"Their services is excellent, location is great. I have to mention that the room is small hence there’s no space for luggage. The toilet stinks so badly that the smells went all over the room. Might be the piping as it smells like the drain. When I was there it’s was winter hence aircon is off (only heater) hence they slightly open the window. But opening the window comes with noise (cars, dogs barking early morning, nonstop ambulance) and it’s in the city hence it’s quite noisy until mid night. Lastly, there’s quite a lot of left over hair on my bed from previous customer - I wonder did they change the bedsheet.. I’m quite disturbed by it."

"The rooms in the new building are incredibly well-designed, featuring double-layered electric curtains and large floor-to-ceiling windows. In the morning, when the curtains open, the sunlight completely fills the bed. I rarely book a room that gets such fantastic sunlight. The room rate includes breakfast, which is relatively simple, offering items like bread, fruit, and milk. I personally think that's perfectly sufficient nutritionally. You can also order à la carte for breakfast, which offers options similar to what you'd find at a Western-style breakfast place outside. Regarding parking, as there are limited on-site parking spots, I parked at the FOMO car park outside the hotel this time, which was a bit inconvenient. If you need on-site parking, make sure to book in advance. The hotel's ground floor restaurant serves breakfast in the morning and Japanese cuisine in the evening. There's also a Chinese restaurant and other Asian dining options at FOMO, which is not far from the hotel. This place is located right in the heart of Fremantle, so all the attractions are just a short walk away."

"It's a small room, and there's no air conditioning, but luckily it wasn't hot at night. The shared bathroom was convenient enough. The location is excellent, right by the markets, and only a 10-minute walk to the ferry terminal."

"I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The environment was peaceful and welcoming, making it a great place to relax. The location is excellent—everything I needed was conveniently nearby, making it easy to explore the area. The room and facilities were also very clean and well maintained, which made the stay even more comfortable. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!"

"The room looked clean and was comfortable, but don’t be fooled—I spotted a few cockroaches in the room and at the rooftop hangout area. The lift was not working throughout my stay, so I had to carry my luggage up and down the stairs without any assistance. A male staff member even walked past me during checkout without offering help—I had to ask, and he still delayed helping until I was almost at the bottom. Housekeeping was also inconsistent, and I had to remind reception to get the room cleaned on some days."

"Hi , YHA Fremantle Prison, Wow! What an amazing experience and im so glad i stayed here, and thankyou so much for being so accommadting and understanding , and well for letting me book with late notice and guided me to after hours checkin, and well the guy who was working after hours on the 31st May Sunday night,...... 💯👌🙏❤️ so welcoming and was down to earth, and made me feel good about the whole.stay and just a very calming presence and over the phone also , very understanding and reassured me to not stress and be safe and to get here when i get here. He was thankful i got there at reasonable hour, cosidering it was after 9pm , was travelling from the city and through the storm so it was 10.30pm maybe a little after 10.45pm,...... and so he was very grateful but very good about me being a late check in , as i rang to make sure i was able to stay without a passport. I.was very happy to find that i could book without passport 🙏🥹💯❤️👌 I had the best night sleep, the best shower before bed, the facilities were amazing and the whole experience was beyond my expectations and exceeded all my thoughts of what was to be. I cant thank you guys enough! I will be back! Im staying longer next time so i can explore the Fremantle Prison as i have wanted to now for many.of years and the canal tour also ive wanted.to always do. The grounds, the care , the information on history , on every wall, evey building, everything was to standard and presentation that was 11/10 👌💯 brillant! I am and was well impressed! And cant wait to stay again and with a little more pre planning and booking earlier on and having a bit more a plan next trip. As my stay at YHA was very last minute , and because i missed my TransWA bus back to Kojonup.....😏 And well my decision to go up to Perth was very last minute and decision made only 2 days prior to going , and so as it was last minute decision and well i had an idea of a plan of where and who to see while up there, as being last minute things always dont go to plan and so when those moments happened i just rolled with the punches and went with the flow of things, and trusted my gut instinct and trusted my journey and the journey in life i am and well was on while in Perth and so all roads had led me to where i was meant to be , and well all fell into plaxe and worked out in the end and so im grateful beyond words! Truely and honestly 🥹🙏❤️💯😊 Thanks again , and wow amazing stay! And highly recommend! Thankyou so much for the feeling of saftey also being a single female traveller on her own. That also km very appreciative of and grateful beyonds words, so thankyou ❤️🥹 Thanks again Kind regards Tahnee Rai McGlew"

"An old hotel worth experiencing. There are many foods around. Italian street, very close to the port, the coast is beautiful. The historical precipitation of the room beauty + delicious tea bag coffee. On the top floor there is an open-air local favorite restaurant + bar that can see all sides of the city from a distance. Beautiful. There are also shopping facilities nearby. Recommended stay"

"Great place to stay in Fremantle - you can't get any more central than this place! Rooms were immaculate, staff very friendly, prices were relatively high but apparently normal for the Perth region. Breakfast was included but not very generous. As it is right in the centre of Fremantle - there are quite a few better breakfasts around only metres away, but obviously at additional cost. Would rate this five out if five if they made a bit more effort with the breakfasts!"

"The hotel is in a good location, surrounding attractions, convenient commercial shopping, free parking, small room is enough, there is no air conditioning in the room, the room has a small window: open to absorb fresh air is very good, the public toilet and shower room are very convenient, the front desk is on the first floor bar, You can also By the way, drink 🍻 or drink coffee ☕️ Sleep at night ＂ Remember to lock the door! I was knocked on the door that night by the guest in the opposite room who was drunk, and pulled the door handle, scaring the baby !"

"The stay was unexpectedly satisfactory, the room was large and comfortable, the environment was clean, the app provided a password to stay very efficient, and the outdoor flowers were beautiful. Stayed for two days, the overall is very satisfied, very close to the speedboat ferry terminal to Rottnest Island, and it takes about ten minutes to walk to the train station in the city, not far away, the location is excellent"
