me. the room is very cozy and has a good street view too. the only setback is the hotel is located quite a distance from the border gate and ***** transport. it will not be a problem if you have your own transport.

Room: The room was more spacious than I expected, with modern and cozy decor, and it was very clean and tidy. The mattress and pillows were just the right firmness, ensuring a great night's sleep. The bathroom had a wet/dry separation, ample hot water, and good quality toiletries. Facilities: I tried out the hotel's gym and pool (or breakfast, depending on what facilities you used), and they were all well-maintained. The Wi-Fi signal was strong, which was very convenient for work. Summary: Whether for a business trip or a leisure vacation, this is an excellent choice. I will definitely stay here again next time I visit this city!

A young arrogant reception ( the one with glasses) refused to honour my booking, the advertised room with RIVERVIEW saying it was sold out and offering me a small room with no view. After calls to the owner she agreed to give me the room if I paid extra. After more discussion with her boss she relented after I threatened a poor review. This arguing took at least half an hour of stress and anxiety, the receptionist insisting my phone was the problem even though I showed her the screenshot of my booking confirmation. I went to reserve another night but had to agree to a higher price. I wanted to stay at least four nights but too stressful playing their game.

A beautiful apartment with a very large terrace. There were even two double beds and the apartment was definitely big enough for two or even four. Everything was very clean, and of course there were fresh towels and bed linen. The reception is in a shop on the ground floor. I was greeted very friendly and accompanied to my room. The whole process was very pleasant and I can recommend the apartment and the host.

I accidentally chose Haotai Hotel. The front desk received me very warmly. I entered the room. Mom, all of them are new. At first glance, this room is new. I am very satisfied and the price is good. The hotel is only a few minutes walk from the port. I recommend you to rest here. Shopping around is too convenient. Convenient transportation. From the hotel to the high-speed rail station is also close, take a taxi for 18 yuan. It is really recommended to Zhu Haotai. I do skin care shopping. ***************

The price of the hotel is acceptable in terms of location. After all, the sea is right outside the door. What is more difficult to accept is that there are many small bugs in the room, such as geckos, crickets, etc. Especially at night, crickets chirping in the room make it impossible to sleep. Location is 2 mins walk from Bus Terminal/ 950m from Dong Xing Port. Just a 600m walk to reach Town Central for Tourists must-see and Malls. Bus stop is just front of the hotel. Room is very spacious and clean comes with private bathroom, AC works well and TV is with signals for local channel. Wifi is of good speed and hot shower is always available. Staff at lobby is friendly and has a drinking water dispenser at lobby as well. Safe for solo female traveller.
