I love spontaneous trips, and I never planned my trips beforehand! I just randomly booked this guesthouse, and I was really looking forward to seeing what it would be like. Later, the owner contacted me and sent me travel tips and a map showing how to take the minibus to the Dong village. They even offered free pick-up and drop-off service – so great! 👍 The service was fantastic. All the toiletries were disposable, and the place was spotless. The Dong village was beautiful, rustic, and natural; you could eat your way from one end of the street to the other.

The location of this hotel was excellent with a truly wonderful view of a drum tower, covered bridge, bright green fields and the mountains beyond; at night all the ancient buildings were lit up and glowed gold. The owners were extremely helpful with all my travel arrangements and kept in contact, answering my questions I had and ensuring I travelled to the hotel from the train station without any problems

It was already late when we arrived at the Dong Village. A friend recommended this B&B to me. She said the owner was very nice. The B&B was inside the village and the environment was very nice and clean. When you book a room, they also give you clothes for taking photos and handmade cards. Unfortunately, we were in a hurry to go home and didn't have time to do any handicrafts.

Furthermore, staff are really kind and available: they also helped us finding a driver to take us around several Miao/Dong villages in the area. Hotel is also really nice: the common area is perfect to relax and spend some time, and also the room is comfortable and fully equipped.
