"I had the great pleasure of staying at the Sunset Hill Boutique Resort from March 19th to March 23rd, 2026 – and all I can say is: it was simply perfect! From the very first moment, I felt incredibly welcome. The entire team was exceptionally friendly, attentive, and always eager to fulfill every wish. You can immediately tell that they work with passion here. I was particularly impressed by how lovingly and professionally the staff took care of us – truly first-class service! The atmosphere at the resort is fantastic, quiet, and relaxing – exactly the right place to unwind and enjoy your time. Everything was very clean, well-maintained, and simply made you feel good. I was completely happy and satisfied with my stay and can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. Many thanks to the entire team for this wonderful time – I would love to come back again!"

"We've been there 5 years ago, in 2019. And now, after 5 years came back to thailand and chose this hotel again and were not disappointed in our choice. Clean rooms with interesting design. The hotel is located on the mountain in the jungle with really awesome sunset view. Just ten minutes to go to the haad rin beach which is famous for it's white sand and fullmoon parties. Best hotel on Ko Phangan for money!"

"We had a pleasant stay at Beach Club by Haadtien, but with mixed feelings. The location is beautiful: a lovely bay in a peaceful setting. The room itself was fine and we appreciated the daily fresh towels (both for the bathroom and the beach/pool) as well as the complimentary bottled water. The food in the restaurant is also good, although we found it relatively expensive by Thai standards. At the same time there are several aspects that, especially given the price of the hotel, should be better. The sound insulation is very poor: you can literally understand what your neighbours are saying, and music as well as footsteps from the rooms above or adjacent are clearly audible. This makes getting a good night’s sleep more a matter of luck than comfort. In addition, the sliding door to the balcony did not close properly, which affects both comfort and the efficiency of the air conditioning which I thought was a pity, especially on an island where energy use should be taken seriously. Housekeeping and general maintenance could also be improved. In this price range, you would not expect to find squashed mosquitoes on the walls. The property and the room show signs of wear and tear in several places, such as broken tiles and damage to the floor. There was also quite a bit of plastic on the beach, although we realise this may not be entirely within the hotel’s control. The shuttle service to the village is a nice addition, but having to reserve it a day in advance makes it less flexible than you would hope. Overall conclusion: A beautifully located hotel with a good foundation, but it falls short in several important areas given the price. For us, this would be a reason to consider other options next time. Overall, we did not feel it was worth the money."

"At first, after seeing the reviews, I wondered if it was worth staying here. I tried it and it wasn't bad at all for the price. I think it's great, even good for me. If you want the comfort and luxury of a 4 or 5-star hotel, I recommend going for 15,000-30,000 baht per night. Personally, I've stayed at many hotels of various prices on Koh Phangan, and this is another place I will definitely revisit. It's quiet and the water is clean. It's a shame I woke up late and missed the sunrise. (The owner is lovely, and all the staff are very helpful. I think if you want someone to be nice to you, you have to be nice to them first.)"

"The location was beautiful, and there was a market nearby. It takes a bit of walking to get from the hotel to most places, but it's worth it, especially if you have a way to get around. The restaurant is very nice, and so is the staff."

"Writing My stay at Woodlawn Villas in Koh Tao was overall a good experience. I had booked three rooms through Trip.com, but unfortunately one of the rooms was cancelled by Trip.com, which was a bit disappointing at first. However, Trip.com handled the situation professionally and offered an attractive solution that included a refund for the cancelled room, which I appreciated. Out of the remaining two rooms, we stayed in one villa and one double room. The rooms were comfortable and the property itself has a nice, peaceful atmosphere, which makes it a pleasant place to stay while visiting Koh Tao. However, we experienced a few small issues on the first morning in the villa. There was no hot water in the shower, which was inconvenient. Also, the toaster in the villa was not in perfect working condition. These were minor problems but worth mentioning. Overall, the stay was good and enjoyable despite the small issues. With a few improvements in maintenance, the experience could be even better."

"A hotel that captivated us! A heavenly place – for me, everything about this vacation and hotel was perfect. We stayed in 6 hotels during our trip, and I give this one first place. Beach The beach is truly a paradise, the most picturesque on Koh Phangan (we visited all the tourist beaches). The sea is ideal, clear, and calm. Grounds and Accommodation The hotel grounds are extensive, like stepping into a jungle. We rented a large two-story house, and when we opened the door, we were amazed by its spaciousness. The hotel is older, but it's meticulously maintained and renovated. Dining Breakfasts are varied and delicious, served on a veranda with a beautiful view, which makes mornings especially pleasant. Activities and Sports The hotel has a large gym, and regular yoga and stretching classes are held, which helps you completely relax and rejuvenate. Staff and Service The staff and service are 5-star+. When we left, I couldn't hold back tears – that's how wonderful and heartfelt it was. Thank you My thanks to the management, staff, and everyone involved in creating this little slice of heaven. We grounded ourselves, immersed ourselves in nature, and truly rested. Until we meet again!"

"Хорошее место, остановиться на несколько дней в уединении. Пляж: Протяженный, около километра. Песок не такой белый и довольно крупный, но неплохой всё равно. Из за волн не смог оценить в полной степени, но он мелкий, идти до глубокой воды нужно далеко. Закатная сторона, можно созерцать красивые закаты. Пляжная территория: есть всё необходимое, столики, шезлонги. Территория отеля очень зелёная, ухоженная. Есть бассейн (не пользовался). При отеле есть кафе, готовят вкусно и недорого. Территориально на некотором отдалении от ближайших магазинов (минут 15-20 пешком до ближайшей 7/11 и мини-рынка). От всех остальных локаций далеко. Только такси, или аренда машины/байков. Бунгало: было немного страшновато. Выглядит ненадёжным (топните ногой и весь домик трясётся). В санузле, в душе пахнет канализацией. Очень небольшого размера, но тем не менее довольно мило, как на советской турбазе, пришла в голову такая ассоциация. В целом, если ненадолго, то остановиться можно."

"Wonderful hotel! Very interesting multi-level grounds. Gorgeous views from the pool, restaurant, and room. Breakfast was good. There wasn't a huge selection, but there was plenty of everything. I especially want to mention the granola, yogurt, and smoothies. The croissants were delicious, and the coffee was excellent. Basically, everything was delicious! Our room had a sea view. It was unforgettable!!! The room was very spacious, and everything worked. I want to commend the hotel staff. Absolutely everyone: the girls and the young man at reception, the drivers, the kitchen and restaurant staff, the maids. Everyone was great ♥️ They do their job impeccably. Thank you so much!!!!! A wonderful hotel on the mountain, I highly recommend it!"

"Super relaxed atmosphere with lovely people who want to please you. You can rent a scooter, go paddle boarding and all the food you can get here is really great! Sweet dogs on site and a beautiful swimming pool with infinity pool overlooking the sea. What else do you want?"
