Each guest room is meticulously crafted, like a work of art – spacious, comfortable, and adorned with warm, elegant decor. The private open-air bath in every room, with the natural fragrance of hinoki and elm wood, gently embraces your tired body and soul. At night, as soft lights illuminate the room, lying on the plush bed, the world feels wonderfully peaceful and tender. Waking up in the morning, brewing a cup of coffee and enjoying it with the lake view outside – a simple yet profoundly blissful moment unfolds. The warmth of the service is truly the most touching aspect here! From the moment you enter, you're greeted with meticulous and genuine hospitality. Thoughtfully, they arrange for you to change into comfortable slippers and offer a welcome drink; everything flows naturally and without pretense. I particularly remember a young female staff member with glasses who, with her fluent English and attentive, thorough explanations, made me feel incredibly comfortable and respected. Encountering such dedicated individuals during a trip is undoubtedly a rare stroke of luck. And the hotel's facilities are full of surprises! Outside the large public bath, complimentary drinks are available, along with table tennis and arcade games, adding a playful touch to your relaxation. The lobby features Japanese snacks and board games, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere; the relaxation area on the second floor is even more serene and comfortable – once you sit down, you won't want to leave. The dining experience here is simply sublime. Various alcoholic beverages are kept in ice buckets, freely awaiting wine enthusiasts! Dinner is exquisite and innovative; each dish is a stunning work of art, so delicious that it makes you want to return just for the food. Breakfast is delicate and abundant, awakening your taste buds and setting a wonderful tone for the day. The shiso soda thoughtfully provided in the in-room mini-fridge is incredibly refreshing after a hot spring soak, leaving a lasting, pleasant aftertaste. The toiletries have a delicate fragrance, leaving the skin soft and comfortable after use – even these small details are not overlooked. The overall service is friendly and sincere, without being overly familiar, yet maintaining just the right amount of professionalism. It truly feels like a 'just right' luxury experience! The hotel's surroundings are quiet and pristine, and transportation to and from the lakeside is convenient. Whether taking a taxi or using the hotel's shuttle service to JR Toya Station, it's effortless. It feels like Hotel Premium Lake Toya is not just a hotel, but a cherished memory of a journey. Here, the scenery is more than just scenery, and the service is more than just service – it's a reason to return to square one and rediscover the beauty of life.

This is a family trip for two adults and two kids. And we stayed in the hotel for 7 nights, bfast and dinner included. It's apparent in the booking that we will have kids in the stay, and yet either Trip.com/hotel charged us meals for 4 adults for the entire trip. We ended up overpaying A LOT and wasting A LOT of food because the kids couldn't finish the set meal. Yet the hotel refused to adjust / refund. This was a serious mistake made by Trip.com / hotel. The hotel provided shuttle bus to the ski resort. Good that there was early shuttle bus around 815am BUT the return shuttle was way too early (4pm) for any serious skiers. The hotel should offer more options. There was no gym in the hotel and difficult to do some proper full-body exercise. Onsen set up was nice and clean and tidy. The public onsen wasn't used much so it ended up a big private onsen for us. We like the traditional Japanese cusine but very disappointed that the chef provided limited changes on the menu during our 7 nights of stay. We spent roughly same number of nights elsewhere in Niseko and the design of their menu was way better. Staff in general was very helpful and friendly and some of them spoke English and Chinese. The hotel was short of staff IMO. I could see them running around in the hotel. The ski equipment room could be equipped with better facility to dry ski boots and gloves. Shuttle bus was only offered to Niseko but not Kutchan station which was in fact not too far away anyway. The room was clean and well maintained. The location of the hotel was great too. It's 10mins from the Niseko station and 5mins from annupuri ski run.

The staff at Park Hyatt are incredibly attentive and thoughtful. The front desk ladies are not only beautiful but also very meticulous and considerate, especially kind and warm towards children. This time, I'd like to extend a special thanks to the hotel's reservations department for taking care of a returning guest like me by promptly upgrading our room, which made our trip incredibly comfortable and enjoyable. The hotel's ski valet is a major reason why we ski here; it saves so much effort when you're tired from skiing. Last year, I remember there were enthusiastic staff members who helped with putting on and taking off ski boots; it seems that service isn't available this year. It would be even better if it were! 😄 Thank you! 🙏

The hotel is huge, and the room appliances are very smart, all Miele. The shuttle service to various ski resorts and the JR station is super convenient, and ski rental is also very easy. The hot springs are wonderfully relaxing, and breakfast is delicious. The only downside is that there are no or very few Chinese instructors and staff. I didn't encounter any, which was a challenge for someone like me who isn't good at English.

The plus point of this hotel is the outdoor mixed gender onsen. The location is inconvenient, although there is shuttle bus provided but limited time slot. There is no convenience store or restaurant nearby. I was advised the late check out rate at ¥3300 per hour but I was confused when 1 of the staff advised another guest at ¥2200 per hour. Why double standard? I guess maybe it depends on the room type?

If you are looking for a truly authentic ryokan experience, Spa Shiosai is an absolute gem. From the moment you arrive, the level of care and attention to detail is world-class. The Highlights Exceptional Dining: Each meal was a work of art, prepared with incredible precision and seasonal flair. I especially appreciated the front desk’s proactive service—they consistently checked in to coordinate my preferred dining times, ensuring every meal was served perfectly fresh. Spacious Public Baths: The onsen facilities are fantastic. The public area is expansive and never felt crowded. Having both a sauna and a serene outdoor bath (rotenburo) made for a deeply relaxing experience. Comfortable Living: Unlike many traditional stays, the room here was very spacious and exceptionally well-heated, which made for a cozy retreat after a day of exploring. The Verdict This isn't just a place to sleep; it’s a place to be looked after. Between the thoughtful staff, the gourmet catering, and the top-tier bath facilities, Spa Shiosai offers the perfect balance of tradition and comfort. Highly recommended!

Wonderful stay and our room was bigger than expected, with a good view of nakajima island. Dinner was very yummy, breakfast was simpler but still not bad. Hotel overlooks lake toya, and there’s free parking (i think first come first serve). Would recommend but probably not during golden week (inflated prices)

This hotel is conveniently located near the Moiwa and Annupuri ski resorts, with a handy shuttle service. The scenery is beautiful, breakfast is delicious, and the rooms are incredibly spacious, with the option to self-cater. There's also a large public bath and massage room on the 3rd floor, and ski lockers, washing machines, and dryers on the 1st floor – excellent facilities all around. The staff are friendly, and there's even Chinese-speaking staff available. The only downside is a sewer smell, which seems to permeate the entire hotel.

Goshiki is a skiers dream come true!!! Ideally located outside of niseko’s high traffic and a step off the stairs away from skinning up a the mountain from Giving it moderate ratings is only because it’s an older structure with minimal maintenance,…. Rooms were very nice and clean and the waters are rich in minerals. Staying here allows for exclusive 24hr onsen access. Pools get busy after 3-7pm when skiers are finishing up their day,… Go enjoy its traditional rustic building while they’re standing. Seems like within 5-10 years it will be developed and owned by a foreign tycoon! Bring your own food,,.. vending machines have beer only,…
