The moment you arrive at the hotel, you feel right at home. It's a small boutique hotel with a European flair. Imagine staying at grandma's house, where everything is taken care of and all you have to do is sit back, relax, and soak up the cozy atmosphere. We stayed on the second floor, and I'd like to point out that this hotel does not have an elevator. This hotel has a recreation room, a small restaurant attached to the main house, an outdoor seating area for breakfast, a small bar, and a gift shop. The staff are very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. We had an excellent stay. The location of the hotel is also important to consider. It is a short walk from downtown Victoria, where the main shopping street is located.

The location is slightly off downtown; if you have a car, it's not a problem. Street parking is fine; you can pay $19 for a night. The flat is huge for two people. The facilities are in good condition. There are two Dyson fans, one in the living room and another in the bedroom. We were here in the summer, but the temperature at night was around 12-14. It's good not to have AC in the room, and the room still feels cool enough with the balcony door and the bottom windows opened in the bedroom and the living room, even without turning on the fans. There are washing machines with a drying function in the room, which are free to use, but you must bring your detergents or buy them at the front desk. I liked the living environment and the fresh air here. As it's off the main road, I enjoyed the silent evening without traffic noise.

Pros: 1. The hotel's location right by the Inner Harbour is convenient for visiting several nearby attractions. 2. The front desk staff were very enthusiastic and gave us detailed information about the hotel's entertainment and dining facilities, as well as local sights. Knowing we were driving, they also informed us about parking (even though there's a charge). 3. The beds were comfortable. Cons: 1. Due to the hotel's age, the bathroom only has a bathtub, no separate shower. They've installed two glass panels to act as a splash guard, but there's a large gap between them, which means shower water still wets the entire bathroom floor. 2. The windows in the rooms facing the street aren't double-glazed, so the noise from passing vehicles at night is very loud. At over 4000 a night, the value for money is extremely low.

I would like to share my experience at this hotel are clean, we manged to get free upgrade to suite. The location is very convenient for accessing various tourist attractions. Directly across the street, you'll find ramen, Subway, Burger King, and several other dining options. It's just a 5-minute walk to Government Street and a shopping mall. The hotel offers a complimentary premium coffee and hot chocolate maker for guests. Although breakfast is not included, you can enjoy delicious meals at The Ruby, a well-rated restaurant conveniently situated next to the lobby. If you plan to cook, the nearest grocery Supermart, located 1.2 km away. The Prime of Whale booking site is just a 10-minute walk from the hotel. From Hotel to Swartz bay ferries terminal bus ride is 1hr, avoid 430pm to 6pm may takes up to 90mins to reach. The butchart garden is about 45mins bus ride from our hotel bus stop 180m away from our hotel. The Fisherman’s Wharf Marina is approximately a 20-minute walk away, allowing you to take plenty of photos along the way.

The only duckie hotel in Canada it is! We love the big duck in the roundabout. Had a smooth and quick check-in. We were gifted two extra duckies besides of the one in our bathroom! Free coffee & tea at the lobby. This hotel is a renovated motel. We can park very closed to our room, where it’s only a stair away. A restaurant right next to the lobby. There are so many restaurants and shops opposite the hotel. The location was superb!

The room was very clean besides of the soap bar near the bath tub. It was still dim after all lights were on, especially the area of full size mirror. No amenities in this building, but laundry is cheap $2 each only

The room was very clean. The noise from the bar on the first floor was a little noticeable, but it didn't bother me too much. The location is also great, highly recommended.

The Oswego Hotel is located in downtown Victoria just behind the beautiful Parliament building and the inner harbour. The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly and welcoming. We also had dinner and breakfast in the hotel restaurant which was convenient and tasty.

This is a good hotel . There was a little difficulty during our stay that was not hotels fault. The management professionally dealt with it. We were last minute guests for the staff?, after leaving a very ‘’poor’’ hotel very quickly. Friendly, atmosphere, if I am next in Victoria ?, the VIC will be where we will stay, , easy 5 minute drive. 1mile from downtown.

Good location, just 8 minutes drive to downtown. But the room is not cleaned even you put a sign for cleaning (just change towels). Reasonable price.

Great hotel great location ,stopped here many times ,parking is now better but still costs you $20 day but it is downtown ,heating in room very poor ,had to ask for additional heater .this room also had large windows with a view to the ocean which was great ,but heat loss from windows with a small portable radiator was not sufficient ,but luckily this room had an open fireplace ,so I sublimated the heat by making a nice fire ,may be a good idea for the hotel to offer to sell the logs rather than me going out to a hardware store to buy them
