Hotels with WiFi in Braddon

"I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help with any questions or requests. The room was clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with a comfortable bed that made for a great night's sleep. The hotel's location was excellent, with easy access to nearby attractions, restaurants, and public transportation."

"This hotel used to be a dormitory for Australian National University, so the upside is it's cheap. The downsides are small rooms without private bathrooms, though each room does have its own sink. There's no air conditioning, only a fan, but they do have heating in winter. Also, the soundproofing is pretty bad. After booking, they kept sending frequent emails and texts for online check-in, which honestly wasn't necessary at all. Check-in was super quick in person, and they didn't even ask for a bank card or deposit. However, the online check-in requires you to enter bank card information. To avoid phishing risks, I generally don't input my card details on untrustworthy websites, but if you don't complete the online process, they'll keep sending you messages, which is quite annoying. Also, the front desk has short operating hours, closing at 7:30 PM on weekdays and apparently at 3 PM on weekends. I arrived a bit late, and the door was locked, so I had to call the front desk to open it. Then, in the middle of the night, their system sent out messages about online check-out. I thought returning the key was all there was to it? More messages, this system is truly irritating. The fact is, the front desk isn't even open before 7 or 8 AM, so you just drop your key card in a box for check-out – it's that simple. However, I think it's quite good for a temporary stay of a few nights, but I only recommend it if you're okay with not having a private bathroom. If you need a room with a bathroom, the value for money isn't as good as other hotels. As for location, it's pretty much in the city center, about a 10-minute walk to the main downtown area, and there's a light rail station right downstairs. So, overall, I'd still give it a good review. On a side note, the front desk staff was quite friendly when I was there, even though it took a little while for them to come and open the door after I called (mainly because I really didn't expect the front desk to close at 7:30 PM)."

"Fast becoming a a an outdated hotel. Superior king rooms are small. Do yourself a favpur and Book the 1bd apartment as it has more space.  Location is pretty good. A short walk to the centre and shops.  Reception staff nice enough. Very robotic. Unfortunately we had a few problems when we checked in that eventually got resolved but only because we kept on reminding staff to do something about it. This left us with a negative impression overall.  We won’t stay here again. There’s better hotels around"

"Very clean, chic hotel with a popular restaurant and bar. It is conveniently located on Northbourne Avenue , Elouera St and Mort Street which is directly the line of Canberra's night clubs if you are coming on a weekend. There's only two sets of lifts for Hotel Clients which isn't a problem for an Asian ( moi) who is used to very crowded areas. But this can be a bit inconvenient for locals who are used to express service. Pool, gym, sauna. Major plus points. And the best part of all is the free bar fridge in the room. (Not sure if it was a promotion but my friend and I could drink all of what was offered for free!) We didnt because we are massive alcohol fans. The only major downside is the 25 dollar parking fee. No, no no. You can raise the price a bit higher for the quality of rooms but it's a bit offputting to have that as an additional fee. Overall, a pretty great experience from service to aminities."

"Good location: 2 tram stops from the city centre, walking distance to restaurants Room size and cleanliness quite good Laundry facility is super (wash machine and dryer free, only have to buy washing powder) Breakfast not worth it - no cheese, no hot chocolate/cocao for kids, no freshly brewed coffee (costs extra)"

"I traveled with friends and chose this hotel. The overall experience was very good! The room facilities are very complete, the environment is also very good, it is clean and hygienic, and the comfort is full."

"It was a great experience! It felt like home with all the amenities including fully stocked kitchen, washing and drying! The chromecast in both TVs was amazing! We will be back Deco!"

"Haha, this hotel definitely requires a bit of an adventurous spirit to stay at! It was built in 1926, so it's celebrating its 100th anniversary this year. In the lobby restaurant, there's a very old manual plug-in switchboard. The hotel's past life probably wasn't as a hotel; it gives off more of a government archives vibe 😂. The room facilities are a bit dated, especially the carpet, but there's a certain echo of the 1950s. The bathroom is quite small, and the shower area, in particular, seems like it would be a squeeze for anyone a bit larger. Canberra gets really cold, so it was a thoughtful touch that the hotel provided extra blankets. Overall, I think you need to have a bit of a nostalgic appreciation to truly enjoy this kind of hotel. The service, however, was quite good."
