It's in a beautiful old building, very well preserved and refurbished, and in a great location: in the Xidi old town, but a little bit more isolated, in the more quiet and less touristy area. Our room was spacious, comfortable and very stylish, it even had a tiny annexed studio room with desk and interesting books with a good kettle and tea set available. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom had a very nice bathtub and heated toilet. Our host was super nice and helpful, he came to pick us up and dropped us at the bus station at the end of our stay. He's really friendly and gave us some nice tips on visiting the surrounding villages. He has a very cute dog and a cuddly cat :)
Only negative comment: the room's window is on the side of the main road, so you can hear all the cars passing by. But even then, a great stay!

GGuest UserThe lady boss and the boss were very nice. They told me when we would arrive and waited for me. They took my luggage to the scenic area with a small electric car. The boss also took me to see the busy streets and introduced the route. It was very late and the boss helped me to contact a carpool to Huangshan Scenic Area. They were very enthusiastic. The hotel facilities were the same as those of chain hotels. It was also very quiet to sleep in the scenic area at night. There were no cars coming and going, only the chirping of insects and birds. The sound insulation of the houses in the scenic area was not very good.

GGuest User一大家子國慶自駕出門旅行，最難訂的就是住宿了，機緣巧合碰到這家民宿恰巧有幾間空房，民宿在景區外，但是地理位置非常好，離宏村入口非常近，步行幾百米過個小橋就能到，之前問了別家沒辦法解決停車的問題，我們三輛車的停車問題老闆都給解決了。民宿房間的床非常大，標間都是1.5米的大床，住四個人都沒問題，我們一大家子5間房，老闆全部安排在了一層樓，大家串門很方便，家人都很滿意。民宿的裝修比較簡單，不算很有特色，但是房間乾淨，該有的都有，紙巾水也都是品牌的，可以説老闆很用心了。

GGippiThe property is located in the heart of Hongcun, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the historic village on foot. As guests, you’re also entitled to discounted entrance tickets: just let the ticket office know you're staying here and they'll give you 50% off tickets. Room was exactly as in the photos, spacious, perfectly clean and featured a very comfortable bed and many accessories (bottled water, tv, haircomb, hairdrier, etc). The building’s traditional Chinese architecture was absolutely beautiful and on a rainy day, it created a wonderfully romantic atmosphere we will treasure forever in our memories. The staff were exceptionally helpful. They kindly met us to guide us to the hotel (since Apple Maps and AMaps can be a bit confusing in the area), provided umbrellas free of charge and even bring us back to the parking lot when we left. We had an excellent stay and highly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Hongcun!

BBaiwenburuyijianyaThis was my second stay. Hongcun is a great place to relax on weekends, and Zhang's Mansion is as cozy as ever. I told the manager in advance what I wanted to eat, and we ate right away. The food was all bought by the aunties at the manor that morning—fresh and delicious. The rooms are still in the same style, with a classic, antique charm. During the day, I strolled around the village, and in the evening, I went back to the manor to eat, drink, and sleep, relieving the fatigue of work.

GGuest UserThe most beautiful proprietress in Hongcun is not only beautiful, she also drives to and from the hotel herself. The service is meticulous and the accommodation environment is good. Although the soundproofing of the century-old wooden house is not good, everyone consciously goes to bed before ten o'clock. The village is very quiet. It was a two-day rest after coming down from Huangshan Mountain. It's great! Super five-star praise!

I was also very satisfied with the host's service; they were welcoming but not overly intrusive, and their recommendations for nearby restaurants were excellent. I'll definitely stay here again! A definite five-star review! The guesthouse's location is excellent, making it convenient for getting around. The room is beautifully decorated, full of artistic flair. The host was incredibly welcoming, making our trip even more enjoyable. I'll bring my friends next time!

On the way to get up early to see the scenery, I accidentally photographed the village under the sunrise. It was covered in the morning mist. It was beautiful! The boss sister is very nice and enthusiastic. If you have any questions, you will answer them one by one. The recommended restaurant is delicious and does not step on thunder. Very suitable for people who want to relax and not like to live for a few days. It is not far from the Hongcun scenic spot. It is suitable for car travel.

GGuest UserFull five-star highly recommended! The location of the hotel is super convenient and it is very close to shopping. The front desk staff was warm and thoughtful, the check-in and check-out speed was very fast, and the attitude was particularly gentle. The room was clean and odorless, the bedding was soft and comfortable, the sound insulation effect was good, and the sleep was particularly stable. The quality of toiletries is online, the hot water supply is sufficient, and the sanitary corners are cleaned in place. The overall experience is full, the price is super high, and I will choose this one next time!
