GGuest UserWe stayed on Koh Larn for two nights after a long time in Pattaya and before heading back to Bangkok.
Samanta by the Sea was a great find, and we enjoyed our stay very much.
The room was a great size, and it was even better that the hotel was only 5 min (walking) from the pier.
We were greeted by the owner and shown around. His friendliness and happiness were astonishing and so genuine.
Getting free noodles, bread, and coffee 24/7 was a lovely touch, too.
We can only recommend Samanta by the Sea and will stay here heapily again.

GGuest UserGood Location. You can take song-taew bus for 10 baht (Jomtien-Terminal21 route). There is a affordable restaurant next door as well.
It was a reasonable price. The room was old, but it was clean and well organized. The hotel even has a small swimming pool.
The staffs were friendly and helpful. There was no hair dryer in the room, but you can ask the staff for it. There were staffs at the lobby 24/7.
(There were stains on the pillowcase 🙏🏻)

YyuioThe location is about halfway between Pattaya and Jomtien. You can get to either, but it's difficult to get to either.
I stayed the night before in preparation for a bus ride the next day, and the bus terminal is about a 10-minute walk away.
The rooms are nice and spacious, so it might be a good place to relax for a long stay.

GGuest UserThe room was clean, tidy, and comfortable. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The location is super convenient for getting around, with plenty of amenities nearby. Any issues I had were quickly addressed and resolved. I'll definitely be staying here again next time!

GGuest UserThe hotel is good, it was clean, the air conditioning and TV (there is a smart TV) are new, the Wi-Fi in the room is normal, there is a smoking area, the room also has a kettle and a refrigerator, two bottles of water and coffee are given per day, in general everything is great, the price is also nice.

WWezi NgwenyaI wasn’t expecting much when I booked this hotel but my expectations were exceeded. The hotel is right in the heart of walking street. My room was quiet and peaceful. It was easy for me to walk up and down the street then go upstairs and rest when I needed to. I do highly recommend it for those who want to experience walking street. The staff was polite and helpful too.

GGuest UserThe hotel checked us in on time and doesn't allow early check in. this is alright and we understand. The motorbike rental with the hotel is cheaper than what shops offer at the Pier. I was able to rent for 300 baht while the offer at the pier was from 400 to 500 baht.

PPrashant007It was a bit far from the walking street and other restaurants. However, the bed was comfy. It is located in a residential building. I didn't like the surroundings that much. Also, there were not enough good mugs for coffee or tea. Also, there was no plug in the common area if you wanted to work on your laptop. And I was asked to operate my laptop in bed because of that! Also they didn't accept my booking request to modify. I paid for 6 nights but I wanted to cancel 1 night and I informed them 1.5 days before and they didn't say yes despite they have almost full occupancy every day!

MMs. AziraThe hotel has a great location, making it convenient for travelers. The place itself is good, but I was disappointed that we were given a different room from what we originally booked through Trip.com. The room we reserved was more expensive, yet we were provided with a lower-category room instead.
Additionally, I believe the hotel could benefit from some maintenance and renovations, as certain areas are starting to look a bit outdated. Proper upkeep would definitely enhance the overall experience for guests.
Overall, it’s a decent place to stay, but better attention to room allocation and maintenance would make it much better.

EErika2792We love our experience in Kaen Hostel. The room is clean and I love the aesthetic of it. The only down side is that we were on the top floor and its elevator is for luggage only. So we were so tired from our tours and from going up & down the stairs too. But i would recommend this hostel and would come back of given a chance.
