We had a wonderful stay at the Treasure Cove Prestige. Our room had a lovely little mudroom area that was perfect for storing our muddy gear without worrying about messing up the carpets, and there was loads of storage for all our things! The shower was big and had good water pressure and our bed was clean, perfectly firm and had lots of plugs available around it. There were also so many pillows it was perfect. We had the newly offered continental breakfast which was a perfect way to start the day, and we had drinks at the Grand Trunk bar in the evening which were ridiculously good and cheap at happy hour.

I'm staying at Sandman in PG. I am always treated as a number one throughout the many years. My attitude is always get a Sandman. My father is one of the best friend Philip who was the owner of Sandman. But in reality you cannot find the hotel like Sandman. I ALWAYS TREATED AS A GOLD. THAT'S WHY I ALWAYS STAYED HERE. SIMRAN goes out of the way to get me the room. She made my day. Way better than anything.

The hotel is very clean and the facilities are good. The window overlooks the mountains, the mountains, the morning and evening, there are pleasing scenery. The coffee and light meals in the lobby downstairs, especially the fresh French fries, seasoned with beer, very crisp and delicious, ordered several times in a row, and finally the store brother sent a large plate, saying that he could not finish eating and could take it back to the room to eat slowly. Unforgettable northern town.

We enjoyed our stay here. The plants inside are so calming. We did get a room without aircon, which was quite warm. Thankfully we were upgraded to an aircon room when asked.
The Indian restaurant attached to the hotel was delicious also!

This was an overnight stay as I took the Jasper to Prince Rupert train which lays over in Prince George. Google street viewing the area around this and all other hotels in the town centre doesn't paint a good picture. However there was absolutely nothing wrong with the hotel. Check in was carried out efficiently and no problem with the room. Comfortable bed, bathroom in good condition and nice to see dispensers for shampoo, body wash etc rather than small wasteful bottles. Other facilities (not all used) like a coffee machine and WiFi worked fine. Breakfast was a self service and reasonable selection of foods. Some use of disposable plates and cups rather than crockery.

Oh My God. Do your diligence and Please Please check your reviews on this place. My bed had literal urine on it. Hairs on pillowcases. Floors and bathroom disgusting. No TV service. Host was nice enough but the transients checking out my car within 15 minutes was unnerving. I recommend staying away from this establishment

Nice stay, standard Sandman offerings. Pool and Hot Tub are also good. Very warm and comfortable lobby with work areas and a lounge too. Highlight was the food? This is Northern BC and a hotel restaurant what can one expect? Three wins: 1) Asian and global touches made the food really delicious and interesting ( flavoured spice on snow peas along with Calamari). I had a pretty impressive bowl of Japanese Ramen (see pic). 2) Breakfast Yogurt with raspberry compote, honey, dulce de leche and granola was so delicious for a healthy option. I ate it daily and as my business was lecturing on my feed for 8 hours and UNBC - it was quality food fuel. 3) Frequent or busy travellers, don’t miss their multiple options for “breakfast on the go” at the front desk. Have to order the night before but serious health/Protein option at a very fair price.

This is a nice quiet location, abit hard to access from the hwy though. First thing I noticed when we got the room was that the water bottles were not new but had been opened and partially used. There is no microwave so making tea or anything was not easy, just a single serve Keurig. The restaurant was not very good and I would definitely not waste my money on there food again but it was convenient for this trip since hubby was having surgery.

WwanderBhynPrince George offers a lot of accommodations - but we went with this motel as it is centrally located and near the highway for our road trip. The exterior of the hotel is clean and simple - nothing much changed. However, the interior rooms have been renovated much to our delight. The decors and the washrooms have been upgraded. The furnishings are also generous - a sink, microwave, small fridge, coffee maker, small dining table, extra chair, office desk, and chair and even a little table- besides the bed and the night tables. The wifi and cable services were pretty reliable and helped us pass the time away easily. The bathroom is decent, and I should say the shower is quite relaxing with the proper shower head setting. I took two showers in this room, as it was really relaxing - the misty pressure of the water is good for those sore backs and shoulders. The beds were comfortable along with the pillows. We had a good night's sleep and awoke refreshed and ready to complete the rest of our road trip to Vancouver. The only thing is the parking on this location - it can be packed and it becomes a challenge to find a spot when all the spots are already taken. When we came back from dinner - we were lucky to find a parking spot amidst the taken ones. If the motel is full, you can expect to park out on the street, which might not be the most convenient of options. Overall, we would stay here again because it was cozy and the price was right, but we will always be wary about the parking space.

Amazing stay at the Carmel. Super clean, renovate, friendly staff, 24 hr front staff so very safe. I travelled with my dog and easy access room was a bonus. Definitely would stay here again. Reasonable price as well. Close to great restaurants. Would have been nice to have a take out menu for the onsite restaurant in the room as it’s not online. Also back parking area could use a garbage pick up.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS ECONO LODGE! Horrible customer service, unsafe location, unsanitary room conditions, waiting on refund after not even staying. After travelling 6 hrs, we had to stay in Prince George for a night and figured this was an easy and affordable option. We booked the reservation over the phone. (Econolodge never sent a confirmation booking email) - There was a line-up of other patrons at the desk waiting to be helped but no one was there as the desk clerk was outside too busy having a smoke. - When we we’re finally helped, we were instructed to park in a back alley where there were multiple homeless people attempted to enter the lodge and using ***** blocking the back entrances. - Once we found and inspected the room, we found STAINS ON BEDDING (Coloured stains on bedsheets and blankets) - We did not even unpack our belongings and notified the desk clerk we will not be staying due to not feeling safe and the UNSANITARY conditions. - We were refused a refund for UNKNOWN REASONS, and was instructed to call back to speak to the manager. - It has been a week now and after calling the lodge almost everyday for an update and speaking with the Econolodge customer support line to get a refund we have still been unable to connect with the manager TJ as he refuses to help. -The lodge is claiming they are now unable to find any history of our reservation despite us having proof of payments and receipts. Save yourself the headache and don’t stay at Econolodge Prince George.
