"We booked this hotel on Ctrip based on its high rating on our way to Zhagana. Since it rained when we arrived at Huahu Lake, we didn't visit it and arrived early. The hotel is newly built in ******* style, with complete facilities, a wide view, and a terrace with sunrise views. The view from your room door alone makes it highly recommended.
The only downside is the narrow road to the guesthouse (a common feature in many scenic areas), but for novice drivers, it's definitely a good training opportunity to improve driving skills. Also, the bathroom and shower room on the second floor have three staggered steps due to the terrain, resulting in slightly insufficient ceiling height. "The location is absolutely fantastic, offering panoramic views of Zhagana, with beautiful scenery right from the room. It's very close to the entrance of Runwu Valley, about a 10-minute walk. There are also many restaurants and supermarkets on the slope, and the owner even provides freshly ground coffee—the service is impeccable. The room is spacious and fully equipped. However, the kettle in the room was burnt, so please check the equipment carefully. My only suggestion is to add a bathroom rug, as the tiled floor is a bit slippery after showering."

"This is the most surprising B&B in my trip to Gannan so far. I thought that the environment of a B&B at this price would not be very good. But when I arrived at the B&B, I found that it was so beautiful. It has a big yard. You can watch the stars at night and the Zhagana scenic area during the day. It is so beautiful! The room facilities are of good standard and sanitary conditions, and the simple and quiet decoration and clean environment complement the beautiful scenery outside the window. Both bosses are very good and enthusiastic. Due to some conditions in our car, the boss helped us drive the car up, and there were six or seven people who had never met before, helping us to push the cart behind. After the car climbed smoothly, we had not had time to thank you, and everyone left. That scene is still moving now. After visiting Fairy Beach the next day, the boss was worried that the elderly and children were not physically able. He specially drove his own car to pick us up below the slope. The child’s coconut milk was accidentally spilled on the back seat of the boss’s car. We were very embarrassed, but the boss did not complain at all. I also told us repeatedly that it was okay, it was okay. Zhaga is worth coming again, and I will definitely choose Songjian Muyun again. What I harvest here is not only the beautiful scenery, but also the full of kindness.

MManmanlaibuhouhuiA bit pricey?! Is it expensive? Are there any cheaper options within the Zhagana scenic area? Prices vary depending on the market. Considering the environment, facilities, food, and service, it's quite reasonable.
Let's start with the environment, which is its biggest advantage. Located next to Fairy Beach, halfway up the mountain, it's quiet without the crowds of guesthouses. Parking is available right outside the gate; the parking lot is huge. Fairy Beach, a must-see in Zhagana, is a ten-minute walk along the boardwalk, saving you the hassle of climbing a long path and the cost of the sightseeing bus.
Opening the curtains reveals a panoramic view of Zhagana, comparable to the Dari viewing platform. Compared to the crowded guesthouses with their endless rooftops, this is much better.
The rooms aren't large but are adequate, and the facilities are new. The building and room design are quite innovative; perhaps due to the environment, the exterior design of the building isn't as sophisticated as the interior.
The service also deserves praise—warm, attentive, and providing a complete Zhagana travel guide. To avoid traffic jams on the Jiangdie Highway, we set off at 6 AM, and the owner even offered to drive us, which was very touching.
The owner's cooking was quite good; we ordered boiled yak meat, which wasn't overly seasoned like some other restaurants, and it was spicy and flavorful.
Finally, one thing to note: the bathroom drain in my room had a problem; it was leaking slowly and needs to be checked.

The guesthouse has Tibetan-style decor, new facilities, and a practical three-part bathroom with partitions. The huge floor-to-ceiling windows made it a very pleasant place to sit and enjoy tea while admiring the view. The owners, a husband and wife, were very welcoming and helpful, even washing our car for us – so thoughtful! In short, this is a guesthouse with excellent value for money.

The bedding was so soft and comfortable, guaranteeing a great night's sleep, and everything was spotlessly clean, truly meeting star-hotel standards. What really touched me was the host's warmth and hospitality. They not only sent detailed check-in instructions beforehand but also thoughtfully recommended some excellent local eateries that didn't disappoint. It felt just like being at home. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in the area!

The view from the rooms is fantastic, and it's very convenient for visiting all the attractions in Zhagana. The two handsome young men at the guesthouse were incredibly welcoming. Because the village roads are quite narrow, one of them even came down to pick us up and drive us to the guesthouse. He even drove us out of the house, making our driving very safe. Behind the guesthouse is the famous Lasang Monastery in Zhagana. The guesthouse's facilities, cleanliness, environment, and service were all excellent, making for a very comfortable stay. Since we were tired from sightseeing the next day and didn't want to go out for food, the young men braved the rain to get us takeout and deliver it to our room – we were very touched. After we checked out, they even washed my car and drove us out of the village again. Five stars!

Service: The owner was very attentive, proactively helping with luggage and recommending tours around Zhagana. He quickly addressed any issues I had, though there weren't many to ask for. Parking is available right outside, and it's right on the national highway, which is truly rare.
Environment: Located right on the highway, it's very convenient for getting around. I stayed in a room with a view (see the pictures for details). I could enjoy the view directly from the room or from the third-floor terrace. It rained the night before, so the next morning, opening the curtains, I felt like I was in a fairyland. But the disadvantage is that the boss has opened a hot pot restaurant on the second floor. It is good to eat and enjoy the view, but we who live below are annoyed. , because the sound insulation on the floor is not good, there are still sounds upstairs at 1 o'clock in the evening, and the room smells bad, which is very uncomfortable!
Also, there are no clothes hangers in the room!

TTobiasWe were really lucky to book this hotel as foreign travellers. They had a lady on hand who could speak both German and English and with her, we were able to get transport to Gamu (?) Lake, after the taxi driver she arranged for earler suddenly decided he wanted more money, as we were on our way there. They had lunch with my Wife and I and shared delicious Yak meat with us, before sending us to the lake.
10/10 experience.
